I have been taking my dog Reuben to LAKE harriet for many years. They were very helpful and took the time with me to discuss his very unusual behaviors and offered solid advice. Dr. Sarah in particular was readily available and listened to my concerns and was proactive in her approach to help manage his behaviors. When it was time for Reuben for cross over, the team at Lake Harriet showed nothing but dedication and professionalism and I couldn't be happier to have Dr Sarah by my side. Reuben received the best care and I will continue to take my animals here. read more

I have been to Vet practices where the vet and staff are skilled enough to take blood with the towel method in the same room as I am, i.e. right in front of me. (That was Columbus, Ohio, so I can't easily go back to that one.) This place doesn't, and I'm starting to think that is a problem. This last visit they didn't get enough blood and called me 30 minutes later. Luckily they had enough for the important stuff and I just cancelled the rest. There is a bit of an unpleasant vibe there - it reminds me of a past toxic workplace, tbh. I was scolded by a technician for being 8 minutes late (my fault), but then we sat there for five minutes because the exam room computer had to start, i.e wasn't ready. Okay. There is also no way to talk to the doctors directly except at exam time so if the staff is a little rude, well, who's going to ever know? I'll probably keep going there because I like the doctor and they do the rabies titer, but I'm not to too keen on letting let them take blood out of my sight again, especially after reading that other review here about it. It seems like if they are unwilling to do it in front of me then that is a red flag. read more

My 19 year old cat has been to three different vets in the last two years for gradual weight loss, lack of appetite, excessive drinking, and lethargy. He was diagnosed with a UTI and/or kidney issues or cancer every time with no 100% diagnosis. I recently moved to MN and he started showing the same symptoms. Without a vet here and lack of funds, I was a wreck. I was referred to LHV by a co-worker and I could not be more grateful for this. My old man has a thyroid condition and has had it for some time. For whatever reason, the three vet visits previously never took the time or thought outside of the box enough to figure this out. This being after blood work, countless tests, and over $1,500 spent. Dr. Sarah and team are INCREDIBLE. You can tell the doctors and techs genuinely care about their "patients" and want the absolute best for you and your baby. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Because of this hospital, I will hopefully have my handsome man for a few more years and he will be healthier and happier. They accept Care Credit also! Not sure what I would have done without them. I highly highly recommend this animal hospital. read more

I switched vets and brought my cats to LHV last week for the first time. I was so pleased with how loving and considerate they were, especially for my one cat who is very anxious. They even put a light pheromone scented blanket over their carrier to calm them down, and really did everything possible to make this visit as stress-free as possible. They took plenty of time, asked thorough questions and gave me advice and guidance to help with their digestive issues, which have already resolved. It's very clear that they love animals and want their visit to be as calm as possible. read more

I love these people! Yesterday, my girlfriend and I brought our puppy Cranberry to check out a possible irregular heartbeat, ask questions about her behavior, and, ugh, get her anal glands "expressed." (I shudder every time I think about it.) I had no expectations, since I've never visited a vet. Here's a list of reasons as to why I love this place: +The lobby area is open with a tall ceiling, and they provide some really awesome free treats for the pets and the owners. (I'll munch on my Starbursts while I sip on some tea. Thanks.) +The lobby to the appointment rooms are updated! +There's plenty of parking on the street outside. +The receptionists are super sweet. +You won't have to wait very long for your appointment. +The vet and nurse both provided excellent service to our pup. Both of them listened and acknowledged all of our concerns, noted different types of resources for various problems that we could access, gave us a sweet info packet, and, most importantly, treated our four-legged family member with so much love! +The nurses expressed Cranberry's glands with no problems! I am not even tempted to check out another clinic. This. Place. Rocks! BTW - Our puppy is in 100% perfect health! read more

I switched to this place after considerable dissatisfaction with another clinic. Very happy with my decision. I was almost 30 minutes late for my first appointment and they were very understanding. Given my cat's (she's almost 20) degenerative kidney condition, they have been a tremendous source of support. Andrea and Robert at the front desk are friendly and warm. They get very busy so understand that sometimes your hold time may be long. The vet techs treat my cat with genuine affection. I picked Dr. Jim Sinning because he also practices acupuncture and Chinese medicine, both of which he has used for my cat with great effectiveness. He has never pushed anything on me, but brought up treatment options as needed. When lab tests have been done Dr. Sinning calls back the same day and either discusses results or answers questions unhurriedly, or leaves a very detailed message. I have had some major stuff done for my cat and they always inform me of the cost upfront. I am also pleased to be paying less for a lot of services compared to the last clinic in Minnetonka. read more

