I bought tickets for a movie showing at 8:20pm. After arriving to the movie theater the doors were locked and the theater appeared to be closed. There was no sign anywhere saying that it was closed and nothing on their website. Even after checking their Instagram and Facebook there was zero update on why the theater was not open during our showtime. Now Im struggling to get a refund through Fandango due to the time of day it is. This is very inconvenient and unreliable.

Science fiction double feature Doctor X will build a creature See androids fighting, Brad and Janet Anne Francis stars in Forbidden Planet At the late night, double feature, picture show In the back row.... The Varsity Theater is the place to go in Davis to see art house, foreign and independent films on 1 of their 2 screens. This Movie House is also one of those "Streamline Moderne" architectural landmarks that had my full attention at first sight and watch.

Small local theatre in Davis. Clean, comfortable with stadium seating. Easily accessible downtown location. A lovely surprise!

My husband is an A24 member, so his was free. My husband asked the 2 emps who was checking tickets. One guy pointed to the other and said "him", but neither of them did. We proceeded to theater #2 but decided to sit up higher due to the previous issues we had last time. There were a lot more people this time, so we found our seats & sat down in the very slender fabric cushioned seats with a stiff fabric covered metal back. Once the 30 mins of TV commercials & a few trailers ended the movie finally started. A person came in and sat right behind me and proceeded to eat popcorn loudly which was quite annoying, and the movie was pretty quite most of the time. The A/C kicked on/off several times, but didn't seem to bother me as much this time, so maybe they actually changed the filters. I did use the women's restroom which was fairly clean, & the old hard water stains were gone, so it appears someone must be reading these reviews, which is wonderful. I was lucky to be able to use the handicapped stall since the other stalls are way too small, and I'm not a big person at all.

Now I'm not gonna sugar code it that scared the HELL out of me not by the zombies but by how fast the truck drives through that field. You can't move your paintball gun side to side but other people apparently could so mine was jammed. And I didn't have any time to fix it. When you it stopped where the zombies were they would run and hide so you couldn't really shoot them especially with a paintball gun that barely movies. Just the for for 6 minutes then you were off getting WHIPPED around soooooo fast in this truck HOLY MACAROL I truly was scared it was going to flip I've been in my fair share of car accidents and that one felt dangerous as shit! Had rough whiplash the next day. I'm blessed to make it out ok especially with my internal healing surgery I was like uh oh this is bumpy but I did ok no pain. Shout out to the girl working on the ride LOVED the blonde and forgot her name but she was great! We bought more bullets but didn't get to use them! Because you can't move your gun so there's nothing to shoot at, So don't do the extended clip. And you only get to go on it once, and they cut your bracelet off at the front of the ride no matter how much you pay with the booking fee. They also tell you to scream when you come back to the line so it makes it look fun/scary who knows. So is it worth the hype everyone says? No lol but it was fun but scary.. Now the medical haunted house was FUN! I loved that, it was probably my favorite time and I loved the scare actors in that house. A lot of funny girls in character and that was funny to see. Now the clown haunted house I did NOT like because why were there a bunch of military men screaming at you non stop to go and not just pop out and scare you? That's not a haunted house that's just men looking to take their anger out on random people by following them around screaming at them. The girl female were good though and that wasn't all of them but I'd avoid that house at all costs unless you want to be screamed at "GO GO GO" and followed like you're in the military even if you're already walking wth? No thanks lol The haunted corn maze we didn't do, over all I was exhausting of everything. I did have a palm reader which was fun and ALSO got a cute Halloween sweatshirt from one of the vendors there but to not see that many people there was interesting I think I could only could 2 to 3 clowns walking around scaring the few crowds people that were there. The haunted houses had absolutely no lines. And we were there the whole time. It was a Friday maybe Saturday nights are a little busier but I guess I had higher expectations for the money paid. But we still all had a fun time. Probably won't be back almost 150$ for very little not very safe rides, it was like a Temu version of HHN but hey! I like trying everything once and especially if it's Halloween themed :)

We headed over to G Street WunderBar located on G street in downtown Davis. We ended up parking on the street-so many parking spots in Davis-so it was no problem. When we walked in,it was quiet, not a lot going on but I knew this was a fun place. Wasn't hard to imagine how much fun this place would be on a Friday or Saturday night in this college town. I asked the bartender lady and she pretty much verified that it gets nutso in there on weekends. This bar has lots of tables and multiple rooms,so they have capacity for many people. They have multiple pool tables and video games in the back room, along with an entirely separate bar back there. They have a big screen projector screen and many small TVs along the bar to accommodate anyone wanting to watch any live sporting event. The Happy Hour here is pretty solid as well,$5 drinks were available. I heard the food here is pretty decent but we weren't here for that-maybe next time. My favorite part of this bar though easily was the bartender-She was such a breath of fresh air,so much personality and her hockey knowledge was amazing-she really made my visit to this bar quite enjoyable. In closing, If you ever find yourself in downtown Davis and need to kill some time or just want a quick drink, don't hesitate to drop by G Street Wunderbar-it's a good time.

Seemed like a nice variety of draft beers to choose from but the drafts werent working so I settled for a bottle of Lucky Buddha. There is a BBQ inside that had some dishes I want to go back and try. I can see myself easily coming into this place to hang out for a couple hours and having a good time
