I feel bad for the maintenance manager there. His struggles are real. And God is watching your every step. Doesn't make sense that the president of the club is ALSO a Real estate & her half sister too and BOTH run and work the office when THEYRE DEALING WITH THERE REAL ESTATE Most of the TIME THERE. And the maintenance manager Tom gets his checked sucked dry straight to the rent outside of the mobile park when he should be living there and assisting for emergencies. While some homes still show their rental history, new homeowners, many in construction, are transforming the neighborhood with impressive renovations. It's exciting to see the pride and craftsmanship they're bringing in. The management company deserves real credit too. They're working steadily to turn this old surfer paradise into a welcoming place for families, and you can see the difference they're making. Some negative reviews come from long-time renters or residents with older, rundown homes who receive violations. The management is actually helping improve the community by enforcing standards. Space rent is higher here, but you're paying for the prime front-row location across from Pacific Coast Highway with direct beach access, unlike properties across the wetlands. The sales people like Sabrina thinks it's OK to take pictures of minors in bathing suits from her personal camera and print them and hang them in public walkways for all to see!!! She's disgusting to say the least! Residential walkways are being barricaded in so homeowners cannot use them walkways as intended, unfortunately, an elderly woman was hit by a car and died earlier last year, while trying to take a walk. I believe if our walkways would have been open for her to use, her death would have been prevented. Our walkways were the only safe space for us residence to use the pool, clubhouse, dog park and gave us access to our amenities in the club house. There have been zero meaningful improvements to justify these hikes. The pool sits unused, the park next door would be a nice amenity if residents had access (they don't), and the dumpsters are constantly overflowing. Basic maintenance is ignored, yet the rent keeps climbing. This company is gutting the community for profit. If you're thinking about moving here, do yourself a favor, don't.
