We ordered two large plates; 1st plate was brisket, greens, slaparoni & slaw. 2nd plate was tri tip, potato salad, baked beans & slaparoni. The food is delicious, I used to go to the Oakland location but since it closed down I've been craving Vegan Mob and decided to drive to this location. But this time I'm extremely disappointed. My girlfriend was eating the slaparoni and begin choking. She coughed up a piece of metal fragment, it wasn't the foil but much harder and sharper. Therefore, I'm giving one star. Just be cautious when eating here

OMG! I've been wanting to try this place for a long while. Every time I've been in town I haven't had a chance, but this time I made the effort and it didn't disappoint. Let me tell you, it was the best southern food I've had in years! The fried chicken - insanely good, and the mac and cheese was to die for. So glad I made the trip, and look forward to coming back again soon!

0/10 would never recommend. Paid $24 and was a waste of money. I made the mistake of getting buffalo flavor but minus the flavor I couldn't even eat it. Wasn't chewable and was too wet. As you can see in picture the shit just fell apart. Don't waste your money. The fries was koo tho.

I finally got a taste of Vegan mob...Vallejo has been buzzin' about this truck coming to town...so the line was long when I got there on Thurday after work. In conjunction with one of my other favorite trucks (MoreliifeIce) Tennessee st was getting looks and big business from their presence. I Hope more food trucks like this get word to come out Vallejo's way cause the goods are always welcomed any time.

I was for some reason wanting to try some vegan food. I did enjoy the brisket which was delicious . The brisket came with a side of beans and potato salad which was also tasty. I will be back to try the rest of the food on the menu.

Came to Vegan Mob to enjoy some vegan fare with friends. We ordered a smorgasbord of plates to share and were able to eat it right in front of the truck (as there were no other tables set up in the lot). A rundown of what we had: Lumpia and Garlic Rice - lumpia was filled with impossible meat. It was freshly fried and super crunchy. It didn't come with any sauce which seemed like a missed opportunity. The garlic rice was very garlicky and delivered piping hot, but it wasn't tossed very well in that you ran across some super salty bites and some super bland bites. Mob Burger Cheese Rolls - these were SO GOOD. They also featured impossible meat but also included a melty cheese which made it so much more complete. Fully Loaded Nachos - if your cowboy barbeque crashed into a tacqueria, you'd get these nachos which featured plant based brisket, baked beans, slaw, guac, and nacho cheese. They were really good but in my opinion, leaned too hard on the bbq. The sweet bbq sauce really overwhelmed the dish after a while. Large combo - we picked proteins of shrimp (oyster mushrooms), chicken (tofu), and rib tips (seitan). All of them were very good but I think the chicken was my personal favorite. For sides, we got the mac n cheese, mob fries, spaghetti, and candied yams. The yams and mac and cheese were DELISH. The fries were extremely sad, tiny potato sticks and the spaghetti would only be good of you like banana ketchup. The spaghetti was just way too sweet for me. Renz Po'Boy - points for using Dutch crunch! I also thought the faux shrimp was very convincing. The slaw was a little too creamy and wet on the sandwich but the flavors were certainly there. I definitely could have used a nice meaty tomato or some crunchy onions to play with more texture within the sandwich. Really wished there were some dessert options but in the Mission, it's not a huge loss since there's quite a few delish options nearby. Price was pretty good for the amount of food we received!

My doctor, Dr. Thu, always says to me: " Please eat less meat, less sugar and less sodium".  By my 3rd visit with him and receiving  the same advice, I asked him, "Dr. THU, are you vegetarian?!?"  He laughed, said no, and asked me why? The only time I really like eating vegetables is when ordering it on half a Golden Boy Pizza!  Once in a blue moon, a "Super Vegetarian Burito" por favor.  Last night, I ate at Vegan Mob truck (SF) for the 1st time and was really impressed by the wonderful taste and flavors!  Didn't miss have a "meat" as protein at all!  Does this mean I'm trying to turn into a vegetarian? No way! Was really surprised by the great flavors. Service was nice and quick. I asked the workers what i should order. The said everything! Difficult street parking.

