The Beacon hit all our wants and needs. We moved into the Beacon in Feb 2019 and even though our stay was short, we loved every day spent in and around this community. The staff at this place was Incredible. I want to acknowledge those that made our stay so welcoming- individuals like the community manager, Mario, Michelle at the front desk, the women working in the leasing office, the maintenance and cleaning staff and others- all who contributed to our awesome experience at the Beacon. Mario and his team made us genuinely feel like we were part of a family and were always there to help us when we needed something. When Mario arrived earlier this year, he made it a priority to meet his tenants, scheduling community gatherings that brought tenants and staff together. After a long day in NYC, I would walk through the front doors, and staff always provided a warm welcome home. It was a great experience here and we'd stay longer if we were not taking care of a recent injury and arranging a relocation. Senior management should be proud of the staff and management team at this building. Location is key too- on the water, close to stores, and a walk to the train station. Events by the Harbor and great area to walk your dog. Hop in your car and head down the road a few exits to Whole Foods in Darien, get some good eats in Norwalk, or stay in Stamford and you'll find some good eats there too! If you're looking for a great place in Stamford to call home, I highly encourage you to check this place out!

This is not ethical considering how the housing crisis just gets worse and worse. New tenants will get better deals than you will on your own unit. They almost encourage you to move out with the pricing. So if postmark is on the upper end of your budget, they will for sure increase everything your next lease. I would like to shout out the front desk staff. They are literally incredible people and all of them deserve more money from this shit company (cushman and wake) that runs this place. The staff is amazing. Corporate BS in the housing market ruined it for us tho. If they didn't price us out, we would stay for another year or 2.

Beware where you live in this building. I lived 4 floors above the giant powerlifting area of their…read moregym (in one of the B5 apartments). There are 12 squat racks there, and the gym offers group powerlifting classes daily at 6am and 7pm! It was absolute hell and I was getting awakened daily from 5:30am onwards with loud thuds and the sounds of people dropping their barbells. Not just noise but vibrations. I recorded the noise dozens of times and sent them to Panam Equities. Ear plugs were totally useless. I asked the building to move me but their policy is no internal moves. I even spoke to the gym's front desk manager who told me the building decided not to use sound proofing during construction.
