We are both disabled, which we called ahead to make sure they didn't have a problem, so knew were coming. Well, they were rude, crude, UNSANITARY, and refused to to do what I asked-repeatedly. And, then charged me full price for a mani-pedi.I get that it's a little more difficult to do my hands, but other places have cut, filed, and polished them. He had to be told 5 x's to file smooth-he wasn't using the right file in the 1st place. The thing that got me was he said he could only put clear on my nails, because my hands were messed up. Well, if you can put clear-YOU CAN POLISH! smh. I have always used nail salons since my stroke, but recently relocated, so had to find a new place. And, they have had NO trouble polishing my nails! He just didn't want to do them. My husband is legally blind so carries a walking stick. He had it folded up in his back pocket. The first comment out of the owner, "Steve" was, "Are those you're numchuks?" Really? shm. Then the pedi-the lady never looked, spoke to me, only gesturing what she wanted me to do-impatiently-like I was supposed to read her mind.. I kept repeating cut the corners of my nails. Steve kept saying, yes, yes, we always do it. NO, they didn't so my toes and fingers hurt. They don't clean their sinks properly, reuse nail separaters-they put the ones from my toes in the drawer of the nails station w/o cleaning them-btw those things are very inexpensive, reuse flip flops, metal utensils were not cleaned-I watched him put in a drawer W/O cleaning! And when he finished the mani, he got up and just left me sitting there-still w/flip flops on. Then neither him, or everyone spoke to us again. They treated us like we had the plaque. And, no we're not nasty ppl-we are clean and dressed nicely.It was the RUDEST I have ever been treated! We even had to tell them we had to pay! smh. So, if you like being treated this way, being overcharged-or for services you didn't get, and taking a risk with your health--No? Well, DON'T GO TO Nails Etc./Nails Plus at 625 Wolcott Rd, Wtby!
