I'm disabled, and though I was a fairly new customer, he could see I was struggling with the heavy bag and offered to carry my bag to my car. Always nice, calls me by name (and my dog Cookie) The store is the most amazing liquor store I think I've ever seen. They have an outrageous selection of alcohol ...I didn't really drink much before covid-19 but for some reason I took to having a drink with dinner now. I saw a bottle on the top shelf with a rather high price tag... (over $1k) and asked about it...and he gave me the story. Only thing is, if you need something other than alcohol or drinks, they probably won't have it. (no ant bait traps) ...so they are pretty much strictly a liquor store...but that's ok, cause that's what they are. Next time I'll add a photo...didn't think of it today.

I love smashburgers and I was excited to find another eatery near my work as restaurants are pretty limited on this side of town. They were a little behind schedule opening but went ahead and took my order shortly after 12. At that point there were a handful of other people waiting and I was the first to put my order through. I opted for the double smash burger without pickles and the cheese sauce on the side. The lady who took my order was very friendly and a few minutes after ordering, handed me one of those buzzers that will go off when my order is ready. She let me know it would be a little bit because of the fries...I had no issue with that, however, it was NOT "a little bit." It was THIRTY SEVEN minutes from the time I paid to when my order was ready. Almost my entire lunch break was gone by the time I got back to work. I feel it was wrong not to tell me up front before I paid that it was going to be over half an hour wait. There also wasn't really much acknowledgement of how long the wait was when I picked up my order. I would have gone somewhere else had I known that it would be such a long wait. Once I finally got back to work to eat my food, I definitely enjoyed the burger. The grilled onions were a nice touch and it was flavorful. I found myself craving a nice piece of crisp lettuce though...it would have made it much better. The fries unfortunately, were horrible. They were so overly fried and greasy I had two and threw out the rest. I have never done that before and the fact that I waited 37 minutes for those fries made it sting even more. It also wasn't cheap at $18 for the burger and fries. I have never had french fries before with that kind of fried texture...it was very strange to me. I would come back for the smash burger if they made it an option to order without the fries. Maybe some people like their fries like this but I just couldn't stomach them.
