    Excellent VET !! My 2 year old Boxer has a heart murmur and they have helped me get ahead of it. Thank you for taking care of my girl !!

    went there last night and for an emergency they were very quick and nice. The lobby was very clean and they even had snacks and coffee etc. The facility was very clean and very organized. They doctor and technicians took my dog right in and they were very helpful. Followed up with my primary as well!

    My beautiful boy Adam had to be put down last night. He had a level 5 heard condition. He would not lie down and was coughing. I went to VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center around 3:00 am. Aleathea was very kind to me at the front desk. Dr Brown was so caring. They gave Adam fluids before the procedure. I will come back to this VCA. I am very picky about vets and this one impressed me.

    My dog Carina has mass on her body. Before the removal surgery, my primary vet asked me to do ultrasound. I had an appointment at 3p but had to wait like 40min. I think it's very common at any vet for longer wait. Dr.Waithe was nice and helped me for answering my questions. Ultrasound price was reasonable. Yes I would recommend this vet for others.

    I have so much gratitude for Dr. Wang and her staff! Thank you for giving my dog Trixie back her vision. It means everything and you handled her with such care! I took Trixie to Dr. Wang when she suddenly lost her vision and my Vet said I needed to see a specialist. Trixie had an ulcer in her eye. It took some time and patience for her to heal, but she has healed. I trusted Dr. Wang and watched her treat Trixie. Dr. Wang explained everything to me and what I could expect. Also, the parking is easy! The staff is friendly and prompt! They have coffee too! Thank you again Dr. Wang! Cori and Trixie

Everywhere else quoted me thousands of dollars, and I simply couldn't afford it. I was even considering going to Mexico before finding this place. From the moment I contacted them, they were kind and understanding. They removed my dog's mass and also did a dental cleaning ...and the pricing was something I could actually afford. What meant the most to me was how comfortable my dog felt. Every other vet visit, he would shake from fear. This was the first time in his 10 years that he didn't shake at all. He was calm and relaxed, and that truly says everything about how they treat their patients. I drove from Diamond Bar, and my brother-in-law drove from the Valley and tbh it was absolutely worth it. I'm beyond grateful for the entire team. I wish all vet clinics were like this. Thank you for taking such great care of my dog during such a stressful time.

Dr Bierens performed 2 surgeries on one of my dogs, Dr Marchan a surgery on another and countless of other visits and procedures with other doctors. Just wonderful. Today however I came it to vaccinate my kitten having been scheduled. One of the receptionists who checked me in said I was not on the schedule and told me it would be considered an emergency visit and would cost me $100 additionally saying they were fully booked (I was the only person in the lobby). I explained that I did call and schedule and got this date and time Was not my fault. She was not very friendly and didn't even try to show some grace, into account take into account they made an error or look at our history of several thousand dollars and several pets over several years. She just said "well you are not on the schedule" like it was my fault therefore I'm being punished having to pay an additional $100. I've never had problems with any of these girls upfront before. I agreed to the extra fee, knowing I myself would explain to and ask Dr Marchan if he could waive the emergency fee. It's his practice AND he's familiar with us and our pets, so of course he said yes without any hesitation. I just feel like in this case a little bit of customer service on this particular receptionist's part would've gone a long way. Thankful to Dr. Marchan and his dedication.

Dr Ravi did the surgery and we appreciated the follow-up. Dr Lee and Dr Kerr also provided great support. Because Byron has IBD his symptoms could have been dismissed as part of his condition. When signing the documents for ashes I specified 5 times that I wanted my cats ashes back, she was so upset she wasn't paying attention and charged me about 400 and I told her I want my cats ashes back you are billing me incorrectly and so she corrected the mistake. Fast forward weeks I never received my cat back, I called the clinic and they kept avoiding me I requested a call back from the manager. So he called me back and before I got a chance to greet him he was attacking me saying that I better be professional and stay calm, he was so unbelievably aggressive it's disgusting. Then he told me I would be getting a refund of 50 dollars because I was billed incorrectly. . .i said you didn't bill me incorrectly you billed me for my cats ashes that I requested to receive and he started getting upset saying no that it was only a billing issue. I never got my cat back and he was only a baby. To know that he was burn and his ashes mixed with all the other unclaimed pets pains every day. I sincerely wish the absolute worst to the manager and every terrible person at that place. Please listen to all the bad reviews!!!

