Two days of reading reviews for Endodontist in my area and things weren't looking good. I came across Soft Touch Endodontics and decided to give them a try based on their name. I drove almost a hour to get to their Suwannee office and from the time I walked through the door I felt like I had made a good choice. The office is beautifully decorated which aided in calming me somewhat and Camila was just a kind and pleasant as she was when I called to make my appointment. I was escorted to the examination room, had routine blood pressure (which was extremely high due to my anxiety) and temperature taken and X-rays of the tooth needing treatment. Dr. Davis came in and introduced herself and thanked me for choosing their office. Dr. Davis gentle touch, soft voice and friendliness immediately made me feel safe in the chair and confident that I was in the right place. She throughly explained what steps I needed to do next. I left feeling calm and pain free. Thank you Dr. Davis and your wonderful staff for making me feel welcomed and especially for eliminating the anxiety I usually have during dental appointments. The dental claims have been closed by my insurers, and I have not received a refund. They basically maxed out my insurance allowances on both of my policies in January of this year. Consequently, I will have to pay for my cleanings out of pocket this year. This practice is the epitome of why dentists are not trusted.

I felt like a stranger and that I was distracting them from more important business. They talked with the hygienist behind my back (literally) as I could not see what they were looking at and I walked away feeling a lack of confidence in their ability to match the service I was used to. Buford Family Dental is transparent and takes time to both show on screen and explain in layman's terms, any dental concerns as well as recommended course of action to remedy the concern. All this is to say that I am back at Buford Family Dental. The confidence I have in both Dr Patel and Dr Kim as well as their staff is worth the drive for the service provided Buford Family Dental. Today I had a root canal on one tooth and a tooth extraction and bone graph (prep for a crown) on another tooth. 4 hours later, with the novocaine worn off, I sit with no pain and satisfied with a procedure done as well as any Endodontists or oral surgeon could have performed.
