This is a great place to tube in the snow. It is VERY affordable. We had a pass for two hours for $20 and they had a family package for 4 passes for $65. The last time I went to Perfect North it was $20 for one hour. We went right at 11am when they opened. There was a 20 minute delay from the groups that got ahead of us signing the waivers. The waivers are on iPads and there are only two. This would have maybe been better if we had not got there right at opening. They have a nice area to sit inside and get warm and have snacks. The snack bar has warm drinks and the normal snacks you would find at a concession stand like nachos with liquid cheese. The slopes are all the same and just a straight down tube run. At Perfect North the have designed some of the runs to be different slopes, humps etc. I love the have some fun, they let me wear my T-Rex suit and tube down the hill. Very fun place. Good pricing too. For $20 you get 2 hours of tubing. There is also a family deal for four people for two hours for $65 with each additional person costing $12. The line moves pretty steadily to get towed up the hill so it's not an unbearable wait. Two hours is plenty of time to get multiple trips in while lugging your tube back in line to ride again. The staff is friendly and seem to enjoy their job. I give them props for standing out in the cold while others have fun! There are tables in the "lodge" and a snack bar. We have never taken advantage of the snack bar so I cannot say anything about it. It's a fun time whether you are a kid or an adult! read more

Hidden gem in Preble County. People drive a distance to come here. Definitely worth it.

Lots of fun. The conveyer belt like thing that drags you up the hill is great. But for anyone with any disabilities be aware, there is a walk from the bottom to the part where they hook you up. There are a couple of tables to sit out front by the parking lot. I wish there were picnic tables where people could sit outside & see & watch the tubing hills from. Tons of fun. Came with the family for a day of tubing. They drag you up via a line so you don't have to walk up. You can link up with family if you want. The only problem was that I didnt have the proper footwear with tread, and so I kept slipping on my way up to get tethered in to be pulled up. read more

Going fast down a hill on an inner tube is always a great time. That's the easy part. This was our first time here because we got a deal on Groupon. Upon arrival, the gravel parking lot was a mud pit. It had been raining, so it is understandable, but it was clearly in need of more gravel. Invest in some gravel and make this better. The woman at the counter was less than friendly, and nobody really offered any info on the procedure. About 15 minutes into our visit, one of the 2 "lifts" stopped working, leaving only one line for all the people there. This resulted in a 15-20 minute wait to get back up the hill each time. When you pay for 2 hours of tubing, this essentially cuts your trips down the hill in half. I asked one of the guys at the top of the hill if they were going to fix it and get it running, he said "I don't know, I think they are just playing around down there", and laughed. While we are talking about the guys at the top of the hill, they were very unprofessional. One or more of them was always smoking. Getting to the top of the hill and inhaling a cloud of cigarette smoke isn't what I want. They also used foul language, and were generally just unhappy about their job. At one point one of the workers went down the hill and just left his tube laying in the middle of the run. He just got up and walked away from it and told the other worker who came down on the path next to him to leave his too. The other worker didn't leave it. They both disappeared into the building. It took one of the guests to pick up his tube and move it off the path after they finished their run, hitting his tube. Just lazy and unprofessional. The Groupon included "hot chocolate and treats" with the package. It was nasty watery hot chocolate and a single, generic chips-ahoy type cookie in a plastic bag. After that it was back out into the mud pit to try to get in the car without ruining it with all the mud you picked up. read more
