This was the second time that I've been to Agua Dulce in the past month. I decided to take my father for a pre-Father's Day trip and I couldn't be more happy to say that he had a wonderful time. Captain Steve was as always knowledgeable and insightful on how Wine is made. My dad was completely baffled on how much information there is to know about making wine. So glad I went. Can't wait to come back.
What a large property so much to do here, whether you want to taste drink a bottle, bring some food or visit the animals they have on property. This place doubles as a donkey rescue. Buy a cup, buy some clothing walk in and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and incredibly pleasant customer service. First time i've ever been asked if I was a Cork Dork absolutely love the vibe here!!! Rose delicious!! 50/50 yes!!! The Cabernet is my favorite Love that we can bring food. Cant wait to explore the property! The service, wine, and space are spectacular!! Steve and Sara are amazing!! They have GRAPE STOMPING day the first Saturday in October. With a I Love Lucy look alike contest!!! Fabulous experience!!! Our tour of the grounds did not disappoint. Fabulous stop, can't wait to return!!!
Cute photo ops and was a great place to celebrate my 40th birthday. There was a big giant room (no AC) almost like for a wedding reception that we had to ourselves. I love a place that's family friendly where you can bring your own food. We each got a couple glasses of wine and a bottle to share. if you want to do a test thing, you have to stay in the room when you first walk in.
This is one of our go to wineries that's not far from the city. A quick half hour or so and you're here. There's only this and another winery that's next door. But between the two, this place takes the cakes. It's nicer and more of a tasting room/vineyard. Service is always great each and every visit. Sara, is the one that always takes care of us. The sweetest and friendliest each and every time. Also knows her craft. Tasting room is always busy as that's where everyone always starts off. They also have retail inside with many different gift options, snacks, and so on. You're able to have your tasting inside or what we do, grab a bottle and take it outside to one of the picnic tables. There's also seating indoor in the side room. But majority of the guest tends to be outside with their picnic items. And there's a farm area with animals. Horses, chicken, lamas, donkeys... This visit, there wasn't much out. They also have a horseshoes game area. A gazebo right in the middle of the field where musical guests normally set us. It's a nice chill vineyard. Pretty big property and the wines we normally get is good.
I drove by this winery one day and knew I had to visit. It's absolutely beautiful outside and the inside is really spacious for wine tasting. We were welcomed by the staff and did a tasting which was delicious. It was chilly out but we walked the property and it's so pretty! I loved seeing the donkeys and can't wait to visit during warmer weather again.
Such a hidden gem! I took advantage of a Groupon promotion and had a mother daughter day celebrating my mom's birthday with a wine tour and tasting. Steve was such an awesome and knowledgeable host. He had such a positive vibe and genuine passion for what he does. We toured all the steps of the wine making process and sampled different wines along the way. At the end of the tour we were provided with lunches that were very yummy! They had veggie and turkey sandwiches available. We had the turkey sandwiches that were very flavorful and came with a side of pasta and a Madeline cookie. Everything was tasty!! They had indoor and outdoor seating available. Great place to host events or even come here for a picnic near the animals.
Agua Dulce Winery is such a hidden gem! The vibes here are amazing. The wines were absolutely delicious, and the property itself is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery that makes you want to stay all afternoon. My go to wine is the Cabernet. There isn't any food sold at the winery itself, but if you're lucky, there's sometimes a stand outside selling delicious Salvadoran food, highly recommend getting the cheese pupusas, it pairs well with the wine.
Just went for a tasting. Very nice grounds, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the wines. They even Have a few animals on the premises. The service was ok. Typical pour and explanation. Nice relaxing afternoon
I've been here a couple of times and absolutely love it! It's a beautiful winery not too far from the city, with a charming petting zoo and plenty of space to relax. You can enjoy a lovely picnic on the property, and their green zone is perfect for lounging and sipping wine. All of their wines are delicious, but my favorite is the Rosé. They also have a local bakery on-site selling amazing baked goods, and you can take a tour of the winery to learn more about their process. The manager is super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. I really enjoyed learning from him during the tour. We got to taste more wines afterward and spent hours just relaxing, taking photos, and soaking in the beautiful scenery. This place is such a gem. I can't wait to come back soon!
The setting of this winery against the muscular high desert hills is striking. The property is large and spacious. It has very charming spots for picnicking all around the central tasting barn. I came here for a Christmas market with some excellent, unique crafts people and the products were both unusual and in good taste. There is good curation here. The grounds are very charming and the wine growing is scenic. Even though it is a wide open sky and wide horizons with rolling hills in the distance, the arrangements of barrels, and western iconography features around the property give this place a sense of a familiar aesthetic from old westerns, and it feels appealing. I highly recommend this winery for an excursion in the high desert region north of Los Angeles. I didn't get a chance to do wine tasting but I will next time.
Perfect hidden gem just 45 minutes from Los Angeles. We had never been here before and decided to take the weekend tour and it was a day well spent. Be sure to book well in advance as the tours fill up quickly. Our guide was fun, and we were welcomed with a tasting at 11am, but it's 5:00 somewhere, right? After our group was checked in, off we went to learn about the process of wine making. It was very informative and many tastings along the way. The grounds are beautiful with zebras, lamas, sheep, chickens and many more animals around. The vines are all starting to sprout grapes and it's beautiful. The game of horseshoes is available and is really fun, wear a hat and sunscreen as it gets really hot out there. At the end of our tour we were all handed lunch and the option to taste more wines or to purchase a bottle of wine. We opted for a bottle and sat out in the vineyard. It was a lovely day and makes for the most perfect date! We highly recommend a day here, whether you take the tour, or bring a picnic lunch and buy a bottle of wine, you will have the best time! Cheers!
I came here for the second time on a Groupon that includes a tasting, wine tour, and a lunch. Steve led the tour with passion and humour and offered a lot of fun takes on the wine business. This place uses Groupon to expose themselves to wine lovers who may not know about the vineyards out in the desert. Smart move and I enjoyed both tours. The second time I feel like the wine was especially good. The area behind the winery is open for picnicking and even has farm animals to chat with. I brought my two kids and they were busy scampering around and climbing on an old tractor. This left my friend and I free to enjoy and our wine and the quiet of the vineyard. Enjoyed it very much and marked my calendar for Stompfest in 2025.

