Your patience is unmatched!! ------------------------------------------------- Fast Forward: My daughter has been with Blue Dragon Taekwondo Academy just a few weeks shy of 2 months. Each week she eagerly comes in to train and greatly looks forward to her interactions with the instructors. My child is a ball of energy who has issues with standing still and is consistently fidgeting. Her father and I chose to look into taekwondo in hopes of instilling more structure and focus into her life and we could not be happier with our decision thus far. Each class is slightly different from the last but there is always a level of repetitiveness in order for the students to lock in on techniques. The class vibes are fun & exciting but also provides strictness that instills discipline & self control. I appreciate the level of effort the staff puts out starting from day 1. Whether you have been with Blue Dragon for months or years on end VS stepping on the mat for the very first time, you are greeted and acknowledged by name. Each student is cared for and assessed by the instructors who note students' characteristic as opposed to being lost in a sea of pupils. 5/5 stars. THANK YOU to Master Tyler for your kind spirit, great skill, and amazing level of patience. Without you, this may not be possible!! My child's personality isn't for the faint hearted and you make it look easy. You're an MVP!

I enjoy being at West Coast Milpitas because it a very positive environment here even throughout…read moredevelopment I made many friendships and connections with my instructors. It been 2-3 years here and I kinda like it . Especially KJN sandy she has been a wonderful and supportive head instructor and she really welcoming and want people to success . The reason why I join MMA WCWMA Milpitas is because my parent found this place for $10 for 10 days deal and so I like how clean this place is . The instructors are positive and very welcoming. So when I join on my first white belt to black belt journey I got to scream loud with energy opening my commitment belt . I seen so much change in myself in my energy and how much sweat I have that I didn't have before I join . During martial arts here in West Coast Milpitas Ernie Reyes , I knowtice how easy martial arts journey from the beginning is , and basically learning something new and trying to do the technique faster and memorize. I made new buddies and I started to practice like my instructors advice . I couldn't be thankful to have met these cool instructors and martial artist that have influence my life . I know how long 4 years or 3 year's journey to earning a black belt is when it's hard and you have to overcome it . I practice and there's time I think I never made it to a new belt and I know how stressful that is when kids already made it to a new belt while I didn't . That when I know I had to practice and listen to music and relax and try to tell my body I will be fine and I just need practice . I try to be more positive instead of negative. When I'm negative i know I will get bad luck on something. So I try harder in those moments and I achieve myself stripes and I become more positive. Mistakes are just tiny and that I could fix them through out practice. I pray to god everyday to give me a good life and martial arts . I did and I love god and appreciate what I got when I practiced , positive , and pray. I would cry a little or just get nervous because of how hard it is but I master through it and I'm so proud of myself and West Coast Milpitas for being in my life and dedication. I would recommend here , it just that the instructors are welcoming and they are very nice and gentle . There practice needed in this karate system and it will fix mistakes . I know martial artist who show commitment will have to overcome challenging levels and intensity . It will be fine and just be positive and pray and try to practice . I didn't believe it till I do martial arts I begin having full energy and positivity and basically good character after I join . Karate is my ohana and part of me and I would like to thank every martial artist that I had taught me through this and has been part of my life . "When you spend time with someone then that will make them positive with you and get to know you more and you will get along with them ". It will take time here and don't rush , just practice over and over again you will be fine . They will make you physically ,emotionally , spiritually, and to have a good character. Just trust in karate and you will see throughout martial arts life and commitment how much impact you make in them and how much friendship and love you gave to them during your time . Karate will boost confidence and it will make you feel positive and happy throughout life . West Coast Milpitas is a great happy training place with fun activities to do. How I get to have fun in karate during my training is to train hard for it , it one of my instructor advice SBN Jose. Kjn Ernie Reyes thank you for dedication of your program it help me alot . Couldn't ever be thankful to have your program West Coast Milpitas in my life . I always pray, show love and have karate by my side throughout hard times .

The instructors that teach here are very very experienced and trust them very well to teach my son what it is to be disciplined. This studio has a few instructors that teach different stuff here. There are different types of martial arts here, from Tae Kwon Do, to Eskrima. Not much more I can review here, it's more of a try it out sort of place and I promise you won't be disappointed with their service. Friendly-ness and awesome fun students makes it worth while to come here. If you're serious about trying a martial arts place, especially Tae Kwon Do, I HIGHLY suggest coming here and trying it out. What I really liked about this gym was the variety of classes they offer. You can try different types of workouts and figure out what you enjoy without having to commit right away. They also let you borrow gloves and other equipment for free during the trial classes, which I thought was a really nice touch. I ended up trying the HIIT and DEKA classes, which were my favorites, and most of the coaches I had were really great. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the kickboxing classes wasn't as good. I specifically asked multiple times beforehand if it was okay that I was a complete beginner, and I was told that it was totally fine. However, when I showed up, pretty much everyone else already knew what they were doing, so I naturally felt a little intimidated. I also wasn't given much guidance despite being a first-timer. What really bothered me was that the coach called me "silly" when I wasn't able to follow the instructions. I understand that a fast-paced class can be challenging for beginners, but I didn't think making fun of someone who was trying something for the first time was appropriate, and it definitely put a damper on the experience. One other thing I wish they had was a proper locker room or changing area. They have gender-neutral bathrooms, but they didn't feel clean or comfortable enough to change clothes in, especially if you're coming straight from work. I really liked the variety of classes and the generous trial period, and most of my experiences with the coaches were positive. I just wish the beginner experience was a little more welcoming and that they had a better space for changing.
