Abraham and Eduardo were amazing. It was our anniversary trip and our first night at the Hilton resort. We went to Vela, a fine dining restaurant on the resort. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed the service they provided. From making the best recommendations on the menu, to sheltering us with table umbrellas before it started to rain, to making us feel special with a delicious little dessert and limoncello to celebrate our anniversary, they were amazing. We will definitely be back and are already talking about bringing the rest of our family.

The food was great at the start of my meal but progressed down from there! First the good, I started with a non-alcoholic berry drink for Dry January. It was good but a bit too sweet for me! I ordered the pear salad and it was wonderful and very unique it had some frozen cream in the middle, not ice cream I don't think but something frozen, it was very different! I then ordered the burrata tortellini that's where they failed, it was hard, not al dente hard but truly undercooked in my opinion! They had a three bread choice, I selected the sourdough and the ciabatta, by far the ciabatta was the best, it was fresh and soft! The pasta is supposed to be made fresh in house daily but I feel like mine was not. Just my opinion! They did give a complimentary chocolate truffle at the end of the meal! Oh but the service was quick and very attentive. The ambiance was very nice too as it was poolside with little lanterns in the pool lite up!

Omg this place not only has the ambience but very flavorful and well cooked food and wonderful service to match. We made a reservation easy on OpenTable. Got a nice seat right by the pool and infront of the live band. The arugula salad was so beautiful and fresh and loved it was not drenched in sauce. Beautiful like art as well. They have a nice sommelier who helped me pick out a pinor noir from new zealand. It was so refreshing and good!! Ordered the totoaba fish bc i saw another reviewer rave about it. It was veryyy good. It is a local fish, light, soft with good flavor. Buttery and citrusy. The shrimp ravioli was bomb as well. Ordered with "less cheese" and there was like no cheese and it was so flavorful and good. The shrimp was delicious. This place exceeded my expectations and guess what we got complimentary currant truffle at the end!! Def recommend to try out.

One word...delicioso!!! Located poolside at the Hilton Los Cabo's hotel, this is a "must try" restaurant. The service was impeccable! Our server Gregorio was nothing short of amazing. He was attentive to our needs and made our night a touch more special. The food is probably the best at the resort. The shrimp ravioli was actually stuffed with chunks of shrimp. I didn't have to guess what I was eating. It was also flavorful. I would not suggest it for a large eater. The short rib rigatoni was very savory dish and a better option for someone who has a larger appetite. The oysters were good but not $30US good. There is a bread tray on rotation was a nice addition to the meal. This is a very romantic or intimate restaurant. Perfect for a date!

Services is excellent. There were so many items I wanted on the menu we ate there two nights in a row for dinner. Heaters outdoor make it nice if it's a bit chilly. Ambiance is great. Wouldn't recommend casual or pool attire.

If you want an unforgettable experience spend the money and book the "dinner on the beach." ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The table design, candle decor, the sounds of the waves, and being able to watch the sunset that then turned into moon light was the perfect way to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. You get to choose your options from a gorgeously designed menu with flavors and combinations you can't get just anywhere. Our server Martin, perfectly coursed out our choices. Martin was such a pleasure to have as our waiter for the evening. Martin is a very kind soul that went over and beyond to ensure we had the best evening. Thank you Martin for taking such amazing care of us. Thank you to our host Rosario for walking us down to our table and greeting us farewell as we left. This was a perfect night!

Really great time! Ordered 3 appetizers to share as our (2 person) dinner meal and it was the perfect amount of food. We even had tons leftover. Our server and server assistant were extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. They explained everything and even brought out a special birthday dessert for my partner's birthday! Incredible view of the ocean and infinity pool. Would love to go back in the future!

Food and drinks were delicious. Variety of breads to choice from at the beginning of your meal. Service was impeccable. Yummy

My favorite travel dinner experience! Especially because of our amazing server, Diego! I've been back to Hilton Los Cabos two years in a row now and try to eat at Vela as many nights as possible. The food is absolutely exceptional - I especially love the totoaba! Diego always makes the evening so personalized and memorable with special touches and extra treats. So grateful to know him and can't wait to continue coming back often!

The meat and cheese plate had tasty options and it included some jam and honey. I do not recall which cheeses or meats were included but I do recall enjoying them all. The peppercorn and marrow add some nice accent flavors. I am always a fan of grilled potatoes so it was a nice touch for me. I also tried the Ravioli Di Costine Di Manzo. It is a short rib ravioli with beef reduction and perfumed with habanero pepper. This was very good. It is small so you will need to pair it with something or share it as an appetizer. You expect the familiar flavor of traditional hummus... and then BOOM. The complexity of flavors hits you like a ton of delicious bricks. It completely changes your expectations of what hummus can be. Next came the Burrata Macha. Imagine a classic Italian burrata reimagined with a Mexican soul. The spicy red macha oil elevated it to an entirely different level. Every bite revealed new flavors that were almost impossible to define, making each one a wonderful surprise. For the main course, I ordered the Mexican interpretation of Bucatini al Nero. As someone who loves the Italian original, I was amazed. It kept the spirit of the dish while adding a Mexican twist that somehow made it even better. It wasn't simply Italian or Mexican cuisine--it became something entirely its own. My wife chose the Triangoli de Humita. The name might sound unusual, but so was the dish--in the best possible way. It was far more than a corn ravioli. The incredible depth of flavor, paired with a rich, dark mushroom sauce, made it one of the standout dishes of the evening. Dessert was the Merengue de Salvia, although calling it a meringue doesn't really do it justice. It somehow managed to be spicy, savory, sweet, and tangy all at the same time. It was unlike anything we've ever had and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. A special thank you to Rolando, our waiter, who explained every dish with passion and attention to detail. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the entire experience even more memorable. Sage isn't just a restaurant. My girlfriends and I ordered four Mexican breakfast in different forms but they are just very clever ways of making tacos into breakfast items. I have recently remet up with my girlfriends who gushed about our breakfast expedition at this place. Everything was wonderful but the most pronounced characteristic about this breakfast menu is how something so simple can taste this good. The concept is easy to replicate - taco with bacon and eggs make is breakfast and not lunch but the execution is difficult to pull it off at home because you can't get the ingredients as good as here, plus the avocado is way better Mexico. I took lots of photos about the food but I could not take the ceviche or taco home. So I finally tried to replicate the breakfast taco recently at a friend's house and it was a total winner. Imitation is the best form of flattery. This restaurant is slightly out of the way but it is worth the short walk. On the way to the restaurant, we also found great massage place and a supermarket where I picked up some Kinder eggs for friends' children back in San Francisco. Four brunches, four drinks, several appetizers and two desserts set us back $75 for the four of us. What a steal! No wonder it took me weeks before I feel justified to eat out back at home again.

Not only was the food excellent, but our server, Sergio, gave us a mini masterclass on tequila, mezcal, and yes--even Jose Cuervo. It made the whole experience that much richer. We started with two cocktails: La Rubarosa and La Damiana. The Rubarosa was surprisingly smooth and light - one of those drinks you don't expect to enjoy as much as you do. For starters, we ordered the bluefin tostada and the roasted beet salad. The corn tortilla on the tostada was honestly the tastiest I've ever had. Perfect texture, perfect flavor. For our mains, we chose the bean tamale and the seafood rice. The tamale came with an exceptional mole - truly the star of the plate. The tamale itself was fine, but the mole absolutely stole the show. Did you know that true mole has over 40 ingredients? The seafood rice was flavorful, masterfully prepared, and a generous portion. For dessert, we ordered the horchata ice cream, which was lovely. But the real surprise was the tres leches cake they brought out for my birthday.