We got the Groupon deal for this winery,we live nearby and we decided to give it a try and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised,it was worth every penny. We are avid wine drinkers and visit wineries often. The service is great, the tour was very fun and informative,Steve is nice and knowledgeable. Their wines are solid, all of them, especially the reds. They have plenty of picnic tables and you can bring your own food Their lobby/tasting room has a big variety of snacks and merchandise to take home and the people working there are helpful. We'll be back soon to enjoy their wine and perhaps join one of their fall events. read more

Driving up to this location is beautiful! The scenery is wonderful, and once you arrive, it has such a nice rustic vibe. We went in for the wine tasting, which comes with five wines: one white, one rosé, and three reds. Their wines are definitely on the drier side. I really enjoyed their reds and their Chardonnay. They also have a cute little shop inside with snacks and gift options. I picked up some crackers and organic raspberry Red Vines, which was a fun little bonus. The downside for me was the tasting experience. Tastings are done at the counter, so we had to stand at the bar while tasting, even though there is plenty of beautiful seating throughout the property. There were three people working behind the bar. The two helpers were very kind, friendly, and seemed like they were learning the ropes. Unfortunately, the woman with the long black, curly/wavy hair seemed to be running the show, and her personality really put a damper on our experience. She came across as extremely cold and unwelcoming, and honestly looked like she didn't want to be there, girl looks miserable. We didn't stay after the tasting. I really like being able to relax and enjoy my time at a winery, and when the service feels unwelcoming, it takes away from the experience for me. I was there with two friends and was actually considering celebrating my birthday there, but I couldn't see myself spending more time in that atmosphere. So we decided to leave and head up the street to Reyes Winery...and honestly, I'm SO happy we did! If you're interested, head over to my Yelp and check out my review of Reyes Winery. The difference in the experience was night and day! read more

What a lovely experience. We were treated well and enjoyed our wine. They have a fun selection of snacks if you don't bring your own food. Eating outside, under the trees was wonderful. Absolute green therapy! We paid their farm animals a visit, which was a mixed experience. I'm not sure if it was a one-day, but by the condition of their chickens, llama, off of feces around the donkeys and llama, and lack of fresh and clean water, we became concerned. I sent them a note on their website regarding this and hope they've seen and give their animals some TLC. read more

