I had five days two days consumed completely by travel so three days in Ridgecrest to lay my father to rest and clear out his apartment. I did the best that I could with the time that I had available to me. I was contacted just yesterday by a real estate agent. She said she was just a real estate agent, and that she was calling on behalf of the owner of the company. She asked me questions about my father's apartment. I told her it was cleared out the best that I could with the time that I had and that the apartment was ready to be turned back over to them. She was upset about the state of the apartment and I understand that. It was still quite a mess. I did what I could with the time that I had, like I said. I didn't realize it was that dirty. Though my father did live in it for more than 10 years, so I guess that's to be expected to a degree. Christine was very angry at me when she talk to me on the phone she was threatening. about additional fees that I had to pay I told her that I was in the middle of the process of probate to gain access to my father's bank account, which is really the only thing of any value that he left behind and that once I gained access to the bank account I would be happy to pay her the money out of it. other than that, I mentioned that he also had a deposit with her and that my name was not on the lease and that she should not be threatening me with legal action. She was still pretending to be a manager at the company she told me that she would talk to the owner of the company and that he would reach out to me five minutes after hanging up the phone she sent me this disgusting unprofessional hurtful text message with pictures of my father's apartment saying "this is how you choose to honor his memory?" it is justifiable to be upset about the state of the apartment and the extra fees that may be involved however, it is extremely unprofessional and almost in human to send such a text while I am grieving the loss of my best friend of over 40 years. She had no sympathy. shame on Christine Dosen. Please be careful while dealing with her because she's going to victimize you if she can.

When Eloy says he offered to have another agent take over (see his response on Google Review, link…read moreis crazy long to post here) he didn't mention that he wanted a referral bonus so high that no one was willing to take it over. I have talked to 4 different people and none of them are willing to do it at the price that Eloy wants to give them. I didn't mention Eloy calling to apologize for the missed calls and email because: 1) He never called-- he sent me a snarky text message, 2) The experience I recounted was the 1st time that Eloy went off the grid with no contact from him (he which he never apologized for). The experience Eloy is talking about is the 2nd time he went off the grid with no contact (his story does not make sense either because it was both me and the loan officer trying to get a hold of him...well maybe he blocked both of us). The area is slammed with house purchases so there was definitely delays on getting qualified people out to do work for both us and the seller, but those where not my problems that caused me to give Eloy a bad review. It would take to much time to go into each individual problem I had and that is not the purpose of my review. I personally had a horrible experience with Eloy as my buying agent. When I talk to people in Ridgecrest about it, I have not met many people that have had good experiences with him. I would just suggest talking to actual people (other agents, inspectors, contractors, the local realtor association) in the area before making your decision and not just going off of online reviews like we did. And just remember that with any one man shop that there is no manager, boss, or partner to turn to if you are having a bad experience.

My wife (Stacie H) wrote a review earlier about Eloy and I just had an update that I needed people…read moreto know about. When Eloy said, "I offered them an opportunity to select another agent if they wished" he did so at such a high referral bonus that no one was willing/able to take over. In order to broker a deal I promised "to hold RR harmless against past and future liabilities with regards to the transaction. In addition the buyers will amend or retract all posted reviews and ratings such that they will reflect the matter as 'satisfied amicably' or removed. Satisfied amicably will mean at least 3 stars per category." We did so and as you can see Eloy has his 3 stars. He is now demanding that I also leave"a comment that our transaction was concluded amicably" which was never part of the deal. When I told him no he would "file suit then I will record a 'lens pendens' gives notice that a legal matters is at issue and no lender or title company will close until our matter is resolved." Lis Pendens (no n) can stop the seller from selling a home, but has no effect on the buyer (which I am). I am sure that Eloy knows this and is just trying to scare me into caving. If you get anything from my review it would be to use online reviews to find your top 3 agents, but ask some local people before deciding on who you will go with. How you portray yourself online could be a lot different that in real life.

First off I want to say if you are looking for an honest realtor that will fight for you no matter…read morewhat, DO NOT work with Fong Tidwell. Working with her for almost 2 years, I can say she is only interested in her own self gain. She intermediated between a deal with a potential buyer without consent to try and dissuade the buyer because the price for her was too low, nearly ruining my mother's chance for retirement after running the business for 40 years. She is very unprofessional and will speak ill of you behind your back. She told my mother her children were USELESS! When we are the owners of the business just trying to sell the business so that my mother could retire. To this day I still think of this woman as an evil person, the likes of which I will never do business with again, and hope nobody will have the displeasure of also dealing with... PERIOD.

If I could give negative stars I would. Let me preface this by saying my current landlord is…read moreraising my rent almost 200% over the next few months, and is selling the property, which has caused me to look for other lodgings, so I was looking at more affordable areas. Also, going in, I knew my credit was not perfect but it was not bottom barrel either, so I happened upon a few properties on a few different websites (zumper, zwillow, trulia, etc...) and they were managed or being represented by this rental agency. I found one that I really liked and since I had the qualifications, I applied. I am very transparent, and understood that my credit was not stupendous, but I have been working on it, and formerly worked for a company that was involved in a major information leak, and some items were opened fraudulently in my name. I have been working to get them removed and let the rental agency know that and even provided a letter that was supplied to me by that employer after the hack happened. All other qualifications were met, and I was willing to put down a doubled deposit and/or a few month's rent in advance to show that I was serious about renting the property. I have a stable job and work from home, so I thought it ideal. One of their associates reached out me a day after I submitted my application to ask some questions, to which I answered promptly. I waited, and then on the 4th day, I reached out to check on the status, to which I was told I was approved by the homeowner (see screenshots). I was elated, and relieved and was about to call them to find out next steps, when a property manager by the name of Sherrie called me. She said that my approval was a "mistake" and that the homeowner actually denied my application. She proceeds to ask me "have you seen what is on your credit report?" to which I replied yes and that I had a copy of the background check that they had run on me. She seemed shocked and surprised by this, and went on to say that she had been on vacation and some her underlings had been trying to take care of things while she was away and she had just gotten back and that it was a miscommunication. Really? Nice training you have there. She also went on to say that the homeowner was worried about getting the rent on time. I have been at my current address for 5 years, and never missed one single payment and had they actually talked to my landlord, they would have known that. Not to mention I could have given them bank statements showing one account having at least 12,000 bucks in it. The landlord would have been paid, and promptly. Guess they judged a book by its cover, instead of reading the back too. SMH. Needless to say, I was crestfallen and just could not believe the incompetency shown here, not to mention she was not apologetic in any way that one of her employees made such a monumental mistake. As if home hunting is not stressful enough. Maybe I dodged a bullet, so I am putting this up so others can beware. I would not recommend this agency, and be warned that most of the other agencies are in cahoots with them, because Sherrie advised that if I wanted to apply to any other agency to contact them first so they could send my application over to them. Why would I trust you to do that after telling me a got approved when I didn't? Your office cannot seem to get simple messages right so how could I trust you from this point on? Additionally, I found out that they never reached out to any of my references or supervisor (I checked) so I suppose they saw my 640 score and dismissed me immediately. Not even sure if they really told the homeowner, because judging by the texts, they were actually interested in me as a candidate. I would not be surprised if they told her I had just withdrawn my application. SO be warned. This place seems a bit shady and at the very least not thorough and gives false hope.
