I've had an awful experience with US bank. Im a first time banker and they were helpful in the…read moresetup process and relayed that most of my banking will be done through their app. The app is awful. I first went to set up my savings with the app giving me much trouble and I danced around on the phone with the bank as the app indicates with no solutions for a week until I just drove to set it up at the bank. The app lacks an easily accessible customer support tab and chat, includes a poorly designed AI bot, a major lack of maintenance (links broken, features not usable, etc.) The people in the branch are kind but seldom solve my problems often just handing me a phone number to sit on hold with tech support for an hour. The app definitely needs some work and the bank needs to stop promoting on it so heavily until it receives that work.

Commerce Bank turned me down for a home equity loan in April of this year, only reason was I had…read moreco-signed for a so called friend and he paid all of it back but $1,000 and had lapsed for about 2 months at Belgrade State back, I called Belgrade bank and paid the loan off ,which the creditors said didn't need to as the bank wrote it off, but in good faith had the paid reciept and Commerce said didnt help, that hurt my credit and had been with Commerce for over 45 years. My current FICO score is almost 800, I had a home equity loan two years ago and paid that off with. a check to Commerce for $65000.00. Guess what I do qualify for a VA loan with no problem, I will be hunting for a new bank now, so when i sell my current home which should be soon bet the new bank will love to have my $250,000.00, I will deposit. I have been watching these reviews and the Bank Owner has been commenting on all the positive ones, let's see if he comments on my review. Oh and I call ed Commerce here in Festus yesterday about closing my account and the man that answered said he would call me back, I' still waiting and that was two days ago!! Somewhere in…read morethe middle of turning in my insurance card, getting an iv, wondering if I was going to die etc etc etc. Apparently I signed something saying I wanted commerce bank to pay my hospital bill for me. I wish I was kidding. Keep in mind I had blue cross blue shield insurance and an hsa account with over 5k available in my account. Now commerce calls me every 12 hours demanding money. 830pm last night...10am this morning....2pm this afternoon...it doesn't stop. I've told them repeatedly that this was a scam and I even tried to pay them with my hsa card. Yea that don't work...I'm not even sure how this was processed or if it was even sent to bcbs or not. Beware that if you or a loved one get hurt there will someone in the er from commerce waiting for you to try and scam you. Do not use them for anything. Shame on them and shame on mercy hospital. They are my next call. I will update this post. Terrible!!!

I've had an account with Bank of America for 30 years and their customer service gets worse and worse. Every time I go in inside a location.
