I use the drive thru ATM often though! They provide a decent variety of accounts that you are able to have through a banking institution, plus their rates for most of their products are pretty reasonable. I am grateful for their types of accounts they have for Youth, and being able to help my son learn financial responsibility at his age is very valuable. I highly recommend banking here!

I went to Bank of California in Visalia before I could even walk in the lady buzz me in at the door…read moreask me can I help you no my color and her color did not match so I'm guessing that's why she asked me if she can help me before she let me in upon me entering the bank I sat down in the chair and told my teller that I wanted to cash my settlement check I set my check down on the table and immediately two of the ladies told me you can't cash your check here unless you're a member I called before I even got down to Visalia and I spoke to someone I guess they couldn't tell what color I was over the phone they denied me cashing my check I asked the lady what did I need to open a bank account she told me well it makes no sense to open a bank account because you does not live in Visalia so I told her to give me my check back I immediately left that office and I immediately contacted corporate I made a report let corporate know that I have been racially profiled corporate called me back immediately gave me clearance to cash my $10,000 check without getting charged a money ordering fee nor a check fee I did let them know that I was racially profiled by each individual inside of that bank so I advise you if you are any other color then Caucasian you will not get your check cashed so I advise you guys to use a different branch or bank with someone else other than Bank of California

We started coming to this bank, thinking that it would help us refinance a car and every time we…read morehave tried, they've denied us. They say wait. Six more months wait six more months but every time you wait it doesn't matter they still deny you. Meanwhile, we already have a totally different car. So now we were staying with this bank just for the convenience because it's across the street. But whenever you go to deposit cash in the ATM, it spits it back at you and it does not allow you to deposit it. Sometimes it says they're full and it's just all around not usable. You can wait in line behind 15 cars by the time you get to the front of the drive-through ATM there's always a problem with it being broken somehow. So our next step is to leave the bank.

Everything about the inside and outside looks fresh and well done. My only real issue is the drive-up ATM. Unfortunately, it seems to always be out of money. I've tried to use it on three different occasions and each time I wasn't able to withdraw anything because it was empty. None of those visits were on busy weekends or around the first of the month, so there really shouldn't have been a reason for it to be out of cash. It's pretty frustrating to then have to drive around just to find ONE walk-up ATM and it have a long line of people. The building is great, but keeping the drive-up ATM stocked would make the experience so much better
