My case was primarily handled by another attorney (Jessica Hernandez) after intake/consultation/interview with (David Maletta). I experienced repeated delays and unreturned calls and emails. There were also many instances where the legal strategy discussed and agreed upon during meetings and documented in follow up emails were simply not followed. I raised these concerns several times with firm leadership in writing and during calls. While I was repeatedly told the issues would be addressed, I did not see changes in communication, responsiveness, or case handling. The overall experience became extremely stressful ans frustrating, especially considering the amount of money paid versus the level of attention and follow-through I expected. They then asked for more money. Ultimately, I made the decision to hire different counsel. After changing firms, my matter was resolved within a few months, for less money and in a way that aligned exactly with the strategy I believed should have been pursued from the beginning.
