I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Griffith Ford Seguin. On Wednesday, my boyfriend…read morecalled to confirm the availability of a 2023 Honda Accord and went in alone to negotiate. After leaving, they called him back and agreed on an out-of-the-door price of $28,000. Our sales rep, Jacob, was pleasant at first. We agreed to return on Friday with cash in hand for a 20% down payment to finalize the deal and take the car home. On Friday, we were allowed to take the Accord to our trusted independent auto shop for an inspection before signing. We already knew the steering wheel was off-center, and although they attempted to fix it before we drove off the lot, it was still noticeably off-center during our drive. We were still under the impression--based on the vehicle report provided by the dealership--that the car had a clean history with no prior accidents. However, after paying $134.93 out of pocket for our mechanic's pre-purchase inspection, we discovered a completely different story: The driver's front had been in an accident (left front repainted, writing on driver's side suspension, strut, and axle indicating potential used salvage parts). Steering wheel was still off-center. Mismatched front driver's tire brand. Aftermarket windshield. Body damage including a dent on the front passenger door and a paint chip on the trunk. When we brought these findings back to Jacob, our concerns were downplayed, and he claimed the price couldn't change because they had already worked with us. When we asked him to check with management, he was gone for a while before returning with a manager. That is when the interaction completely turned unprofessional. The manager openly dismissed our independent inspection simply because it wasn't done by "their guys," despite acknowledging they had only owned the car for 1-2 months. He arrogantly claimed it was the "best-priced car in America" and repeatedly told us that Griffith Ford is a "client-based dealership" and that he "wouldn't be mad if we didn't become clients." He went so far as to say he didn't care that we had cash in hand for the down payment and that he'd rather us walk away if we weren't comfortable. Instead of taking accountability for selling a car with hidden damage and prior collision repairs--which cost us $134.93 out of pocket just to uncover--management made it clear they didn't value our business. Save yourself the time, money, and headache: get any car inspected independently before buying from here, because their reports don't match reality and management does not care about customer satisfaction.

DO NOT BUY A CORVETTE AT SEGUIN CHEVROLET…read more I've bought over a dozen high-end cars from Ferrari and Porsche and multiple Corvettes from Seguin Chevrolet. Samantha was always great to work with -- professional and honest. Unfortunately, things went downhill when General Manager Jeremy Sims took over my recent Corvette ZR1 order. After a year of working on my ZR1 build, Jeremy placed my order in the GM system, and it was officially accepted (Status 3000). Then, after the fact, he tried to add a massive ADM markup, knowing I was financially capable and committed to the build. That's textbook bait-and-switch and violates GM policy. Worse, he changed my Museum Delivery option (RBC) back to Seguin Chevrolet without my consent so he could resell my ordered ZR1 to another buyer at a higher price. Completely unethical. There's a reason GM gives few allocations to small dealers like Seguin -- they don't know how to handle high-end transactions with integrity. Jeremy Sims was deceptive and dishonest, and Seguin Chevrolet has lost my business and referrals for good. GM corporate is aware, and I hope they take action to protect the Corvette brand.

Avoid all interactions.... I had Caroline as my service representative…read more.. Overall This was by far the worst service experience I've ever had. Communication was nonexistent -- it was almost impossible to get a status on my vehicle. I was told my truck would be ready by 12 PM on December 9th after leaving it the week prior, only to be told when I called that they still needed to "reassemble" it, and I didn't hear back until the next morning. I also never received the promised call about a trade-in quote. The service itself was misleading and unprofessional. I was told my EGR cooler needed replacement due to coolant loss caused by the HVAC actuator -- two completely unrelated systems. Any competent mechanic would know this. I received a picture that showed nothing, was told it "would not do justice," and never got actual evidence of the claimed corrosion when I asked. It felt like a blatant attempt to upsell, taking advantage of me as a pregnant woman and veteran. On top of that, the prices were grossly inflated, and my AC isn't working properly after their work. The "evidence" I was given was useless, and I left feeling cheated and frustrated. I would never recommend this place.

The first of brake lights that would not go off, I then lost power steering, after that the AC went out, everytime I rolled down the windows I stripped the tint off them, the anti theft on the radio would drain my battery. The straw that broke the camels back was my transmission that blew out not even a year after I financed it. I'm in a poor credit situation so finding a lender that would approve me and also not have to put down an exuberant amount of money down was near impossible and I need a car yesterday. My only option was to go back to the same dealer even with the broken down civic and roll over the amount that I owed on the civic into a new financed car. So I spend all day looking around the lot and find one that looks and feels like it is in perfect condition. I choose a 2006 hyundai santa fe. Everything is perfect and running as planned until 4 weeks in and my air bag light comes on and will not turn off 3 days later my starter is busted. I understand that I financed both of these cars with the understanding that it is sold as is. But it seems very unlikely that I would have 2 cars that break down with in a month of getting them. I have paperwork on repairs that were done to this car previously that were in the manual and it states that repairs were needed soon for the starter but we're refused. The dealership obviously inspected this car and that was going to happen soon but did not mention anything. I believe this is considered fraud. I feel swindled and most certainly taken advantage of by this used car dealership that deals with people in poor credit situations and in dire need of a vehicle. I wish there was something I can do about this but there are no laws protecting people like me against predators like this. It's all he said she said at this point when it comes to me claiming fraud so now I'm stuck paying 8 grand for a car that's hardly worth 4 grand.