We love going to Lake Harriet veterinary!! They've been so patient with my dog Finn and all of his anxiety issues, and have done wonderful care for my cat Cosette. They've always been really great at only charging you for what you need, and with very reasonable rates. The only issue I've ever had here was with Dr. Sarah, who I always request not to have anymore. When my cat had a UTI, she had performed tests on her and determined that she had a stone in her bladder and she REQUIRED prescription pet food to treat it. I am vehemently against any sort of prescription pet food because of both the awful ingredients in them that are produced from the lowest grade of pet food companies, but also the secretive, yet major claims made for this type of pet food by those companies. I work as a biostatistician in clinical research and in order for a product to have claims of treating diseases, they have to go through intense clinical trails with a lot of scrutiny from the FDA (they'll call you out if they think you are trying to throw any biases into the study or analyze the data in such a way as to give you the results you want, instead of results that would truly reflect your product). These companies don't allow any public access to their research, which leads me to believe that there could be some potentially corrupt, maybe or maybe not intental, way of analyzing the data to reach these "claims". I could go on about this, but anyways, I'm very against them. The one thing that I can understand about switching a diet is the different nutrient levels that might aid in the recovery. So the science behind them. Dr. Sarah called me to tell me about the stone and how she required this diet. I told her I was uncomfortable with this food and asked for alternatives. I told her I was more than willing to make her something homemade if she needed it. But Dr. Sarah was adamant that this prescription food was the ONLY option, and told me that I would be killing my cat if I didn't immediately put her on it (she explained how she would get worse, be in more pain, require more expensive diagnosis and treatment, could require surgery, which has risks associated with it that could lead to her death). I was getting pretty upset. I kept asking for other alternatives, asked if we could get a nutrition consult, etc. but she wasn't budging from her views. Even though humans don't require a special pre-made diet to treat stones. Anyways, so flashforward six months later, another UTI. Before that, I had changed her diet to something with a lot more water in it and tried to do things to help her destress. I brought her in to her regular doctor, Dr. Megan (who is amazing!! And so is Finn's regular vet Dr. Cathy!! So so patient with him!) and she told us that it wasn't a stone she was dealing with, but she had some sort of blood clot in her bladder, both this time and last time, and apparently they were relatively common. I switched her to a raw diet since then and so far no more recurring UTIs. But I definitely don't trust Dr. Sarah. I met her a few months later at a dog training class for Finn that she was auditing and mentioned my line of work, which she had expressed how difficult statistics were. Again though, for everything besides this one vet, we absolutely love it here! They are extremely patient and accommodating to us, well-priced, very very knowledgeable, and great at getting Cosette in at the very last minute when she was having a string of UTI issues that went on for a few months. So they still deserve 5 stars! read more

I followed Dr. Cathy Sinning from Alta Vet to Lake Harriet, when it first opened. I took my cats here for at least 14 years. After the building expansion, more staff and vets it lost some of the personal touch so I took my cats to a different vet. I came back several months ago because my cat, Amos needed surgery for dental disease(an area LHV has great skill). Amos' surgery took 4-hours and he had 17 teeth removed. The cost exceeded the high end of the estimate by $200. I called the clinic twice after his surgery because he wasn't eating and last week he started vomiting after returning to his pre-surgery diet. I was offered an appointment for that day but it overlapped picking up my child from school. I was told there were no appointments the next day. A staff person told me a vet or vet-tech would return my call that day on each of these occasions. I did not receive return calls and instead called to ask for the manager, Wendy. Wendy told me details of how busy the clinic was and that my expectations were too high. She did, however, take care of the situation after the first call. When I called the second time, after no return call regarding my cat vomiting, Wendy answered with defensiveness, hostility and interrupted me each time I spoke and I wasn't able to complete a sentence. It wasn't until awhile into the conversation before she inquired about Amos vomiting. To my surprise, Wendy ended the conversation telling me in a scolding tone, "It's clear we're never going to satisfy your expectations. It's time you build a relationship with a new vet." Is this the way to serve pets and their owners? How are my expectations too high when I was told someone would call me back and it was after a major, 4-hour surgery for a small animal. In the meantime, I don't know why Amos will no longer tolerate his pre-surgery diet. Lake Harriet was once a wonderful, one-of-a-kind veterinary clinic. I am sad about this terrible experience. It is clear I am not welcome here nor do I want to return. Lake Harriet Veterinary admin and the manager have lost sight of their purpose. Like read more

