I have been at this bank since I was a teen and I had no problems at all!! The service is always nice to me. I had two vehicles financed through them now and had no problems. It's not a bank that's widely available like US Bank but I think it's nice. read more

5 star service, but the new teller set-up is still weird. I like the new designs with the vacuum tubes used in drive-up windows being used inside. I do feel weird talking to monitor & feel like a voyeur while they process my transaction. Also, people have a tendency to talk loudly at the monitors about personal info that I do not want to know... I would pick up the phone. Overall I am still a fan. read more

So many problems! We switched from Bank of America seeking higher interest on savings and smaller requirements for free checking. Problem 1) I tried to transfer money from checking to pay my credit card and their buggy on line bill pay system took out the money, then DEPOSITED it back into my checking account. Problem 2) Having not actually paid my credit card bill because of problem stated above I repeated the process. Their system made the entry THREE TIMES! I was told later that everyone that tried to pay bills on that day suffered 3 entries as I had. It would have nice to hear from the credit union about the problem and not discover it later when I reviewed my account. Problem 3) They didn't tell me when I joined that in a few weeks everyone who had a credit card with them would be automatically switched from Visa to Mastercard. I decided to apply for a REWARDS CARD and for over a week whenever I viewed my accounts on line there were THREE credit card accounts listed and none of reflected an accurate balance. Problem 4) I went to make do my first transaction at the ATM outside of the St. Charles Rock Road branch (across the street from First Community Credit Union), and their touch screen wouldn't work and I couldn't do my transaction. I saw two other cars have the same problem so I know it wasn't just me. Problem 5) Despite reporting the problem with their ATM on line via their website contact us link, as well as posting about it on their Face Book page, I haven't heard from anyone, and it's been a week now. Great customer service Vantage - way to make me feel special. It took a while to set up all of our direct deposits for my wife's paychecks and my social security checks, plus we just got our third credit card in two months so we will suffer with Vantage Credit Union for exactly one year, after that we'll probably go somewhere else. P.S. I agree with the other reviewers - the monitors inside are extremely impersonal. read more

Their in-person site is a mess. Their app does not function as it should. Their website is a pain. Their service is awful. After nearly 20 years, I am closing my account with them. And they could not have cared less. If you use Vantage, watch for fees. I've been charged nearly $300 within a month, and my impression is that those fees are the only thing they're interested in. read more

This has the be the slowest branch around. It took 30 minutes to withdraw $64 from my account. There were 3 people ahead of me. I have a 10 minute wait than a 20 minute wait to get the cash. Time to hire more tellers or go elsewhere. read more

I really love this bank; however I'm NOT a fan of the video teller. I'm all about technology and things being convenient , etc. But some things it would be nice to have an actual person in front of you. They do have some real people at the help desk and they are very helpful in answering questions. I guess that the video teller is the same as going through the drive thru it just seems a little impersonal. Someone being in their late 30's and this bothering me, I can't imagine what someone older would think about this. I will say this doesn't bother me enough to want to switch to another credit union, especially since I'm really not in the bank enough doing difficult things that require me to go inside. All in all though I do like the 10 years of service I've had at Vantage. read more

Horrible experience - Vantage charges lots of hidden fees for accounts. Ask to see the fine print on everything - including asking for paper statements and opening accounts. Find any where else to bank. read more

Customer service is horrible. They made me come in 3 times to refi my car. Pamela was very unorganized and slow. The manager, Mallory gave excuses saying they were short staffed yet there was no one else here but me. A sales guy that they knew came in and they had time to chat and catch up. I definitely do not recommend this location. read more
