My favourite spots are Aritzia, Victoria's Secret, Sephora and of course Starbucks for either my Earl Grey or English Breakfast tea. Good timing and we are lucky as my bag has already broken! Just wondering why there are not a lot of customers shopping at the mall! We also dropped by the Winners to pick up a glass takeout box but most of customers are just doing window shopping over there! The temperature was so hot yesterday ! Our car was recorded at 31 degrees Celsius outside the parking ! I thought people should go the mall to have air conditioning especially for the baby kids!! It's about time to go home. It is a quiet place with almost everything you need. Post Office. Pharmacy. Save-On Food grocery store, RONA for hardware and home improvement. Fabricland. Pet shop. Several restaurants, Starbucks, Menchies yogurt, banking services (TD and BMO), nail salon, Burger King and more. Now that I know Save-On is here, I have another option besides Safeway from the skytrain station. I like how compact the square is. It is small but it makes it easy to walk from shop to shop. You do not have to traverse a huge parking lot just to get across. It reminds me of Newport Village in Port Moody. I find myself a new place to chill on weekends.

I do wish selections at certain stores were better, but that's not the mall's fault, it's simply popularity/age of the item (an older movie that didn't sell well not being sold at Sunrise for example) which isn't even the store's fault! While it is essentially a strip mall, this place is special because of the large outdoor plaza that runs through the middle. It has a food court, but not much of a selection, it needs an improvement on making the food court bigger. For unknown reason, my camera would not focus properly on Santa. Strange. Anyway, I like how it has 3 big stores: Save on Foods, Walmart, and Dollarama! There is a Holiday contest to win Lego, and I see there are A LOT OF ENTRIES since late November. Usually I do my weekly shop at the Park & Tilford Save On closer to my house, but if I have library books to take back or I need to pick up wine/beer, the Lynn Valley mall is perfect. There's Kin's for your produce, Westlynn Bakery for bread, Westlynn Meats & Seafood for fresh fish & specialty meats, a health food store that stocks my fave shampoo, the liquor store (apparently now open until 9pm!), and also the smallest, most inconveniently sized Save On Foods in the world. Luckily, by the time I get to Save On, I've already bought most of what I need, so I don't have to spend too much time in there. Then it's just a quick walk over to the library and my errands are done.

However, I do prefer Lynn Valley Pet Foods & Supplies across the street over the Pet Habitat in Lynn Valley Centre.
