Do not miss this spot while in Cabo. A must try. This small, unassuming neighborhood gem boasts the exquisite culinary skills of head chef and owner Enrique. White table cloths and fabulous service kicked off our dining experience. Two of us started with the Provençal stuffed mushroom appetizer. Plenty for 4 to split! Very tasty. (So is the complimentary garlic bread) Enrique came by our table and introduced himself. He surprised us with ONE goat cheese stuffed ravioli in. White citrus herb sauce...Just to sample. Yum! The Caprese salad was fresh and plenty to share between two- Altho we didn't! While I tried to curtail the amount of food by ordering the eggplant appy- this was still a sizable plate. There were 4 delicate slices of eggplant covered with a light parmigiana and carefully browned mozzarella cheese. I took half home! The filet mignon was like butter. Cooked to perfection and nicely season and covered in a mushroom gravy. The side pasta was done with a white cream sauce- light and tasty. My table guest took half their meal home, too. That left us with plenty of room (ok, maybe not so much room) for dessert. Holy cannoli...we had crepe Suzette that was cooked to order. Unbelievable!! And yes- there was cannolis. We tasted a Mexican wine at the recommendation of our sever- which did not disappoint. All in, we spent just under $200 and had left overs. A wonderful evening out. Great local art adorned the walls of this quaint 5-star restaurant. So, would I come back? You bet!!

Very good Italian gourmet restaurant. Started off our meal with delicious garlic bread dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Had the bruschetta appetizer topped with the freshest ingredients. My husband ordered the Chilean sea bass covered with truffle sauce and shrimp. It came with a variety of fresh organic vegetables including bakchoy, carrots, Brussels sprouts, asparagus and broccoli. I had the lasagna which was the perfect blend of noodles, meat and cheese. Delicious. Chef Enrique came to the table, welcomed us and introduced himself. The waiter Ricardo was very professional and prompt.

My friend and I went for the lunch special and were super impressed! There were 3 or 4 choices if chicken, Fish, meat, but he had us both at pasta with olive oil and garlic and fresh organic vegetables. Lunch came with fresh, hot, grilled bread, and a choice of 2 soups or salad. We both opted for the vegetable cream soup. Everything was even more amazing than the last time we went! It was hot, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. We both had a glass of Cabernet with lunch and enjoyed the quiet and charming ambiance to talk. To top it off, delicious dessert was included! I highly recommend lunch at Alcaravea!

I'm a big time food snob and I will I took pictures of my main course. The food was just absolutely top of the line. The filet with black pepper sauce and vodka sauce pasta on the side was amazing. The filet truly does melt in your mouth. The pasta was so fresh and amazing as well. Service was fantastic as well. For the Italian lovers out there, you won't be disappointed, and I don't give out five stars lightly..

Wow! This place is a diamond in the rough! Just an amazing restaurant. Great wine selection and even better food! The owner/chef is very engaged and comes to legitimately ask how the food is. You can tell he will take it all to heart. Service and food is some of the best in Cabo. I can't rave about this place enough!

Clean plate club good! Had a reservation to try this place after having it recommended. We showed up and the power was out in the restaurant, but the kitchen was up and running, so we decided to stay. It was dark and hot (July in Cabo without air conditioning hot) but we made the best of it. We started with the mushroom appetizer and that was melt in your mouth delicious, then the caprese and Caesar salad which were both great. I ordered the sea bass special and it was probably the best sea bass dish I have ever eaten. Everyone at the table scraped their plates clean. So glad we decided to stick with this place. This will be on the list for our next visit in spring. Side note: service is extremely slow but I promise it's worth the wait.

