Bryan and George taught him how to take tests. They evaluated his weaknesses and strengths and each week we saw improvement in his ability and self-confidence. Due to Covid so many tests were cancelled. He was only able to take the ACT once but he felt prepared. He just received his results and we are beyond pleased. His composite score increased by 6 points from the diagnostic. We signed on to assist in taking college entrance exams but got so much more. My son felt his test taking in high school also improved. I have called more than six times requesting a refund and have spoken with Corrine as well as Toni T., the Escalation Manager, multiple times. Despite the fact that no services were provided, they have refused to issue a refund. Instead, I have been repeatedly given the runaround and told there are "no refunds," a policy that was never clearly communicated to me at any point. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this tutoring service to anyone.

He also has a friendly and patient manner and we worked together as equals to fix my problem spots. The value for the money is also very good relative to other organizations in the NY area. The one-on-one tutoring made it possible for my tutor and I to focus on the areas of the test that I needed help on, not the areas that the other 15 kids in the room were struggling with which was way more efficient. He was able to answer all of my questions in a way that made sense, and he didn't waste time explaining the cookie cutter 'tips and tricks' that other classes and tutors are taught to. My tutor understood that I had my own way of learning and made accommodations so that we utilized our time effectively.