"PULL UP ON US BABY!" If you follow Vegan Mob on IG, you'll know that this is their signature saying. They see their followers and fans as a real community and a real community would roll up to support. And support we do. I've been following Vegan Mob for a long time now back when they only had their Oakland location. I anxiously waited for their new truck to debut in SF so I didn't have to venture over the bridge for some tasty plant-based soul food. They park their truck on the corner of 18th & Valencia. A fantastic addition to the neighborhood! sometimes the Vegan Senor Sisig truck parks next to them and it's a vegan comfort food partay! Vegan mob has a loyal following, form both the black and vegan community. It's amazing to see a Vegan POC/black-owned small business owner make their dreams a reality and share their food and love with us. It is so difficult to choose what to eat because there are so many choices! However, you can't go wrong with a mob plate. Choose between small, medium, or large. It comes with protein and a bunch of sides. Get the lip-smacking Smackeroni! The collared greens are fantastic! The coleslaw adds something bright and refreshing to the dish. The fried chicken is so crunchy and savory. You really can't go wrong with any choice. They also do these really fun fusion plates that feature a lot of Mexican/Asian inspired dishes. I absolutely LOVE the garlic noodles! Order the Asian Mafia Mob plate and it comes with impossible meat lumpia, fried rice, and your choice or garlic shrimp or chili shrimp. SOOO absolutely MOUTHWATERING GOOD. Anyway, I could go on and on about how good everything is or you can run your booty over to the Mission and try it ASAP! This is one business I am happy to support!

It takes a little bit of time for the food to be prepared and ready but in the mean time you can always take pictures with their various photo ops (such as the dino eating Putin and King Neptune on the roof) there or go into their anti- animal cruelty gas station shop. There's a couple small picnic table seating outside, but it was raining at the time and already some people there so decided to take our food to go. Definitely do need a table to eat the food since it's a lot to share though or at least be careful if you're eating it in a car. We got the: 1) Mobba'q Spaghetti: -This is their impossible spaghetti with impossible ground beef meat and a hint of bbq sauce. -Reminds me of sweet Filipino spaghetti from Jollibee's but of course vegan and you get more spaghetti and not as drowned in sauce, which is a good thing. As a simple spaghetti enjoyer, this was probably my favorite dish of what we ordered. 2) Louisiana Fried Chicken Plate: -We can choose up to 3 sides and we got the Southern style collard greens (hey, my beardie eats this), smackeroni (mac n cheese, contains gluten, but soy free), and potato salad (contains soy, but is gluten free). -You get a HUGE amount of sides. You can probably get full on the sides by themselves. They do NOT skimp out on the portions. -Delicious mac n cheese. Sauce is a bit more "fluid" and gooey and less dense and cheesy which makes it much easier to eat. Solid potato salad with the perfect sour and creamy taste. Big chunks of potatoes and other veggies in included. -You get several HUGE pieces of their Louisiana fried chicken. No bones since it's vegan so another plus for me. Nice and crispy on the outside and not too dry on the inside. Super dense protein bits that go great with their sauce. Definitely can get full from this and it's easily shareable. 3) Vegan Rib Tips: -It has like that Asian pork floss texture but super condensed and obviously vegan. -Went great with their bbq sauce, completely different texture but a delicious protein snack on the side. If I'm visiting my chuckwallas again, I don't mind stopping by for another visit.

We went on Yelp and searched for Vegan food and found this interesting food truck with great reviews. We were excited as this truck was parked in a gas station with a vegan yes completely vegan food mart and a giant statue of a rooster outside. This was the most fun part of this experience. The prices on the food truck did not match what the young lady - new employee " I'm sorry I don't know this is my 6th day" - rang up ( $1.60 more per item). When I asked her and her colleague( Caucasian lady about 5 ft 4 inches tall), the latter just shrugged her shoulders, walked out of the truck and passed us without responding on her way to the gas station rest room where she stayed for the next 12 minutes( till we left. I asked our first contact about the hours posted on the sign on the truck as in open for breakfast and she stated nope, maybe 11 or so. It was sad because the new employee was trying so hard to push the taco meal deal combo for an additional $11 on us. The tacos had two tiny pieces of soy. ( photo). We got the food to go and unwrapped everything at the hotel. The burrito was not bad. We were starving and just woofed it down. I was tempted to call the number on the side of the truck and run a check on the owner who has a different truck in San Francisco but decided against it. Sometimes you just got to let it go.

