I've been dealing with a nerve inflammation in my right foot for a month. (Saw an MD, and didn't get much help other than to take tylenol) I've had orthotics before, they were painful and too hard on my feet. So imagine my surprise. I've tried wearing shoes without Dr. Hahn's orthotics - my feet got tired after 10 minutes of walking. Thanks, Dr! I now also know exactly what's wrong with my foot and how to remedy that - thanks for taking time to explain all the details. The 3D scanner (instead of taking a mould - old, cheap way) to examine my foot was pretty interesting, too.

Dr. Hahn was about 20 minutes late for my appointment but apologized the minute she walked in. She was very helpful in understanding my foot/knee pain problems and offered to make custom orthotics for my feet. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hahn if you're having problems with your feet.

No wonder the MSP won't cover these medical services when they rip off the system like this. How come it's less than half the price for an initial consult with a physio or a chiro. I don't mind paying a reasonable charge over what they already get from MSP but this is absolutely outrageous and is ripping off the general public and the system! Take it down a peg or three , you'll still make a very good living, this is not Hollywood!

In the past I went to a retail store to get my orthotics so this time I figured I'd go to a legit doctor since my health benefits would pay for it. But I don't think there was much difference in the quality in examining my foot issues or insight/recommendations he provided. I think the quality was even less actually, plus the cost was high. I was told the initial consultation was $137 and I thought, sure no problem, that is covered by my health benefits. But after my first visit, I was actually invoiced $282 due to the additional cost of $145 for the 3D foot scan, which was over my health benefit limit. Follow up appointments to fit the orthotics and check-up are free though. The orthotics cost $505, which was over my $400 health benefit limit. So in the end I had to pay $102 + $105 out of pocket :( I've seen other websites that quote $400 for orthotics, including foot scans so I'd recommend shopping around to find one that fits your health insurance plan.
