Such a unique experience! Whether you are a fan of the work of Van Gogh, are interested in learning more about the artist and his work, or simply want to know what it's like to really step into a painting, then this museum is for you!
For me, I've always loved the work of Van Gogh, and found the artist himself fascinating when I learned about him as a kid. I've been to museums before where the art is projected on a blank space, and to be surrounded by Van Gogh's work is just too good to pass up.
Parking is a breeze and the building itself is very easy to find. When you first enter, you go into the gift shop where they offer all kinds of cool merch featuring Van Gogh's art. There's a photo booth that will turn you into one of Van Gogh's paintings too, and though it costs 15 dollars to print out the picture, I'd say go for it, it's worth it. Of course, if all you want to do is look, then just make sure you don't print.
Okay, so moving on through the exhibition, you see a recreation of Van Gogh's work displayed along with a description and in-depth discussion about its history and how it relate to Van Gogh's life. There are many photo-ops available and the displays really make you feel like you are a part of the painting. You go through a maze and see multiple displays and you can peruse at your leisure.
At the end of the exhibit, you have the option to go through the VR experience for an extra 5 dollars. Spoiler Alert: it's worth it. read more