When I looked at the online ordering, it said it would take about 20 minutes, and my hotel was about a 20 minute ride away, so that worked out perfectly. I ordered the Sheriff and some seasoned fries and got on the road. Both the burger and fries were hearty and hit the spot. Overall, this perfectly nails a 4-star experience. The burger wasn't some kind of next level amazing, but it was just a perfectly enjoyable way to end my 4 days in the Bay Area. Hidden Spot is essentially the kitchen portion of a dive bar. I sat at a table with only one other patron in the place around 11am on a Saturday morning. The other patron was enjoying the ability to be fully in charge of the digital juke box while I was enjoying stuffing my face.

Customary at most Vietnamese restaurants, you get your food with minimal check ins and not even a plate clearing until the bill comes. This was NOT the case here. There service was definitely in the A/A+ range! I ordered on my phone via QR code, but there was an option to order in person from a server. I ordered many items to try out. I ordered spring rolls, crispy salt and pepper wings, grilled pork banh mi, beef dac beit pho, and a Thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good. Grade: A I thought the Spring Rolls were decent, but what made them even better was the peanut sauce! I always hate when the peanut sauce is watery and this was far from that! An excellent gooey peanut sauce and maybe one of the best I've had fpr consistency. Grade: A- Crispy salt and pepper wings definitely had an incredible crunch. They were up there in crunchiness. The drumettes were meaty which I appreciated. They were well seasoned also. I think I need to try their other wings before crowning these, but some of the cruncheist wings I've had for sure. Grade: A- Beef Dac Biet Pho had some real high quality meat in it. I had options in noodle and my go-to for any pho spot is the egg noodles. I wish it had more bo vien in it, but I appreciated the combo of meats. The broth seemed authentic, but I wanted a tad more flavor out of it without adding sauces. Overall, the pho grade was a B+ bordering an A-. The star of the show was the grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and saucy. In fairness I asked for extra pickles and mayo, but I was very impressed. The bread had the crispy crunch we all look for but minus the stale bread. The breads soft yet crispness made it seem as if it just came out of the oven! I'm going to dub this as the best I've had in the Bay Area! There I said it! Grade: A+ Everyone who ordered the sampler seemed very pleased at other tables, I would definitely try that. Also, want to try the other banh mis and noodle options for the pho. There was a nice vibe at this place. I didn't feel rushed although they do close fairly early at 8pm. The server's mom is the one cooking in the kitchen and I appreciated the family feeling at this place. They do have a newer location in San Francisco that has a DJ Friday nights that I may check out. I believe the server said that they are open til 2am on most nights, but I may have misheard her. Feel free to Yelp that location. My only disappointment was that I really love papaya salad and it was not an option. I may make this my go-to spot from now on, but as a Yelper, we all know we will keep trying new places. This will be the one I continue to frequent. Well done Pho de Nguyen!

I ordered the Pho Tai Gau (rare steak and brisket) with thin pho noodles, split bowl with extra noodles to share with my toddler. The meat is super thin and tender! Although we ordered "extra" noodles, it didn't feel like extra compared to a normal bowl, but my toddler wanted more soup than noodles so it worked out. We also got the imperial rolls appetizer. It was tasty but I felt like it was a bit overdone, because it hurt the roof of my mouth haha, but I do prefer it to be crispy than soggy so I'm not complaining! Just be aware :) Nowadays, my best eating out meals are those in which my toddler enjoyed and allowed her to be on her best behavior. Our server checked up on us multiple times (never had to flag her down) and took great care of us. My toddler even let her pick her up! So thank you for the great service!
