I'm a recent transplant to Santa Fe & working on re-establishing my life in this awesome spot. I…read morewas very fortunate to run across the other positive reviews for Karen here on Yelp! and she was in-network for me, so I gave it a shot! Today was my initial visit. I have to say, I don't think I've *ever* had a day-one initial consult experience as thorough, positive & caring as it was with Karen today. I can't believe that she's registered as "only" a nurse - she's much more knowledgeable than 99% of the doctors I've had, listens incredibly well, and is very down-to-earth with her advice and generous with her time. I'm sticking with her as my primary doctor, hands down!! The medical profession and the world in general would be so much better off if there were more Karens out there!!!

I love Santa Fe, and try to visit often, so having a doctor there was something I knew I'd like...well never once did she treat me like that was weird, or I was less than any of her other patients because (obviously) I wouldn't be a regular. When I chose her (off of Yelp), I was slightly bummed that the only other review didn't elaborate more on the type of care...I was specifically looking for prenatal/maternity care. Well she was just above and beyond everything I hoped for. She was beyond kind, attentive, inquisitive, and INFORMATIVE. She is so knowledgeable and offered me so much of her time to share her wealth thereof with me. It truly put my mind at ease about some potential issues. I am SO grateful to have walked in the door to her practice. Her staff at the front reflected her same ultra-attentive attitudes, keeping me informed of time frames, fees/charges, etc. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. And I typically LOATHE the doctor's office.

Wolfswinkle is a nightmare. I went to her several years ago and she found cervical dysplasia. Her…read morenurse was looking over her shoulder the entire time of the exam. When they left the room they left the door wide open! Then she ran test three times to be sure the results were correct. She told me she was going to remove half of my cervix and to come in the following week. I told her I would prefer to work on it holistically first. She said 'If you don't do this you will die". I then worked with a practitioner who cleared up the dysplasia completely. Went back to Wolfswinkle who ran the test again and I was clear of any dysplasia. She refused to believe I ever had it and said her testing must have been wrong. Then she told me not to come back! She's hard, cold and doesn't listen to her patients.

Very upset with my experience today. I have moved from out of state and tried to find a physician…read more Preferably an OBGYN to assume my care. (Not that I need much). I was told when I called the office, they had a Nurse Practitioner that could see me. I offered a few details, to make sure this would be a good fit. I am in the medical profession and I am not opposed to a qualified NP. Usually when they are working under a physician in a physician's office. They are qualified. Today I didn't experience that. To say the least, I left highly disappointed and really felt like I was not treated well. I didn't get to see anyone. I was told the Nurse Practitioner didn't have a DEA number. And therefore, she does not prescribe medication. This would have been nice to know before I was told she could see me. I then asked if they had a physician that could see me. I was told no. ( Not for sure then where the physician was. Or why at some point she couldn't see me.) Unfortunately, today was a really bad disappointing day. Would not recommend this place.

When I actually got to see the doctor I was met with distain and no compassion didn't want to figure out what was wrong. Just wanted to refer me to other people so I went and started again going online trying to figure out my own symptoms. Based on my lab work that was done that the doctor had access to, so I have some type of infection could have prescribed me something based on that ordered some test. I was looked at now just oh well you have a small fibroid and nothing is gonna help your pain. We can maybe try this and maybe try that maybe try this but didn't wanna actually figure it out. Just wanted to refer me somewhere else so hopefully the excruciating pain she put me through for the test actually get run so I can get the results and hopefully get a doctor that will actually try and figure out what's wrong and help instead of criticizing and treat me like I didn't matter

I have been using their services since moving to ABQ and have found staff to be very compassionate. They listen to you, any concerns that you may have and advise the different options/things that they can do to help you. Although my visits had been with different staff, I found them all to be very personable and have great bedside manner. There was no uncomfortable, awkward moments, despite some types of checkups that are needed for women's care at all. The only thing is...I think they are pretty short staffed. You arrive and check in...but you may have to wait a bit to actually get your name/check in done (because the front desk runs a bit late) or the staff may still be with their prior appointments. But otherwise, the quality of their staff, their services and the cleanliness of this facility made me feel pretty content with the services I receive there.
