My husband and I returned from a trip to Belgium with a burning desire to brew our own beer and we decided to go to Gnome Brew to learn about it. Not only did we learn about it, we left the store with all the tools and ingredients we needed to get brewing! David patiently took us through step by step from start to finish how to do our first brew. While my husband had already done some reading and research about the process, I walked into the store very unsure if we could do it, but I left Gnome Brew feeling completely capable. They also gave us a card with their email saying we could write or call with any questions we might have. What a great experience!! Bonus: they gave us some delicious cold beer to drink while perusing the store, you should go here!!!

Everyone was super friendly and they had everything someone could want for brewing and growing. I was pretty intrigued to start growing as my next hobby (once I master beer). The class was great, instructor was full of knowledge and she had been brewing herself for years. She even is a certified judge for beer competitions. In-fact her entire family gets involved in brewing at home. So she is just a a well of knowledge. I'm more of a visual learner and that's exactly how this class was taught. It was all visual and made me feel comfortable to get started right away at home. The class size was small and perfect and the samples let you try what some of the home-brew kits tasted like. I left with all my supplies (generous 20% off discount for taking the class) and plan to have my first DIPA ready in 2-3 months. I highly recommend both the store and the classes, these are some true professionals and I look forward to becoming a brew-master one day. I'll be back for supplies and for the future classes.