Despite the heat, we had a pleasant time touring the little Agua Dulce winery and wine tasting thanks to Steve who was very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. The customer experience is definitely enhanced when you are greeted by people who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do as they share it with you. After the tour, we were able to freely walk around and have lunch outside in great company (alpacas and more). I would recommend this winery for an afternoon getaway. read more
This was my first time going on a winery tour and it was everything I hoped for! I learned SO much about how wine is made. (I got my ticket through Groupon) When you first walk into their main building, you're welcomed by SO many cute wine items! It's their gift shop and I wanted to buy everything! (they know what they're doing haha) Let me tell you, before I even tried any wine, their honey SOLD ME! Best honey I've ever had. Again, the tour was fantastic. We got to see some animals! The photo ops were stunning and I laughed way too hard at their ode to I Love Lucy. The episode where they stomped grapes. It's a relatively close place to LA where you feel like you're in another world. I was able to just BREATHE! What a wonderful place to recharge. read more

This is a great little winery. If you're in the area!! the grounds are pretty they have a nice gift shop when you walk in. And we got the wine flight and it has six tasters. The rosé was the best. The service was so so the man though that helped us towards the end was great. I don't remember his name. I ended up buying two bottles of the rosé and a gift for a friend so it was definitely worth the drive. I live in the San Fernando Valley so it's about 40 minutes away read more

AMAZING STAFF & SERVICE, me & my godmother did the Groupon deal with the tour. It was so much fun, learned a lot about how they make their wine & we will definitely be coming back. I want to thank the lady upfront for being so sweet wish I got her name & the man who did the tour was so kind. read more

Loved the wine tasting tour! Got a Groupon on sale for around $30 which included a 1 hour tour (from grape to bottle), 6 wine samples, water, a picnic lunch for 2, plus 2 souvenir wine glasses. What a great deal! It was a beautiful vineyard, with lots of picnic tables, gazebos & a mini farm with alpacas, goats, chickens, roosters & a mini horse. There were also people including families visiting, who were not part of the tour, who brought their own picnics. They sell wine bottles or a glass of wine you can enjoy during your visit. They're closed Mon & Tues, and their Groupon wine tasting tours are only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tours start at 12p and picnic at 1p. read more

We love this winery!!! Drove 40 minutes from Los Angeles to this quaint place on a Sunday. The parking lot was full so we were wary about the crowd, however it was for naught. Agua Dolce has a wonderful Chardonnay but they were out this trip so we tried the White Zinfandel at the suggestion of Hannah. We were not disappointed. By the way, Hannah has the personality of a saint. She was warm and cheerful to everyone who came up to the front desk. Took a walk around the premises (photos attached). If you haven't been here, the grounds are beautiful and the animals are well taken care of. You can't pet or feed them, but they still get close enough to enjoy their beauty. The drive is worth the visit. 5-stars read more
This review is for their "Mothers Day Celebration" Was very hesitant to leave this review but this is for anyone thinking and wondering for the next future Mother's Day. We came here because 1) my mom loves it here (we've been coming here for years) and my mom is a member and 2) their AD sounded amazing, something right up our alley, "..a picnic basket filled with cheeses, salami spreads, baguettes (plural), olives, nuts, + more". Thinking straight up charcuterie board type of thing, right? Let me tell you..DISAPPOINTMENT is an understatement. $60...A PERSON!!! (And there was 4 of us) for what we got..truly thought they were kidding. Total rip-off, not worth it! Especially when on their Instagram they post boxes from @chy_cuterie and you see her small business offers $60 boxes for 4 people and is wayyyy much better and cuter than what we received, I would have rather ordered from her and spent the rest of the tab on wine bottles. read more

Went with the girls for a day out and was NOT disappointed. Jake was great in saving us money by the bottle not by the glass. Steve was very friendly and made sure everyone was helped and taken care of. The ambiance of the patio and outside seating playing area was beautiful. You need to pack your own food and or picnic but there is so much for all ages to enjoy. Lots of room for your kids to run around. Some people had dogs. There was some animals in the back part like a farm. And your welcome to walk the vines. Truly a great tasting and can't wait to see it in season! We will be back. read more

Is this place dog friendly?
Yes, but I believe they must be on leash. They also have a farm animals
Hello does anybody know how much they charge for a birthday party for around 10-20 people?. I have sent out a request form to them but have yet to hear back from them.
If you wish to use the gazebo or the inside room behind the tasting room, you need to reserve and pay a fee. However, we held my daughter-in-law's 30th there with about 20 people and set up at the picnic tables in front of the farm. Members can use…