On my return visit to Cabo, one month last October and one month this march/april 2024 We went to this restaurant for dinner and the food was as tasty and beautifully presented by extremely attentive crew Went today for lunch: MUST TRY... lunch menu is presented 12-4 (dinner after 4) The special lunches are a complete full meal set up so there is less deciding Bread/toast served warm (hot), soup ( 2-3 choices) I had the vegetable soup, which is pictured here, my partner had the most beautifully and bountiful minestrone soup. A choice of several options, I had the sea bass while my partner had the steak the meal is a gracious $320 pesos ( $20 us) A tea or fresh lime drink plus a sweet treat is included. The attentive service, beautifully presented meals makes this place a must "enjoy"! A little wiggle room off the main drag ( about 5 blocks from the main drag in Cabo) I encourage your visit here, great food w attention to detail and service. And the lunch specials are a winner, as I love to eat great food a lot. I am here for another 5 weeks, and I expect to enjoy their lunch specials as well as their filet steak again and again. I encourage you visiting this place.

Ribeye steak with side of pasta, I choose vodka pasta. Delicious

This spot is a bit inconspicuous, but with maps we were able to find it. From the outside you would never expect such a warm and inviting dining atmosphere. The lush plants and open roof add to the ambience, with an old-world Italian vibe inside. Our waiter, Oscar, was so friendly attentive throughout our dining experience. I had made mention in the reservation about it being my fiancés birthday, but had stepped away and mentioned it to Oscar to ensure they could sing happy birthday to him. We started with drinks, an Aperol Spritz for me and The Godfather for him. Mine was light and refreshing, his was strong and definitely did not skimp on the alcohol. We enjoyed the bread service, which was a delicious crispy loaf accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. For our entrees, we ordered the Mama's Sunday Gravy (with an extra meatball) and the Grilled Prawns. Their entrees are all very large and are intended to be served family style. I ironically do not like pasta, so that's why I opted for the grilled prawns as it's one of the few items on the menu that does not have pasta. My fiance thoroughly enjoyed Mama's Sunday Gravy, stating it was one of the best Italian dishes he's ever had. He's even vacationed in Italy and grew up in a half Italian household, so that's saying a lot. He thought the sausage and meatballs were both packed with flavor and had the perfect consistency. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich without being overpowered by herbs. True to form, the entree was so large that he ended up taking half back to the hotel for lunch the next day. The grilled prawns were okay. I found the to be overcooked, but when the pesto was added, it was a nice bite with the crustini. At the end of our meal, Oscar and a few of the other waiters came to our table, delivering a delicious duo of cannolis and sang happy birthday to my fiance. Although we were both stuffed, we managed to split one of the cannolis and took the other to-go. The cannolis were so good, and I'm not a huge fan of cannolis. The shell was thin and packed with a delicious filling. The nut and chocolate chip mixture added a great texture and flavor contrast. This was a perfect way to celebrate my fiancés 40th birthday. Thank you Oscar and the rest of the staff at Salvatore G for making it such a special night. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

It is an extremely small space and they'll pass you multiple times without looking your way so you can call them over. We waited almost 15 minutes before ordering then didn't get our drinks for another 15 minutes (bottled water!!?). My boyfriend ended up going to the counter, which was about 12 feet away from us, and asking for it himself. It took about another 10 minutes before our carpaccio came and I was extremely hangry (sorry @ bf). However, after taking my initial bite, I was ALL SMILES! One of the best carpaccio plates I've ever had in my life. I ate most of it (thanks @ bf). Still, we were more than halfway done with the plate before our pastas came. I got the short rib rigatoni -- the short rib was decent but there were maybe 4 chunks in the entire thing (not huge chunks either) and the rigatoni was a level above al dente. I was not a fan, so bf and I switched pastas. The shrimp scampi fettuccini was OK -- there was actually a good amount of shrimp in it! The pasta was also OK, it just didn't feel like any of the sauce absorbed into it. Pasta was definitely on the thicker side. Overall, would not return. Definitely not worth the price. Might have given 1-2 stars if not for the saving grace: carpaccio. Actually, I guess I would return solely for the carpaccio as both my app and main dish. Highly recommend stopping in for that dish as a mid-day snack or what have you.

The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!