After…read moreevery test done possible and charging me a massive amount of money, they couldn't find anything wrong. Xray supposedly didn't show them anything. I picked him up hours later and they stated my dog was given a shot for nausea and told us to feed him food for a sensitive stomach. My dog seemed fine for a couple days, but once the vomiting started again I found another vet and took him in. Within 30 min the new vet found an object stuck within the esophagus likely causing these problems. We were referred to a surgeon and took him the next morning. Had we not done that the surgeon said my dog would likely not have made it. I get every visit and dr are different, but this is crazy to not see what the 2nd dr saw immediately. As my dog is now in recovery, my husband went back to PetSmart, where Banfield is located in, to find prescribed food for my dogs bland diet. He asked the two staff members at the Banfield desk for help and they stopped their chatting to rudely tell him they don't know where that food would be and they don't work for the store. They then went back to their chatting. I will never go to Banfield ever again and I will tell every person I come into contact with who has a pet to never go here. I will repeat my story so people know this is not a trusted veterinary clinic for your loving animals. This is not a place where caring people work to DO THEIR JOBS. You may not be a PetSmart employee, but you all know where prescribed food is located. I know because one of you literally walked me to that aisle to show me where the expensive sensitive stomach prescribed food was. What a horrible experience. My family has been going to PetSmart for more than a decade. We will never come back thanks to this experience.

No one should know my dogs better than Dr. Hudson. Please explain to me how a licensed VET misses cancer in BOTH of my dogs when he saw them in October. My 6 year old was diagnosed by VCA coast with thyroid carcinoma that had been slow growing for a while. Dr. Hudson passed it off as a benign lypoma. Even though that tumor was successfully removed by VCA west, the tumor had grown close to a vein and they are cancer cells now in his bloodstream so within the next year, I will have to say goodbye to my boy. That was in February 2026 Not even a month later my 8 year old who had been vomiting, which they have only ever prescribed cat furball medication for was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. There were tumors in his lungs, the size of a grapefruit. Apparently, I've been there for some time and any qualified doctor would have recognized it. By listening to my dog's breathing, but not Banfield. I had to say goodbye to m my beautiful boy yesterday. If I could sue this group for malpractice, I would. They should lose whatever licensing they have. Take your money and run for the hills. Do not trust these people with your pets because they do not care. All they care about is getting your monthly wellness plan.

One thing I will say is getting my dog back was hell. I called ahead of time to let them know I want her back, waited there for an hour. Yessi one of the vet techs even came out and basically yelled at me in front of people in the lobby. Again, they have my service dog in the back who's stressing and not working and I'm stressing and probably need her to work because I was actually in medical emergency. I ended up going to the emergency room myself that night for the day I had.. I digress.. eventually the manager came out with my dog and apologized for not bringing her out sooner since she is a working dog but the damage was done. I am very grateful for the vet at mash and i am torn that it ended in Chaos.. Getting my dogs test results emailed to me was also hell, I was told they will only give it to another vet.. very very odd behavior. My dog, my money for the test and I had to basically pry it from them.. I don't understand what happened after I wanted my dog back that made them make everything a mess but..still.. If you're here trying to figure out if you should bring your pet here, yes. I recommend them. They will be honest and save your pet.. at a high price.. Maybe that whole day wasn't my day. Maybe that's the price I paid to get honest answers and to be told my dogs not gonna die. Either way, the vet was honest and that is more than we can ask for these days when it comes to vet care. And I was happy.. as I'd taken my dog there for a few emergencies and while I cant say that the customer experience was outstanding given the nature of any er visit that involves wait time, case being disregarded or downplayed, and sticker shock - the front desk had been quite accomodating. Then they hired more of these gen-zers at the front desk who just dont give an eff.. for example I was waiting 2 hrs to get an update. Just and update. Like what is going on with my dog. I followed up after 30 minutes, she went to check came back to me in 20 and said someone is gonna come update you soon. I waited another 20 minutes, asked again -- same exact answer from the same exact lady and in 10 or 15 more minutes I stormed towards the area where they keep the dogs and that same madame goes you cant go in there. i exploded on her and demanded they get me my my dog right now. turned out they heavily sedated him without my consent to give him the medicine. he could not walk and looked sleepy for hours. I understand that my dog can be difficult but.. a. consent. b. tell me what's going on! i could have just went home and came back when he was ready if the lady did her job instead of gossiping and laughing with her coworkers. I can understand and forgive many circumstances but this isnt the way to keep the repeat business. our insurance carrier paid about 15k for a few visits. I also saw a poor old lady who was charged 5k to diagnose her dying cat and I had to translate for her. No matter how much I tried to help they wouldnt budge. She couldnt believe that. That was her 2 social security checks. She weeped, she cursed them and threw the credit card at. This kind of treatment deserves the hottest chamber in hell, and I genuinely hope they shut down in the most humiliating way.
