It seems very organized and colorful I can't wait to see it grow These are the kind of thing I look for. Like to refinish the furniture and find different things that are unusual.

I used to love checking out this downtown thrift store. Since the recent remodel there seems to be a lot less shopping space. The front area has some clothing displays. The furniture in front is also more like a display area now, like in a furniture store. There are still a lot of rows of clothing on hangers. There's not much in the home decor or household/kitchen item categories now. They do have a parking lot now, so you no longer have to feed a meter while you're shopping.

Books are the only things here that are well organized. But they write prices in permenant marker across the covers, no bueno. It's a very large warehouse type building, and full of stuff. And there are sections of clothing, but nothing very convenient like other thrift stores that put things together by color or size. You have to have a lot of time to really pick through the huge amounts of stuff they have.

You really learn to appreciate Fresno vintage/thrift stores when you go to bigger towns where everything is expensive, even the vintage/thrift stores. This is probably the best thrift store in this little strip: it is the biggest and probably the cheapest. The back has a bunch of old cheap appliances and electronics. I found some awesome briefcases there and some cassette tape holders that I had been looking for. Stop by when you have time to look around. You will probably find something good!

I have found a great selection of books which were very useful for our homeschool. Of course I have to scour the DVD selection because physical media is all the rage right now! alas, it was mainly outdated or foreign and i walked away with only a few familiar titles. While I was back there i took a look at the electronics and found a brand new crockpot for just $15. i love that you can test out electronics to see if they actually work. i don't usually buy clothes here but this Halloween I was participating in a trunk or treat with a sports theme. At Thrift City I found a Jerry Rice jersey for $10 to wear to go along with our sports theme. the parking lot is normally pretty packed but it is big enough to find a spot without a long wait or needing to park on the street. Thrift City is next to the Burger King and across from the Windfall Donuts so grab you a donut right after you save that money! speaking of saving money, you will always leave here with a coupon! they offer 2 options for coupons after every purchase and they stamp it on the back of your receipt so don't ever throw those away! i happened to make that mistake but luckily when i was in line a lady turned around and offered me one of hers! that was so sweet! i got that down alternative comforter for only $7! a steal!!

I normally see lots of cool stuff and even walk out with treasures, but I only found 2 cool shirts and snugged at the overpriced vintage dish-wares. My friend was looking for a lamp and they had everything scattered. Not like this place to be this messy. Hmm

Sally does amazing content though and I'm happy for her and since there were so many great content creators for food already, my focus has shifted to the amazing second hand scene Fresno has. Listen, we're not the East Coast when it comes to antiques or designers because hello, one of the biggest Fashion Week is in New York. However, there are times when you will find treasures. I have been wanting to make my way to this thrift store and I came because I had a doctor's appointment nearby. It is the old 99 cents store and it was huge. I was going to need more time to browse everything. While I do love Coach, I love fabrics and animal skin and I found the most darling calf skin, mink, kisslock wallet. I deleted the photo. They have a little seating area like a library where they sell books and a curated vintage section. They do help out the community, I think, the unhoused and contributes to sober living. The cashier was extremely nice because I was so excited when I realized my wallet was on sale.

Shorts used to be 4.95 now they're anywhere from 7 to $9 at most major thrift stores. The same for shirts. On a random Tuesday with an hour to waste I stop in I look at all the housewares things like that stuff and nothing strikes my fancy. I don't really need any clothes because I just picked up three pairs of shorts and a shirt at the Goodwill most which has never been used. But I have time to kill so I looked at the clothes. Went through two racks got to the third and jackpot pair of shorts Callaway golf in my size never worn with tags. Under armor polo shirt for golf or athletics never worn with the tag on it in my size. Polo shirt looks like it's never been worn. Perry Ellis polo shirt black looks like maybe it was worn once. And another pair of black/hybrid / utility shorts all in all I've picked about $250 worth of new clothing up and paid 32 bucks. I wear a size 32 so they're hard to find good clothes in my size. I only stopped by here because last time I found a aluminum chrome plated cake pan with the locking flange they reminded me of my childhood for 10 bucks and I got my discount. It's hit and miss here but there's a lot of good buys on a random Tuesday.
