We decided that we would go considering we got the same recommendation from multiple people. In the winter it looks closed until you get up to the building, but it was definitely open. As you walk up you observe all their outdoor domes, and a lit fire for anyone who wants to enjoy the snow, or may have pets. It was beautiful. As you enter you walk into this huge open space with a massive fire place and high tables. In the middle is a bar where you can just walk up and order. We got lucky and attended the afternoon they had live music. The live music really made the whole experience amazing. I enjoyed all the wine. I wound up trying half of the menu because each one was delicious. Overall, this place was an absolute treasure. Beautiful exterior, beautiful interior, superb service, and live music. Highly recommend following them on social media so that you can attend when there is music. Really makes the experience that much better. Also, the owner has the most adorable dogs. They are so beautiful, and well behaved. If you're lucky they will come say hello.

We each grabbed our snowshoes and our poles went out and spent a good part of the afternoon on the snow getting some great exercise and taking in some great views of the area out and around crooked Lake. We then made our way back to the winery and went inside and had a couple of great glasses of wine from their selection of at least 10 to 12 different wines. And it is always an education as the proprietors really know the wine business and can recite some terrific facts and great trivia. We already have plans to go back and wine shoe a little bit more and have another glass of wine at the crooked vine. A flight of six was $14 but you got really ample pours so it felt totally worth the price. My husband and I split the flight as one of us had to drive and it was plenty. We especially liked the sweeter apply raspberry cider but everything we tried was tart and light. They had over 18 options and all sounded appeasing and worth a try. In the end we purchased an apple raspberry and given that I'm not fond of canned ciders she was willing to pour us some into a glass jar to purchase. We greatly appreciated her service and the atmosphere, and will plan to head back there again. They had a few wine options but if you are looking for hard cider this is the place to go!
