John gave me an affordable quote and has been extremely knowledgeable about pool maintenance and repairs. I've used Nu Wind for a month now and they've always been reliable and takes time to answer questions I have. Plus, my pool always looks amazing when he leaves. I don't know why there aren't more positive reviews but I'm happy to be the first. I highly recommend John to take care of your pool. He's awesome!

I was so worried we were going to have to drain and refill the pool, but Kaleb did an awesome job and was able to quickly fix our problem before it got any worse! We hired them on for monthly service (since we weren't doing the best at maintenance) and they just keep impressing me! Kaleb has kindly helped me with minor repairs and maintenance on the pool that is above and beyond what I expect from a monthly pool service. This company is great and we will definitely be keeping them around! Highly recommended!

I reached out by text to let the owner know and to give them an opportunity to come back and address the issue, but I have not received a response. I understand that things can happen during a service, and I would have been happy to work with them to resolve it. What has been disappointing is being ignored after bringing the concern to their attention. The actual pressure washing was good, but customer service and follow-up are also important. I hope the company will improve communication with customers when an issue is reported.

Jared, Matt, and the rest of their team are all very friendly, helpful, and (most importantly) care about their customers' needs. And while they could charge a premium for the quality and dependability they provide, their rates for cleaning and maintenance are less expensive than most of the larger companies with undertrained employees and management that sees each customer as a paycheck instead of a person. If you live in Pearland or the surrounding areas I highly recommend calling Houston Area Pools for help with anything involving swimming pools.

Please be careful and do your research when you hire people who are advertising services, make sure that they are licensed and insured. One of those employees took several chunks out of my driveway with their power wash machine and left standing water and quite a bit of sediment left over from the chemicals used .. Make sure there are no complaints against them. Make sure you ask plenty of questions. You make sure you monitor them while they are working on your home and if you see areas that they missed or didn't cover areas that you agreed upon -Make sure that you get them to get it done before you pay them.. I should have hired the man who I originally hired until this person stepped and a quoted a lesser amount but charged the same . That should've been a red flag when i told him someone else for the job.. he still insisted he can charge less etc.. I have already begun a process to make sure that they are held accountable. I only asked for $150 to be returned to me but they would not.

Allen drove 1.5 hours to our rental property in spring. He inspected our house and realized he's going to need to treat the mold on the windows, to which he drove 30 minutes back and forth to Home Depot to get the proper treatment. Then he got to work on the driveway and boy was it spotless, almost 10+ years of dirt/mildew and god knows what else. He also drove back once everything was dry a day after to clean the backyard concrete. His pricing was really fair so I decided to get both front and back cleaned up. The neighbors liked his work too and hired him next! I highly recommend requesting a quote, I sent a picture on yelp and they were able to give me a quote that way and honored it in person without selling me on other things.
