Torn 'cause I only have an issue with one of their MODs. The rest of the staff seem friendly and nice, but this lady...geez, one of the most unpleasant people. I've been to tons of Value Villages and only seem to have a problem at this location, when a certain person is working. She seems to impose her own set of rules that don't make any sense. When she's working, if I have an item that doesn't have a price, chances are, I'll probably be leaving it behind. Case in point: Picked up a pair of vintage, black aviator sunglasses from the regular sunglasses wall. No price. Upon checkout, I give it to the worker who's managing the self-checkout and a while later, manager-on-duty prices it $24.99!!?? Lady, I grabbed it off the wall - not your overpriced showcase. If it was originally priced at $24.99, why would it be in the "wild" with the other cheap sunglasses? Another time, I asked her to reprice a girl's jacket that was priced as a women's. She was ARGUING with me that it was a women's! Jacket was for a 6yo. Completely miserable, unreasonable, right fighter, and seems to NOT want to sell things. Baffles me since it's a retail store. read more

I was there last week when they had a scarf that was on sale at the Bay for 12.99 when I showed them they said they would sell it to me for 15.99. The girls are nice the selection depends on the day and the value is not very good things with the tags still on with a price is always over priced at value village. I have donated thousands of dollars worth of goods hoping that people and students could get a fair price that is not the case. I don't know who is pricing the goods put even Marketplace did an article on the store. read more

I was a regular customer at your Bristol outlet, and a regular donor. However, after an incident earlier today, with your staff, I will not be shopping at any Value village store and will be donating to another charity. read more

Terrible experience. Workers are very rude and abrupt. I've been to so many value villages and never had such an experience. Is being an ass the part of this stores employment requirement??? ++ update had friends with the same bad experience and being racially profiled with no excuse. Save your time and money and go somewhere it's cleaner and they treat you with respect. read more

With this, Review #150, I have now written about every Value Village within Mississauga. Either I really love thrift shopping or I have no life. The jury is still out. I love this location, which makes me kick myself even harder because I never even visited until very recently. Sure, I passed it plenty of times while travelling to and from places, but I never stopped and went in until now. And I was so glad I did. I feel like this place is an untapped mine of goodness. Not only is it NOT picked over like some other VV locations (just look at their suits! Brooks Brothers! Ralph Lauren! Strellson! All $30 or less!), but this place has one of the cleanest tech/junk sections I've ever seen. It's clear that the staff are very mindful about this kind of thing, because the store is impressively organized and almost every inch is curated well. Sure, the paintings are still a bit haphazard, but you're never going to fix that issue. I came in here looking for books, and LORD HAVE MERCY, did I find them. A signed copy of Bob Woodward's "The Secret Man". Signed Kevin O'Leary books! More signed books than I could carry! For $6 a pop! This might be the best-kept thrift store secret in Mississauga. There's rows upon rows of goodness, and it's either being turned over at an incredible rate or there's so much good stuff flowing in that visitors can't keep track of it all. I came here with a friend who went crazy looking for clothing and ended up walking out with $30 in hardly-worn designer apparel for herself. The opportunities are endless. Not to mention the friendly staff! Sure, there are a couple who would rather get on with their day, but most everyone there is respectful and courteous. A rare sight indeed. This is one Value Village I'll definitely be revisiting as soon as possible, and one of the best thrift stores in the city. It's been a long, strange trip. Here's to another 150 Yelp reviews! read more

Scam artists at its best. They seal boxes so you cannot access the contents then sell it "as is". I am now stuck with an appliance that has 2 missing parts and does not work. This is terrible. At least be open about the missing content so consumers can make the best decisions on whether or not to make the purchase before sealing the box. This is taking complete advantage of people who rely on these stores to help them find affordable second hand working alternatives. read more

been here 3-4x, find one or no items per visit. rather spacious but either picked over or just bad selection. mens section tiny. most prices were surprisingly really fair. not too messy or crowded on regular days. Halloween decor takes way too much space. read more

Great location, cleaned, organized. We went looking for treasure and had fun. The staff was friendly.

Their prices are horrible!! $15 dollars for a blank red t-shirt!? Unbelievable! And the staff is rude. They need to treat their customers like people. They have a few good things every now and then but it doesn't make up for the prices and horrible staff! read more

I visited this location on Bristol on October 6, 2017. I found two boys t-shirts, 1 xL for 1.99 and 1L for 3.49. They were boys relatively the same...I took it up to the cashier and explain that they should be the same price. She was very rude with me. She took the T-shirt i bought, crunch it up and threw it in the bag. I was not impressed or happy. I have found that this location, the staff are very rude and not readily available to help you. I have been to other Value Village and the location is cleaner and the staff is willing to help you if needed. read more

Then I went and bring it back they told me to bring a receipt I told them I miss place it and the plastic bag is still on it and I tried due to I went and fine for it I start going to are garbage bin and finally fine it and now they don't accept it ! What a worse place I donate my stuff to you people and just to exchange it a big deal you been selling my stuff that I gave for free for fortune I think you must also lower your prices due to it's free stuff read more

The store itself is nice, but the parents don't watch their children. They let them run a mock and if something gets broken, oh well! I've seen in things I've donated turned to trash. One kid had a toy gun and tried to shoot me with it, parents did nothing. Another time a girl was riding a scooter and she crashed into me. Her Mother also didn't do anything. I know this sounds horrible, but those 12 years or older should be allowed in the store. read more

This is one of the better locations since it's clean, has good product and nice staff.

Store is cleanier than other locations and better organized. Staff is rude. Will yell at you if you look through a rack they are putting away. Need to retrain for better customer service. Would only donate to this location if the company puts more emphasis on how they treat their customers. Frequently replenished. Finds are better than other locations. read more

Some items reasonably priced. Mostly good customer service from cashiers and workers on the floor. Really poor customer service experience from two different female managers who I see working at the store regularly. Would for sure prefer another location if the stores weren't so far apart. Won't be stopping by this location again unless I'm desperate. read more

Used to like shopping here but the staff has changed, waiting my jewellery counter for assistance, staff looked but nobody helped. Cashier was extremely slow and when another employee opened up cash he did not take NEXT CUSTOMER IN LINE! Who does that??!! Unreal, needless to say I was really upset. Very bad customer service!!!! read more