Lake Harriet Veterinary has been taking care of my two male cats for the last few years. They are kind, responsive and provide a relaxing experience as the pets parent. We've actually had a good experience with Lake Harriet veterinary for several years across multiple pets. The people are all very kind and attentive, and the clinic at itself is well lit and clean. A terrible experience this week, however, is worth noting as a warning. We brought in our very old (15 years), very small (four pound) dog to have an evaluation regarding cleaning her teeth. Anesthesia for a dog this old and small can be risky. This dog does not like to be examined and so needs to be held down to do so. This clinic has a habit of wanting to take the pet away from the owner for any exam or treatment that they think the owner might find distressing. Which they did in this case even though it was not my preference, I definitely felt pressured into letting them take her to another room without me. Long story short the dog ended up with a broken tail, a limp, and a very sore body (I hope not cracked ribs) from being restrained too forcefully during their examination. She hasn't eaten for two days and is in great distress. If you have a young healthy larger pet this clinic is fine, but if you have a very fragile animal do not let them take it out of your sight. Clearly they miscalculated the strength that would cause injury in our little dog and now she is suffering greatly. I don't think that they intentionally caused her pain, but they definitely should have used better judgment. Be warned. read more

I was traveling from out of town and was referred to this clinic. My dog has many issues that are helped by weekly acupuncture so I tried to schedule an appointment. The person answering the phone was not kind nor helpful and basically just said we can't help you without the hour long consult. I know that makes perfect sense for new clients, but we are just here for 10 days and would not be returning so I asked if they could ask a doctor if they could make an exception. I could tell this irritated her, and the experience went down hill from there. She showed no compassion for the situation and offered no help resolving the issue. Not a great person to have manning the phones. read more

Many reviews have already made it very clear - Lake Harriet Vet will take excellent care of your pet. You should also know that they are great with your pet's ridiculously emotional and paranoid owner too. Bringing Miles in for a teeth cleaning was horribly scary and I was beside myself with worry. Not only had I read everything awful that can happen when cats are put under anthesia, but the thought of anything happening to my little guy was unbearable. This might have been aggrevated by the fact that I was an emotional wreck anyways from dealing with the most stressful past 6 months ever. So minutes after walking in the front door, the wheels came off and I was sobbing and slobbering all over the place as I tried feebly to check him in. The receptionist quickly grabbed me tissues and took me into a room to finish the check in process, allowing me time to gather myself. Doctor Nicole came in shortly and reassured me that Miles would be just fine. She even assured me I wasn't the "crazy pet owner" after I apologized profusely for being such a wimp. They could not have been more compassionate. And with that Miles was off..... His cleaning turned into a much longer surgery than expected since his teeth were so bad...this was his first vet visit since I got him 3 years ago. They called me periodically to keep me posted and assure me that he was doing fine. After 12 extractions and 5+ hours of surgery, he was finally done and ready to come home. His recovery was a little rocky as he struggled to get used to an empty mouth and 3 canines - which gives him this awesome Elvis snarl as the bottom up is free to push his upper lip up. Do cat's even have lips?? Anyways, they were always great about answering my questions and getting us last minute check up appointments when needed. Highly recommend Lake Harriet Vet - for your pet care and minor breakdowns :) read more

I brought my 6.5 year old cat Tompkins in for his first visit to Lake Harriet Veterinary in August 2012, and I could not be happier--still! He was due for his Rabies vaccine, but he has always had issue with vomiting, so I decided to ask Dr. Palmieri--honestly, I expected her response to be the same as all the other vets. I have never been given much of an explanation, no suggestions have helped, and every other vet I've seen has recommended hundreds of dollars in tests. Dr. Palmieri immediately suggested B12 injections and a diet with a novel protein. She took her time to demonstrate how to give the injections and was very thorough in answering all of my (many) questions. Tompkins is not aggressive by any means, but he is very high strung at the vet and gets startled easily. The doctor and the tech moved very slowly and knew exactly what to do to ease my little guy's nerves. Four months later and Tompkins has only had one-two episodes of vomiting--down from 2-4 a WEEK. I live in St Paul and will not hesitate to return to Lake Harriet Vet & Dr. Palmieri. Best clinic, best doctors, and best service I've ever been to--and I worked at a clinic for 3 years. I never write reviews, but I HIGHLY recommend! read more

