1,000,000 stars isn't enough. I attended the health Clinic (free/sliding scale or low cost) & it changed my life because I saw immediate results for improved health, of mind and body.
I was first introduced to the concept of Ayurveda by attending a free Sangha on Sunday (which they hold once a month), where their is an amazing lecture, a cooking demo, then a pot luck after. Then I realized they also have a Satsang on Thursday where we discussed Vedanta and heard the age old teachings passed down from the ancient lineage of our teacher. I had never heard about any of this before Vedika, and from that day on, as a chef and interested in the healing arts, I was totally enamored and needed to know more so I could share it with the world.
Quickly, I was addicted and so I signed up for two months self-care program, where one can learn how to implement all of these things in their home life and better understand how to care for yourself through diet, seasonal cooking of foods with specific spices and herbs, beautiful yoga, chanting, prayer, body oiling, seasonal changes and meditation.
Well, 2 month wasn't long enough, so I did the 1 year program, and let me just say I am a different person, in the best possible way, inside and out. I am a chef and am happy to say this has completely changed my relationship with food, cooking and eating, as well as my desire to serve others. I will carry this with me for the rest of my life!
A thousand thank you's to my amazing blessed teachers, all the amazing recipes and food, the inviting and safe space, and all of my fellow students who taught me so much. I will continue to support Vedika and attend whenever possible, and carry the message of "health as our birthright" to all.
How come we don't any other reviews here people?!
