It turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made. Joey Felbab took my case on and immediately had thought of a few different angles that no other attorney has thought of. Impressive! I also appreciate his ability to put actual "work" into the case. I was impressed each time he spoke in the court room, remembering case details, dates, and statutes. He really does put in a lot of effort and trys to examine every possible angle. A big part of being a good attorney is also being likeable. He was able to be seen, be heard, and to communicate his ideas without ever coming off as arrogant. Professionalism and transparent communication across the board. I wholeheartedly recommend Joey and this law firm for anyone who wants to be sure their case has the best outcome. Truly a miracle worker and lifesaver.

At the end…read moreof the day I paid these guys $10 grand on bogus felony charges from a mentally ill kid that lied. My case wasn't resolved they kept telling me that they didn't want to keep bugging the D.A regarding charges that were not filed on my case because they didn't want to bring attention to my name but after terminating this office I received an itemized break down of charges which showed continual contact between the lawyers office and D.A despite him telling me the opposite. Anyways I didn't feel good from jump after having a free eval in office with a guy named Joseph which i explained what happened and the guy makes a smart remark regarding some papers that I showed him where he made mention to me, go on with that! So he was against me from the start. And then I have a second appointment this time with Phil where I came to the office with about $8500 and dropped on the desk and retained his service. And upon looking at my charges he seem disgusted like I really committed the crime. So, I made the mistake in trusting these guys and this office because I was blind sided by all the good things they say on their website. So be careful when choosing attorneys because not all of them have your best interest at hand. Mind you this is the 2nd attorney ive fired because they lie. Simple.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!! Cannot stress enough how unethical…read moreand unprofessional this so-called attorney is. Those 1 stars are the truth. We are filing a formal complaint to the Bar and asking for an investigation. He needs to be disbarred. He is not a lawyer he is a salesman looking to take your money and do the least amount of work possible and then blame YOU, his client, for his mistakes. You are better off doing it yourself than to hire this man. Basically, we had to hire a new lawyer to clean up the numerous and very serious mistakes he made that could cost us to lose our petition. You WANT to read this, seriously save your money for a real attorney. He was hired in April 14, 2019, for a custody modification case, he is provided all the details and information to put together the Petition and submit to the court. April 17th 1st version, names of the respondent, the kids, are spelled wrong. He puts in the wrong parenting schedule request. Ok, I ask him to make some changes... and some more changes, to the point I said I'll write the damn thing myself. So I downloaded the legal form and put the entire document together, for him. Oh I should mention he doesn't have an assistant or anyone to help him. So plan to do all the work you are paying him to do, yourself. So May 2nd comes around: did you get the signed document, not yet, I'll call you tomorrow. May 8th no response, May 9th YAY we got a court date. Here's the actual text: Eddie Lawyer "Guys I have Aug 5 as the new court date and you and ***have ordered to attend mediation." Fantastic 2 months go by, it's July 26. Eddie texts us: how was your mediation on July 24th ? WHAT MEDITATION!! You didn't give us a mediation date (see text above, no date). This is where it just gets unreal. He calls me up and tells me that he told me over the phone that our mediation date was July 24th. Uhm, No I'm sorry you didn't, and we do not have any documents, texts or email saying we did. I told him it was his responsibility to contact prior to the mediation date and prepare us at least send some kind of document. This is what he tells us about providing us with the LEGALLY REQUIRED documentation he didn't provide... "I am not Mr *** personal assistant - I had given you and *** notice over the telephone as to when the parties were ordered to go to mediation. Additionally, as the court docket shows, the court had set a new date and an order to attend mediation. So the burden had fallen squarely on the shoulders of Mr *** to attend". WTF!!! Exactly what is the point of paying for a lawyer if you are the one required to file the paperwork and follow up with the court to get the court/mediation dates as well as all the documentation pertaining to your case?? The Bar Association of California Rule 1.4 : A Lawyer Shall: Keep the client reasonably informed about significant developments relating to the representation, including promptly complying with reasonable requests for information and copies of significant documents when necessary to keep the client so informed. Do your homework, this is not someone you want to trust with your legal matters. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN HE IS A FRAUD!

Title: Coasting means no points!…read more I received a speeding ticket by a police officer who decided that passing a slow car all while traveling the same speed as other cars around you is considered speeding. (Which technically it is) I am not saying I wasn't speeding, but what I am saying is everyone else was speeding too. Why he picked my little Nissan Leaf out of the crowd I do not know. But I later figured out that my little trek down Washington St. was a speed/whatever the copy says it is trap. Later, the same copy gave me a ticket because I turned down a street that had a sign that says do not turn after 6:00am. (I have to admit that I have never even noticed this sign. Also, during the 2 years driving down this street I have turned left numerous times. Not saying I wasn't at fault, just saying that cut me some slack) Why I say cut me some slack? Because one, you already gave me a speeding ticket a few weeks earlier and two, you know I wasn't doing it to be sneaky, because I saw the cop he wasn't hiding. You would think after the other ticket he would be like well since you drive down here a lot I am going to give you a warning. But nope another ticket. Let me also add that this all happened in April. When did he file it... October. So I had to wait forever just to find out what the damage. I was going to just deal the issue by paying the tickets, but then I remembered that I have ARAG through my job which is legal insurance. What does ARAG stand for you may ask? Allgemeine Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG and they are based in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia Germany. Is this at all important? Not really, but I was surprised they were German based and figured I would mention that I was surprised. Anyway, I went to the website and chose a lawyer from a list of people. I picked Robinson Sookdeo Law because I recognized her from a Yelp pop up advertisement. I checked the review (only one but 5 stars) And decided why not. I called and made an appointment, then I drove to downtown Riverside. I parked, paid money for the wrong parking spot, stopped a meter cop, he fixed it by giving me a coins, then I was solicited by another lawyer on the sidewalk that asked me if I need legal advice (weird) and then I proceeded to walk past the building twice. Once I figured out where I was going and that she was on the 2nd floor I opened the door and was greeted by looks of confusion. This made me confused and embarrassed thinking I walked into the wrong office. When I told Shumika T. R. Sookdeo, Esq (full name) my name her face change from confusion to recognition. She mentioned that her secretary added my appointment to a different date. She asked me what was the issue, and while I was telling her she started reading me thinking I was one of those people that doesn't tell the whole truth when providing information. I figured as an attorney she probably deals with people all the time that doesn't tell her all the information up front. Just like on TV. lol. Once we got that out of the way, she told me she would be making my court appearance for me and that I didn't have to go. (Which was awesome, because I couldn't get time off work.) After the first court appearance they made a court date, and the officer agreed to downgrade the ticket to Coasting which means no points on my DMV record. Yay!!! I still have to pay the ticket though $402. Boo! But with no points it keeps my car insurance down. Yay!!!! I will say that Shumika is stern, blunt and to the point, but still manage to somehow come across as friendly and trusting. The only slight issue I had was that after she went to court for me, I wasn't contacted within a week. I did call, however and her secretary provided me with the information right away. And I pretty much wrote it off as her being a busy attorney. She did call me soon afterwards and provided me with the information and sent a letter for my records. If I need help again, I will get ARAG insurance up and give Roinson Sookdeo Law a call. Of course, I hope I don't have too though.