I've had a few dogs since I moved to Minneapolis over 35 years ago. Buy far, the best people, the best attention and the best results came from taking my dog to Lake Harriet Veterinary. The people are nice, the prices are reasonable, and the result is always, always outstanding. These people really know what they're doing - and I'm totally sold on their bedside manner. Outstanding. Lake Harriet Veterinary is not really on your way to anywhere obvious, but you'll find them easily just 2 blocks east of Lake Harriet at the corner of Bryant Avenue S., and East Harriet. read more

So....I can't really write a full review for this place...but I wanted to write about my experience with the front desk staff... I dropped one of my ferrets (Alexander Supertramp) off at the clinic to be used as a "donor ferret"...he was to donate blood to be used by a fellow ferret that has aplastic anemia. I walked into the clinic & was immediately greeted with smiles and happy chatter from everyone at that front desk. Later in the day, when I returned to pick him up it was more of the same thing. Happy - smiling - front desk staff that gushed about how wonderful my little ferret was to work with = music to my ears :) Few other observations about the clinic...it's super clean, bright, cutely decorated and conveniently located with easy parking... On my way out, I picked up a brochure for their clinic - I think I might check out their veterinary services next time I am in need... read more

I actually will follow Dr Nicole anywhere she goes (and have for about six years) but I love the feel of Lake Harriet Veterinary. This is the best decision we've made only second to adopting our two dogs. Being a first time dog parent I'm a helicopter mom to the max - all my fur-parents out there know that sinking feeling when you hear your dog whimpering down the hall or hear that vomiting sound at 2 am. Whether it's the wellness check every year or me coming in for a panicked visit, EVERYONE at this clinic has been professional, loving and sweet to my little furbabies and to myself. I love that all the vets get down on the floor with my dogs and wait for my dogs to be comfortable with them before they start their exams. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! read more

Just got home from taking our dog to the vet for the first time... Great experience overall. Very friendly, informative, and seemed to genuinely care about our dog and her background. Tthe office is more cute and fun than white and clinical, which made me feel a little more relaxed. The total came to about $200, but honestly it was less than I thought it'd be for an exam, vaccinations, heartworm meds, and bloodwork. Hopefully we don't have to go back often, but looking forward to her next checkup! read more

A friendly neighborhood place staffed by people who genuinely love animals. One of the most unique aspects of the care here is that the vets offer some holistic & Chinese medicine perspectives upon request. We were given a print out of a few simple dietary changes to try for our dog & those tips have made a world of difference. They work with our pet insurance seamlessly & have made some stressful/unplanned appointments for our dog easier to endure. I recommended for my sister to bring her pup with a senstive-stomach over & she was equally impressed by the operation at Lake Harriet. Five Stars!!! read more

an update on my previous review...my precious dog ended up dying 6 months ago. Her body couldn't handle the vaccination that was given to her when she was very sick by Dr. Sarah W. I called her a couple months before my dog died and asked her why she would give a sick older dog a rabies shot and she initially agreed she shouldn't have given it to her then backtracked when I kept asking her questions to cover her tracks. This woman shouldn't be practicing and I will tell everyone I know to never set foot in this place. All they care about is the money they make, not the animals they treat. They do NOT practice holistic options...trust me! read more

Love all the staff in the clinic. They are so compassionate and patience to all their clients. We just had wellness screaming for our 8 weeks cavachon & Dr Jim Sinnings is so kind and knowledgeable. Wow. The is the best Vet clinic in town. They get you in, when you need to get it - they have lots of ideas-- ( from Diet to herbs, to great docs)- And so importantly they follow up. I like they have exam rooms where they sit on the floor with your dog on a matt, versus an old stainless exam room. They have rescue remedy and lavender oil in the exam rooms.. Very full rounded clinic-- all the docs are great, but if you meet Dr. Cathy-- she breaks the mold of a old dusty male vet with a white smock on. Strongly recommended. I have been to Lake Harriet Veterinary once and had a great experience. I brought my two cats (1 1/2 years old) for their first routine checkup, some shots, and to have soft paws put on both of them. Dr Jim has cared for our siamese cats for many years and we followed him here when they built this clinic. He has surrounded himself with an excellent staff who are knowledgeable and caring. I was reminded of this a bit ago when I made an appt. and they were so helpful, once again. Not even a year ago we had to make the decision to put our 18 yr old siamese to sleep. This was after much careful treatment and loving care by Dr Jim. The whole staff was amazingly compassionate. We won't ever go to another vet. read more

