I'm going to try to keep this short because I want people to really read this especially if you are a woman. This man is masquerading as someone who really cares he doesn't, he is 100% in it for the money. I had a consultation with him a few months ago and all he did was interrupt me. I could not get a word in edgewise. He was completely not listening to me at all. Anytime I tried to speak. He interrupted me, which I found infuriating. I was having problems with my neck and he did a few adjustments and I left feeling pretty OK. He wanted me to go to Hackensack to get x-rays mind you this was a holiday weekend. I had one day to get these x-rays and it didn't work out for me, I just didn't have the time. The next appointment I had I went in without the x-rays and he berated me. He sat back in his chair, crossed his arms and spoke to me so condescendingly I had to interrupt him and say "I do not like the way you were speaking to me" He knew that he effed up because it was all over my face...he said whoa whoa OK let's start over and at that point I was not interested in starting over. I was done with him. He was so upset that I didn't get the x-rays for whatever reason I have no idea. He said he couldn't treat me because I didn't get the x-rays done blah blah blah, but he had no trouble treating me the first time I went in and he asked me how long did the adjustment last and I said two hours..he adjusted my neck and it felt OK just OK for two hours and then it went right back to the pain I had before now here is the really problematic part when I left the office the first time he gave me a big hug a very close hug which to me is completely inappropriate and then on my way out, he yelled (yelled) "give me a good review!" To me this was totally unprofessional. Now my second visit I knew it was going to be my last. If I was a man there is no way that Mr. Dipasquale would have spoken to me the way he did. There is absolutely no way. He even went so far as to have his assistant call me instead of himself when I complained, and I knew he was listening in on the background to what I was saying, obviously he was very concerned that I was going to leave him a bad review which I 100% am right now. There are so many other good chiropractors in the area in fact, three doors down from him in Maywood, New Jersey is a chiropractor. I suggest anybody ESPECIALLY A WOMAN to not go to Philip Dipasquale as your chiropractor. This man thinks very highly of himself. I warn all potential new clients to seek elsewhere. Unless you like being spoken down to in a super condescending way by a very little man. (In stature and mindset)

He would alternate between looking over my shoulder as I filled everything out to pacing like he had way too much coffee. I have had acupuncture before so what took place next was insane. Usually the acupuncturist talks to you about what the issue is, places the needles, dims the lights, puts on spa music and leaves the room WITH OUT interruption for 20 minutes. This place had very loud music (soft hits but VERY loud), someone WALKED IN a few times during my treatment, the door to the junk space was wide open - just not a very relaxing experience at all. This man was off his rocker. BTW - he never introduced himself so I have to call him "this man" I'll admit this man did more than I expected, but after an hour and a half of being pulled, twisted, and climbed on, I had enough and asked to leave (did I mention I only made an appointment for acupuncture). This man actually climbed on my back and pounded my muscles to "loosen" them. The muscle simulators that he put on and the cupping while he did the acupuncture was a nice touch, but the rest was just bat shit crazy - and someone that kept coming in and out of the room while I was barely dressed was just not okay. Very unprofessional set up - I was way more stressed leaving that office than when I walked in. Bat. Shit. Crazy.

I guess their name really means we won't help you unless your spinal deformity is so advanced that you can barely walk. What a huge miss. How AI keeps generating this practice as a top option for adult scoliosis surgery must be a glitch of some sort. It can't be for real. And what kind of sense does it make to have your patients who are in excruciating pain wait 4 hours to SEE THE PA NOT EVEN THE SURGEON! I did ask a couple of times while I was waiting how much longer it would be and the really rude receptionist kept saying "it shouldn't be much longer". I guess I'm the idiot for believing her. I would have left but I had already invested so much time in waiting, I was sure if I left it would have been just that minute before they called my name. So I stayed. If you're being referred to this group I have to wonder who referred you and how much confidence you should have in that referring physician if they think these guys are really great.
