I paid $350 deposit for an online tax prep meeting so I will have to dispute charge with my credit card to get my money back! Stay away! Edit: Taxlana returned my $350 deposit. I did not get my taxes done by them so I cannot comment on that. But the experience of not being able to reach this company by phone or other and the location listed is not legit. But I cannot give a review positive or negative on the quality of tax prep by this company.

At the initial meeting, we discussed our financial goals and subsequently provided requested information for the plan.  Once the plan was prepared we had another meeting to review the plan including action items for us to perform.  This included things like rebalancing 401(k) and other investments in addition to other action items to complete.  We do annual checkup planning meeting with Planning Within Reach and find the discipline very helpful to stay on track with financial goals. After their prompt response by a real person to set up an appointment, I decided to take down my review to potentially leave a better one if things went well. I was scheduled for an appointment about a week out, and at the time of the appointment, I called the number and received another virtual assistant (not AI to my knowledge), who told me that the person I had the appointment with was on another call. I left my number and was never contacted, until about 3 weeks later, by email calendar invite, telling me that another appointment had been set up in another week or two. I already got my issues handled by another CPA and will be working with that other firm in the future. I hope this firm here gets their virtuals and artificials straightened out soon