The care and service has gone downhill over the years. We have been going to this vet for 12 years. The last few years, whenever there was something wrong with one of our pets, we'd bring them in for exam/tests. After paying 200 to 600 dollars for it all, they'd never call us for the results. I would have to call them and then either more tests would have to be done or treatment was prescribed. If the treatment wasn't working or had adverse effects on our pets, they either ignored us or had the pet come in for more tests that again would cost 200 to 600 dollars. Only until we pushed them to give the proper care, would they do it and act very annoyed with us about doing it. So, they take your hard earned money and do little else. Beware and don't trust what they tell you. read more

Great care, very sensitive and compassionate staff. They provide evidence based care consistent with guidelines.

We had been clients at another vet for many years, but when they got bought out by a national chain their care dropped dramatically. I initially chose Lake Harriet Veterinary because I ride by on my way to work and I like the look of the place. I was very pleased with the care my dog got and have been bringing all my pets here for about two years now. They've helped me through two separate tumor surgeries on one dog, severe emotional/behavioral concerns on another, a cat with a thyroid tumor and all the routine bits that come from having 5 pets. The vets and techs are excellent and their front desk staff is great. They know me, know my pets and always make us feel very welcome. Expensive, predatory, and unethical - run away from LHV! LHV claims to provide a combination of holistic and traditional medicine, however in the time that we used them they provided no holistic recommendations for veterinary care. In fact, when we asked for advice on feeding a raw diet to one of our pets they suggested we look online and check out some books. Additionally, their services are overpriced when compared with their competitors. Perhaps the scariest thing of all is that this clinic does not obtain informed consent from the pet owner prior to performing tests and taking action. We went in to get updated vaccinations for our dog and instead they whisked her away, claiming to hear crackling in her lungs, and performed a slew of unnecessary and expensive tests, leaving us with an unexpected bill of $465, with no vaccines. This type of action is unethical and literally meets the definition of veterinary malpractice (i.e., not obtaining informed consent). When we asked for a credit or refund back afterwards they claimed that they were acting in our best interests and flat out refused. Even when we filed with the BBB they refused to provide us with resolution. We have since filed complaints with the MN Board of Veterinary Medicine and the MN Attorney General's office. At this point I don't even care so much about the money as much as I just don't want anyone else to fall victim to LHV's scummy, fraudulent, and predatory practices. Anyone considering LHV should run far, far away. Don't fall victim to their claims of providing holistic treatment. You're better off taking your pets nearly anywhere else. read more

This is vet is definitely very friendly; unfortunately, the quality of their veterinary care is quite marginal. This review is a stark opposite to all of all the reviews posted so far. The thing is that most pets are healthy, and most pet owners do not run into problems. A diligent and knowledgeable vet becomes necessary for the exceptions. We got a 6 weeks old puppy and brought and starting attending this vet for her care. Unfortunately, the care that we received leaves much to be desired. The American Association of Veterinary Parasitologists (AAVP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend strategic deworming for puppies and kittens. This entails deworming at 2, 4, 6, & 8 weeks of age, then again at 12 & 16 weeks of age (http://www.cdc.gov/parasites/zoonotichookworm/resources/prevention.pdf). We started bringing our puppy for routine appointments when she was 6 weeks old. LHV did not conduct a single dewarming, until she got worms 7 weeks later. Our puppy also got a urinary tract infection (UTI). When we came to LHV for help, they tried testing free catch urine but ended up doing a skin swab, either of which tests can only confirm the absence of a UTI, and it cannot inform a treatment course. When the puppy still had the infection after 10 days of antibiotics, we finally realized that it was time to take her a different vet. This new vet tested the puppy and treated her with antibiotics, which remedied the problem. This new vet also immunized her puppy for all the things LHV missed. They also told us about the deworming recommendation from CDC. Ironically the new vet is also much cheaper. We learned that vets that provide a high caliber of care are AAHA certifeid (https://www.aaha.org/professional/default.aspx#gsc.tab=0). LHV is not. So, if you are looking for a friendly vet and your pet has no health issues, this vet is a great place. read more

