I was very concerned last year when I purchased a gift certificate for my mother for Mothers Day and noticed that they added $20 to a $300 gc. I mentioned it later to one of the other employees and was told it was tax, yet I will be charged tax when the items are purchase, I was then told it was a fee. I then at a later date brought it up to another employee and said that should not have been the case and I should not have been charged, but was not given a solution. My mother had purchased many small snap dragons, but they were mislabeled in which they were actually the tall snap dragons that grew out of the window boxes. She was allowed to exchange most ( not all), but the ones that she received in exchange were the tall ones which were again mislabeled. By the time they grew and realized they were mislabeled, they were ready to close for the season. I have been doing this for a Mothers Day gift for five years straight, but will no longer do that anymore. It is a shame as one employee who works there is always nice and she is very helpful. read more
