A week before my scheduled pickup date I was notified that my rental was ready and they wanted me to come in and get it asap. I called the store and verified that I could pick it up on my scheduled day because I don't live in the Spokane area and the guy I was talking to seemed a little annoyed but said it would be fine, then hung up on me. Ok...thanks? The day I came in I was assisted by a very nice gentleman who was apparently a new employee, we checked to make sure the clothes and shoes in my rental were sized correctly and I was out of here in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, whoever assembled my rental forgot to include the cufflinks and I didn't notice they were missing until I was at my event. Some of the other guests at the event who also rented from this store received multiple sets of cufflinks or mismatched pairs. When I returned the rental a couple of days later I told the staff member who greeted me that the cufflinks weren't included when I picked up my rental. She said they could "probably" do a refund but they would need manager approval. I said don't worry about it because the cufflink charge was only $2.50 and it wasn't a big deal. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be charged a replacement fee. She said I could contact their corporate office if I had any problems later on. She brought my rental to the counter and another guy (maybe a manager or a senior employee, I'm not sure) very condescendingly told her she didn't need to drape the rental over the counter because "that's what the rack by the door is for". I felt a little sorry for her because I think she may have been a new employee as this guy also walked her through getting a receipt for me. Without saying hi or anything, he walks up to me and asks (well, I'd say demanded to know) if I took all of my personal belongings out of the bag before I brought it back. I said yes and then he walked off. Based on his voice and tone, I think he was the guy I talked to over the phone a week ago. I got my receipt and left. Hopefully the not-included cufflinks won't be an issue for me or the staff. I doubt I'll ever come back to this particular Men's Wearhouse.

Gary, the owner, is an extremely nice man but, more important, is knowledgeable and helpful. It's easy to spend less money somewhere else, but it's difficult to find better clothing in the Pacific Northwest. The entire staff is just as knowledgeable - Roy in particular is exceptional. But I'm cheap, and that's a me problem. The employees are super cool and helpful. My boyfriend has been eyeing a watch for awhile and one of the employees had one and they were chatting about it and he was showing my boyfriend the watch and telling him stuff about it. I wandered off to the shoes because I have a shoe addiction and asked an employee for my size in a shoe. They didn't have it, closest size was 4 sizes bigger, even though they hadn't sold even one of those shoes apparently. Not their fault it's just weird they wouldn't have a size even though they hadn't sold any yet. No big deal though, I asked for my size in another shoe. She comes back and same deal. I gave up at that point. A bummer but oh well, I have too many shoes anyway and she was nice about it. Boyfriend convinced me to get the watch he wanted (btw it was a Nixon Time Teller, the gold one with the emerald green face- pretty sick) and the employee fitted it for him. He seemed to struggle a little but he got it. We went in at like 7:30 (they close at 8) and didn't rush us or anything. That was nice. I didn't even know it was that late til he was fitting the watch and looked at my phone and saw it was 7:45. Anyway, boyfriend loves the watch. And he better for $125. Never in my life would I thought I'd spend more than like $10 on a watch. He's lucky he's cute. Also kinda funny- the employee put the watch on him and we got home he was checking it out and he says to me "WAIT, why does it say NOXIN??? It says Nixon on the band but Noxin on the face!!!" And i told him to hand it to me and he was all freaking out thinking it was fake or something. Lo and behold the employee had put it on him upside down and apparently "NIXON" upside down looks like "NOXIN". Lmao. Had a good laugh about that.

This is the CUTEST second hand store in downtown Spokane…read more It FEELS like a nice boutique unlike many other second hand stores - the store is organized, clean, well presented, and all the clothing is tagged with hand written tags. The clothing quality is great and the prices feel like you are also getting a steal. Love to support small second hand businesses :) They have a loyalty program too. Final sale for everything.
