I have regrets about living in this complex and plan to move as soon as I can afford to do so. Their maintenance crew has been rude to us, the management ignores emails from concerned residents, they don't give you adequate time or notice when they plan to enter your apartment (or sometimes very broad/unclear notice, like "may be in and out of your apartment continuously for several weeks... M-F 8:30-4:30pm"), and they are selective about what sidewalks and exterior stairwells they are going to clear of snow and debris. Being that it's winter as I write this review, the snow removal thing has been a killer. I've fallen 5 or 6 times already this season due to their crews not clearing all the sidewalks and stairs. Snow removal via plow from the main driveways has been hit or miss (mostly miss). I've witnessed handicapped spots and wheelchair ramps sitting under snow or ice for over a week... makes me really wonder what would happen if these individuals had to get out! They poorly maintain the grounds in general... the stairs outside our building are cracked and uneven, so they are a tripping hazard, even in mild weather.
And if we want to talk about random annoyances? They publicize your full name and birthday in their newsletter each month. Not sure if that would bother other people, but it bothered me when I saw that shortly after moving in. I like having my privacy, but this apartment complex seems to think that posting this sort of personal info in their community newsletter is okay. Shouldn't expect any less from a complex who comes into apartments to change your light bulbs to energy-efficient ones without asking. Offering or dropping off new energy-efficient light bulbs to residents is appreciated, but going into my closets and bathroom to have your crew change them for me? No thanks. I don't want strangers in the private areas of my home unnecessarily.
I urge you to use caution signing a lease at this place.

Edit (1.25.16):
It's winter again, and we've just had our first big snow storm. Plowing of parking lots and clearing of sidewalks has not improved a bit. Currently, 2 days after the snow has stopped, there is only a single-lane clearance throughout the parking lot for vehicles to pass through. They do not clear out parking spots. We literally overheard a neighbour talking to the plow crew, asking them if they could plow out a few parking spaces (without cars in them), and the plow crew said it wasn't their job. Great. Tenants have had to shovel out the common sidewalk and stairs into our building because this complex does not provide that service, especially if you live in the rear of any of the buildings. I am going to have to buy my own salt today, because I know they probably won't throw that down either. I fear I am in for another winter of slips and falls. I am surprised this place has never been sued. I have sincere regrets about living here. read more
