I got my dog during covid times and was never allowed to be with him during his appointment or anytime after that at my last vet. I was so happy this place allowed me to go back with my dog. The people in the back were really friendly. The people in the front were very busy and didn't even acknowledge when I greeted them goodbye. It seemed like 3 of the 4 ish people sitting in the front are just taking calls and doing appointments, which surprised me they had them sitting up front in the lobby. I think the front-end customer service could be better. They do have service plans for the animals and I did sign up for that. I hope it is worth it as it was spendy (as all of them are, but my dog's health is worth it) and now they have increased the prices. I'm glad I paid in full for the year before the prices increased. Again, the care he received thus far was great.

The staff is always so responsive and accommodating and kind. The pricing is fair and transparent with care packages available to help with pets who may need some extra help. And when the time came to say goodbye to my cat, the process was handled with gentleness and dignity. I have had a lot of negative experiences with other veterinary practices over the years which made me really nervous about finding a good doctor when I moved to a new area - I feel really lucky to have found Vet Partners and will trust any animal of mine to their top-notch care.

Have been going for 3 years and am switching. Seems like every time we need something (medication,…read morebooster shot, etc.) we're being upsold. Today I tried to get in to get a bordatella booster and was told that we had to have a full examination ($75) first and that it was REQUIRED BY LAW. When pressed hard on that, she finally admitted it wasn't actually a law. I I then asked to speak with the practice manager and was told that because we hadn't been in for over a year, the full examination was required for rabies booster. When I informed her that we had been in twice over the last year, I was told that those visits didn't count because they were for ear infections and they didn't do a full examination during those visits however when I look at my receipts for those visits, I was charged an exam fee. Something really odd about this.

He's been to the vets twice (he goes to another veterinarian because Minnehaha Animal Hospital wouldn't take him) Well now my Westie is sick with the influenza now. I tried calling this morning at 7:30 but was only able to leave a message. Two hours later I sent a text and finally received a call an hour later. I told the gal the symptoms my dog was having and she told me she'll let the doctor know and get back to me later today. She then called me back a few hours later and informed me that I can pick up some medication for her cough and they're not making any appointments. She told me they're booked up for the next few days and won't make any appointments, in fact they turned down 20 other people with sick dogs today. I then asked her if I should call back sometime next year as this is outrageous. After I hung up I went to their website and made an appointment for Monday morning. I sent them a text that I'll be picking up the medication in the morning and will be in Monday morning with my dog. At this time I'll be looking for a different veterinarian. What kind of animal hospital won't see your dog when they're sick???

They honestly love, love, love your pets like their own. Being a long-term client with multiple pets, we have been through so much and have felt so grateful to entrust our pets' care to these wonderful, talented, and knowledgeable practitioners. We just had to say goodbye to our dear kitty, Brutus (14 years) after being diagnosed 4.5 months earlier with Stage 4 Kidney Disease. Dr. Koppy had seen him through everything since we adopted him: regular checkups, hematomas, luxating patella surgery, and this disease. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet techs to Dr. Koppy have continued to lead with expertise, compassion, and genuine care for our kitty, especially as we found treatments to work with his final illness. When Brutus was first diagnosed, my husband and I had so many questions and concerns and I was so grateful to have Dr. Koppy address every single one with patience, kindness, and understanding. I never once felt rushed or like just another client. Dr. Koppy and her team support guardians of pets as much as the pets themselves. They even brought us in to learn how to give Sub-cutaneous fluids at home. Dr. Koppy comforted us in letting us know that even though his kidneys were ill and we had to add supplements and medications, our kitty wasn't experiencing any pain as we managed his symptoms. When Brutus took a turn for the worst practically overnight (which Dr. Koppy prepared us for well ahead of time), I tried to get him in for an appointment at the clinic the day of. When I described his symptoms, they were very adamant that he needed to get seen even if it wasn't by them. They didn't have openings but put Brutus as #1 priority on the waitlist for the day and also directed me to a clinic that could have openings. Dr. Koppy called me several times that morning as well to talk through what was happening and what her recommendations and thoughts were, even though she couldn't examine him in person herself. I am so glad they did all of this because my cat was starting to suffer significantly and quickly. We were able to see the recommended clinic to get the necessary tests needed to confirm that it was time to prevent him from suffering any more. He went peacefully at home that evening in large part because of their concerns and recommendations. The staff respectfully checked in on us with a card and phone call. This experience has only deepened our relationship with LAH. I know whatever comes our way for our 2 remaining cats (17 yo and 10 yo), I can trust that Dr. Koppy and the Lyndale Animal Hospital team will continue to do everything they can to ensure their health, well-being, and dignity as they lead the fullest lives they can. Thank you to everyone for supporting us during the good and the challenging times.

Utterly incompetent to care for cats. Under no circumstances should you come here if you have a cat…read morewithout a known health history. We found a stray over Labor Day weekend, and when she went unclaimed we took her into BCAH the week after. We selected BCAH because they had online booking and were open after 5 - with our normal vet, for our two other cats, we have to wait and they don't have evening appointments. During the visit, we expressed that she was a very friendly stray with no known medical history. The vet: 1. Vaccinated the cat 2. Told us to look out for heat, as neither she nor the other vet could find any sign of spaying 3. Told us we should wait to spay the cat, even after I personally expressed I'd rather spay and be safe 4. Did not tell us that she could be pregnant or advise us of any risks related to pregnancy and live vaccines Fast forward a month, you guessed it, our cat was super pregnant. We took her back to BCAH as part of a vaccine booster and were told: 1. She was pregnant 2. She'd been vaccinated with live vaccines, endangering the kittens - but it probably would be fine! (In other words they massively downplayed the risk/their own screw-up) 3. It was "too late" to spay, but how lucky, they have referrals for a clinic that deals with birthing cats and a referral for a shelter specifically dealing with kittens! I spoke with my sister, who is a vet tech, that evening. She expressed outrage, both at the initial poor care/lack of informed consent, and at the claim it was "too late" to spay. So, we took her to our regular vet for a spay consultation and then for a spay 2 days later. It's been a week+ since her spay and she is recovering very well, and thank God, we don't have kittens to deal with. To advise us against spaying in September, fail to inform us the cat might be/probably was pregnant (recall that we told them she was super friendly, that we live in an area with lots of strays, and they couldn't find any sign she'd been spayed: I found out later that this means the cat is very likely pregnant!), and then provide us with no spay resources - to functionally lie, and lead us to believe "it's too late to spay" is an opinion most vets would hold - is totally unacceptable. This is a degree of malfeasance so serious I reported BCAH to the vet board of MN. I am disgusted with a vet practice that thinks nothing of putting at least 2 more kittens into an already burdened adoption system, that thinks kittens potentially having birth defects is no big deal, and that frankly had the nerve to charge us $45 for a visit where they admitted to serious mistakes. When I emailed BCAH expressing my anger at this poor treatment, they refunded me for both visits within 2 hours. But they did not acknowledge their mistakes nor apologize for them. These people should not be practicing vet medicine.
