Sprawling greens, club area, rich old people, daddies (lol), a Golf Shop and ample parking space. My car felt a little out of place parked between a Lexus and Mercedes and among all the other luxury cars in the parking lot. The employees at Islington Golf Club and the Golf Shop are wonderful, hospitable people. And they clearly know a lot about golf, without being condescending. I don't know if I'll have another chance to come back here. But I sure want to try my hand at Golf now.

For this review.. just posting about my favourite class at LA Fitness in Vaughan…read more I'm a big fan of Ashley's classes for Zumba at LA Fitness in Vaughan. I enjoy going to her classes so much that I will wake up early every Saturday and Sunday mornings just for these classes and I don't even live in Vaughan. Been going to Ashley's classes for the past 6 years I love Ashley's choice of upbeat music and choreography. It's fast paced with a combination of dance and fitness. Be prepared to work up a sweat! It is always packed. If you want a spot near the front then go at least 15 minutes earlier than the start time. Otherwise be prepared to be at the very back. You will LOVE her energy. I give this instructor 5 Stars! As for the gym I do not use any of the other amenities. When checking at the desk, I do find the people at the desk not at all friendly. Not a hello or any kind of acknowledgement. Obviously they do not want to be there. So because of that ... I unfortunately have to give the rating of 3 stars for this consistent experience.

A Complete Waste of Money - Avoid This Gym!…read more I wish I could post photos to truly show how disappointing this gym is. The facility is outdated, poorly maintained, and honestly feels like a cash grab. It's shocking that no one has stepped up to open a competing gym in the area. The staff? Let's just say you get what you pay for--or in this case, what you don't pay for. The team seems overworked, underpaid, and completely unmotivated. Their attitudes reflect the environment: miserable, unfriendly, and frankly, depressing. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your fitness needs. This gym clearly doesn't value its members--or its staff.

The owners/managers are very arrogant, acting like the place is such a big hit, while in fact it'x empty and they're begging for customers, they cut their hours, close on Sunday and cut off many of their classes... Aside from all that, the price is jacked up at $100+tax per month on a 3 months contract, and $75 plus tax on a 1 year contact! In addition, they have no sauna, no steam room, no pools, and the place looks and feels very dirty and outdated. Personal training add-ons is pushed on you very aggressively, at about $35/$40 per session.

My 4 year old daughter enjoyed doing her swimming lessons- the teachers were young and connected really well with the kids.
