She has learned so much and even recently added on a voice lesson to her guitar lesson, which is a big deal for her because she is very shy. My son is on his 3rd teacher because two have left for various reasons, but honestly that is just going to happen at any large music studio, and every time he has gotten a new teacher he has liked him even better than the last! So it has all worked out and he is learning a lot. And the front desk staff - WOW. I really don't know how to express how awesome and helpful they are. They truly care about the kids, are very empathetic to kids' and parents' needs and concerns (I honestly do not understand how they have so much patience), always think to message when a makeup spot or better scheduling spot opens up, and are just so genuinely kind, professional and friendly. We've tried a few other teachers in San Diego over the past 2 years, but none of them really clicked with my child or made the instrument come to life for him. Ali is wonderful at teaching kids. I'm not sure if it's because he's had the highest quality training himself, but he's sort of a wonderful kindergarten teacher and concert musician rolled into one. Amazingly patient and very adaptable to a kid's personality / disposition.
