The pharmacists are on the ball as one of my last prescriptions was a brand I wasn't able to take due to allergies so they were Johnny-on-the-spot and ensured the prescription wasn't filled, my doctor was contacted and a new prescription sent to them (yup, didn't need to make another trip to the doctor for a new prescription). And every time I've needed a prescription refill I've called ahead and had it waiting for pick-up. Their pharmacists and pharmacist techs are very professional, personable and knowledgable and I trust them. However, dropping off a prescription and waiting in the store for it to get filled can be a bad thing...on my wallet that is. Yes, no drugstore is complete without cosmetics and seasonal times. The carry the brands of cosmetics I use. And, they fragrance department has more selection every time I go making my decision hard. The seasonal items are decent, but I will say I'm favourable to their Halloween junk - I'm a Halloween junkie! Oh ya, and their Easter candy too. Of course I frequent Shoppers Drugmart on a regular basis as I'm always stocking up on childrens Tylenol or Motrin and I'm pleased they have in stock the non-dye formulas of these. Sometimes it's fun to wonder the aisle and poke around and read through their magazine selection. Who knows, maybe I'll buy my luck lotto ticket here!

I have been here a few times over the years and always left feeling drained or frustrated from the interactions but as it is the closest compounding pharmacy to me I kept going. My last visit was definitely the last time I will ever go here. When I attempted to convey some of the problems I had encountered with the customer service the pharmacist blamed me for the issues. I was blown away by the hostile demeanour of the pharmacist and was left fighting back tears. When I expressed my concerns to the pharmacist I was not looking for a refund, just an acknowledgement that the situation wasn't ideal and that some steps would be taken to ensure the issues would be rectified in future visits; instead I was told "I don't know what more we could have done." I asked my friends who live in the area if they had experienced anything similar and got a resounding "THEY ARE THE WORST!"

I didn't feel like driving all over town today because I have bronchitis and I just wanted to get home, so I took my prescriptions here. The lady behind the counter said it would only be 5 minutes. I ended up spending more time than that at Chapters, so everything was definitely ready when I came back 20-25 minutes later. I had to get an inhaler (which I've never had before) and antibiotics. The pharmacist, William, took me over to a little private cubicle and explained to me how to use the inhaler, which was very helpful and useful. He also told me when/how to take the antibiotics, rather than assuming I knew to take them with/without food, etc. I really appreciated that level of personal care and customer service. I did actually stop in here a few months ago after an appointment as I needed some non-prescription items. I gave the lady the list and she came out from behind the counter and found everything for me. So helpful! I don't need prescriptions very often so I can't truly compare prices, but I can say that I don't have any benefits and my two items today came to $45, which seemed reasonable.

I'm only leaving a 4 star today because today they lost a star in my books. I fill a Boost prescription here, 5 cases a week. Every week I go in and pick my flavours off the shelf and bring them to the counter for them to process. This is if I don't call ahead and tell them the flavours I want. Well today everything was great up until I got home. When I got home I saw that every single box that I picked out and brought up had been replaced with other flavours. I didn't get a single box that I wanted. To make matters worse the lady who swapped them gave me almost all chocolate which I don't like that much. I called to ask what happened and was told that she was having trouble scanning the other flavours so she swapped them out for ones that would scan. I asked why she didn't let me know what was going on so I could be part of the solution i.e. picking the replacement flavours. She said she should have let me know, apologized, and will make sure it doesn't happen in the future. I'll change this to 5 stars if I don't have any issues in the next couple months here.

They are so knowledgeable about the different drugs and interactions that I really feel I have an extra line of defense with my health. They are always happy to answer the phone and any questions I have. During the pandemic, I simply called in to let them know what I'm low on and they had them delivered to my home the very next day. I didn't even ask for delivery! I can honestly say they are not solely about the money but more about the interaction with the customer. I've only been a few times but he now knows me personally when I call which is an amazing feeling and not something I ever received elsewhere.

The stores employees help me find the product I needed. I have not been able to go to Shoppers Drug Mart, the past 6 months. Was great going in early afternoon and got to look around at everything!
