The spirit of aloha was felt by all our guests and we were transported back home to Hawaii. It was such a monumental day for my parents and Auntie Kawai exceeded all our expectations. Personal songs that meant so much to our family were translated into a beautiful expression of hula. The extraordinary details they thought of brought that ohana to life. My heart was overwhelmed with love. So personable, friendly and warm. All the ladies who performed that day really made the experience for my family and our guests complimenting days after it was over. We live in a world that's sometimes full of things that can bring you down. But when special moments arise there's light that breaks through and hula from the heart shines brightly. Thank you Auntie Kawai for your gift to this world.

We are avid wine drinkers and visit wineries often. The service is great, the tour was very fun and informative,Steve is nice and knowledgeable. Their wines are solid, all of them, especially the reds. They have plenty of picnic tables and you can bring your own food Their lobby/tasting room has a big variety of snacks and merchandise to take home and the people working there are helpful. We'll be back soon to enjoy their wine and perhaps join one of their fall events.

We went in for the wine tasting, which comes with five wines: one white, one rosé, and three reds. Their wines are definitely on the drier side. I really enjoyed their reds and their Chardonnay. They also have a cute little shop inside with snacks and gift options. I picked up some crackers and organic raspberry Red Vines, which was a fun little bonus. The downside for me was the tasting experience. Tastings are done at the counter, so we had to stand at the bar while tasting, even though there is plenty of beautiful seating throughout the property. There were three people working behind the bar. The two helpers were very kind, friendly, and seemed like they were learning the ropes. Unfortunately, the woman with the long black, curly/wavy hair seemed to be running the show, and her personality really put a damper on our experience. She came across as extremely cold and unwelcoming, and honestly looked like she didn't want to be there, girl looks miserable. We didn't stay after the tasting. I really like being able to relax and enjoy my time at a winery, and when the service feels unwelcoming, it takes away from the experience for me. I was there with two friends and was actually considering celebrating my birthday there, but I couldn't see myself spending more time in that atmosphere. So we decided to leave and head up the street to Reyes Winery...and honestly, I'm SO happy we did! If you're interested, head over to my Yelp and check out my review of Reyes Winery. The difference in the experience was night and day!

This was the worst Octoberfest I have ever been to in my life. (Four previous others)…read more The cost was $15 per person to wait in an hour long line for brats or a separate equally long line for beer. We tried to get our money back at the site but Alice, the only person who wasn't a volunteer didn't have cash for refunds. As we were leaving 1 hour after it started among many other really upset people, we heard one of the three beer vendors ran out of beer. So one food vendor, three beer vendors, almost no seats or tables, a bad band and a guy in a chicken costume......yikes!!! If they put this on again don't go.

I am in complete agreement with the previous post - this was such a poorly planned event that it…read morehas prompted me to join yelp just to write this review. We were shocked to see only one food vendor for Brats and Sausage and one for strudel, and only 2 booths for beer (we did not see a third). After waiting in a very disorganized line to pay $15 to get in, you then have to wait in line to get drink tickets then another line to get beer, not to mention the huge line to get food. After just 45 minutes to an hour, one of the beer booths ran out of one of they beers that were supposed to be part of our "beer flight" and I heard that towards the end of the event the booths ran out of beer entirely. We ended up leaving early and giving our left over drink tickets away and going to a Mexican restaurant down the street to eat. Whoever organized this clearly has no idea what they are doing and I feel that my husband and I are owed the $50 ($15 to get in and $20 for drink tickets) that we wasted on this lousy event. We will most assuredly will not be going to this if they have one next year.

Lombardi Ranch has been around for me, since the beginning of time…read more.. I can remember being a kid and driving up to the Ranch from the Valley for Pumpkins, Pony Rides and of course the Corn Maze. Now, I'm a Mommy and it's where I've taken my son for the past two years (he's two) to collect Pumpkins and ride the Choo Choo. I love it here. Lombardi Ranch is a fun and family friendy atmosphere with live music and community bake sales and craft fairs. This is the kind of place you can still let your kiddo run around without the impending doom feeling that you're going to have to stab someone when they look sideways at your monkey. While it does cost a few bucks to partake in their outsourced activities, I just think being outside and getting to run around chasing my son is the best thing ever...you can catch the family that runs the ranch helping out with the fresh veggies stand (all grown on property) and driving the train through the Scare Crow Field. As a local SCV Mommy, I experienced the fires last year and almost lost my own home to the flames on the ridge...so seeing that Lombardi Ranch is back this year inspite of their own personal losses in the Buckweed Fire, just kind of makes me all warm and fuzzy and I don't mind spending the extra cash on throwing my monkey on the trian or walking through the amazing Maze. Happy Pumpkin hunting to all!