I took my puppies here after recommendations from several friends over several months. They have allot of staff who are extremely sweet and caring. I suspect many of them may be new as they aren't always as knowledgeable as I expected them to be. I'm not going to a clinic to have someone gush over my puppies, but rather because I trust them with my animals health. One of my animals injured himself so I brought him here and several days later he got kennel cough and passed it on to his sister. The treatment I received for the kennel cough was not what I saw recommended on other websites so I took the puppies to another clinic that gave the recommended treatment and they recovered within a few days. On two occasions I had issues getting a same day appointment for a sick puppy. One test I had run here cost 50% more than it did at another clinic. I would never put a price on my dogs health, but I also want to pay a fair price for good service. Prices seem to be on the high end compared to other clinics in the vicinity. Since I had lost trust in the clinics ability to give good, affordable treatment, I switched clinics and am much happier with my new clinic. read more

I changed to this clinic after having a Wellness plan with Banfield "Pet Hospital". Initially I switched to Lake Harriet Veterinary because they were just down the street and Banfield was taking too long to get to during the I-35W bridge detour (too long for my anxious cats anyway). I liked the idea of a holistic vet so I thought I would give LHV a try. I was not disappointed. The doctor took a lot of time with my cat and even picked him up and gave him a nuzzle when first meeting him. I also appreciated that they let me go back with my cat when they performed a procedure, something Banfield would not allow. Just as I wouldn't let a child of mine go through a medical procedure alone I wanted to be with my cat. Regarding the costs: I was a bit worried about the bill but was pleasantly surprised, especially with the cost of the prescriptions. The antibiotic prescribed was cheaper, much cheaper than what Banfield had charged; which is when I realized that Banfield was astronomically marking up prescriptions to make money. So, take a chance with Lake Harriet Veterinary, just because they consider alternative treatments doesn't mean you will pay more. I have no financial interests with this vet, just a happy client. read more

I created a Yelp account just so I could review this place. The staff was very friendly, but I did not like the veterinarians at all. I went the first time because my cat has a severe recurring upper respiratory infection and she had cat acne all over her chin. The female vet gave me some drops and peroxide and sent me on my way - without really answering any of my questions with answers I hadn't already found on the internet. I asked them to clip my cat's claws and they didn't tell me how much it would cost. I left paying almost $200 for no solution. My cat got worse, so I called and I gave them another chance. I saw another vet and paid another $100 to have a cat who still is congested all the time and has runny watery eyes. Will absolutely not return. read more

Oh, these people. They have been nothing but good to me and my pets. I switched from All Paws in disgust due to that clinic's judgy attitude and high pricing. I asked around for a clinic where it would be ok for me to say that sometimes I really don't like my dog and that I can't afford every single intervention they recommend. To be clear: I LOVE my dog. But he had awful behavioral issues for awhile, and what I really needed from a vet (and got from the vets at LHV) was validation that I was literally getting none of the benefits of pet ownership but plenty of the downsides. Feeling supported helped so much! It inspired me to work harder with my pup, take more classes, try harder to have empathy for and bond with him. And guess what...being supportive and nonjudgmental helped! This is opposed to the attitude at All Paws, which was so shaming. Also, God help you if you balk at any recommended treatment or diagnostic test at All Paws. It's as if you are abandoning your beloved pet. Sometimes people just don't have $600!! We do our best, but non-essential vet services sometimes have to be deferred or even declined. LHV have been so kind to me when I said I couldn't afford, for example, a teeth cleaning, for at least another year. There was no huge urgency; it was just that cleanings every few years are recommended. At All Paws they just assumed I'd do it. But enough with the negative stuff about another clinic. Can we just talk about how amazing the staff at All Paws are when your pet dies? Oh.my.gosh. They meet you in the back of the clinic and basically love you up as if you were a close friend or relative. They even do footprints if you want. The tech who helped me literally asked me if it was ok to take my sweet kitty out of my arms before she did so. And then she asked AGAIN if it was ok to go ahead and do the footprints. I swear it's like these people have social work degrees on top of their other training. It was godawful and traumatic to have my cat die in my arms, but boy, LHV made the aftermath as peaceful and sweet as it possibly could be. LHV works with Pets Remembered for cremation. They take care of the phone call and arranging transportation. All you have to do is sign a release. You don't even have to pay right that second!! And the incredible services and people at Pets Remembered deserve their own Yelp review. They could not have been more sensitive and gentle. I just felt so cared for throughout this tragic and traumatic time in my life. As a single person without many close friends in town, I needed this warmth and compassion more than words can say. read more

They are the best. They offer alternative treatments for your pet, i.e Chinese medicine. I took my Missy, aka the cat, here for years. When I had to pass her along to her next life, they were the clinic I turned to in need. read more
