My hotdog was nice, the bread was a little dry so it was a bit of a pain to eat falling apart all over the place- but I guess this isn't really a problem if you aren't like me insisting on eating burgers and hotdogs with your hands (as was darn well intended!). The menu is small but offers some nice dishes that you would struggle to get anywhere else in town. One issue for me is that the menu just doesn't change frequently enough. On the drink side they do some really fantastic cocktails including a range of Sours. These are my favourite and even get made properly with egg white. It's a stylish place that is definitely worth visiting if you are in town.

Said I wanted a pint of a lightish bitter, he served me Harvest Pale (3.8%abv), it was excellent, good taste for such a light bitter, though when I had sat down I spotted an Adnams pump, and old favourite of mine, indeed I have just driven from East Suffolk where its brewed in Southwold. Their light bitter is 3.7%abv. Nice menu of pub food, then he pointed out special today was Liver and bacon. The large portion came with excellent mash, loads of gravy, peas and onions and was absolutely delicious. The jovial Landlord was good for a bit of a natter, and despite there not being too many people in , there was a nice atmosphere, one of the reasons I used to patronise it in my youth, and it only cost me £8.75 What a lovely experience to go back there

Bar Sports is pub which is well spaced plently of seats and has lots and lots of televisions and i dont mean like 5 i mean like 20 +. Heck they have television in the toilets, you can watch your number one team whilst taking a number 1. The prices are fairly well priced, they dont have special cheap nights but they do sell the lovely guiness red. They also sell food during the day which i have to say is a bit overpriced but its nice but its far from special. I guess its good if you want a snack or something to munch on. I must say though, this place doesnt quite attract as many people as you might think.
