Rang the owner at BAM and he said let me look into this and will get back to you, which he did. Traced the job back and found that it had not been done, empolyee on last week of job, he promply refunded the money for that and we are very impressed with all he did for us. I have nothing to do with Norris motor group but when you read some low reviews below it seems to be due to the customers fault, as a business owner myself. please rate a business fairly, if you don't leave a deposit why would it be held for you. try ordering freight from down south, what used to take days does take weeks to get now and you are not the only customer they are serving. calling everyday to chase a part up wont make it arrive quicker. lets keep family businesses going like this, trust me when you only have big players in the market prices go up. just look at fuel prices.

Then they extended it by another week, making it three weeks. After that, they deferred it by yet another week. Today, they are saying it will be ready next week, which will make it a total of five weeks. This kind of service is unacceptable. They don't seem to know when they can finish the task, and if that's the case, they shouldn't have taken the car in the first place. For the first two weeks, they blamed RACQ, claiming that approval was delayed. But what are they doing now? They've deferred the completion three more times since then. Last week, they said the car was painted and needed to dry, and it would be delivered this week. Today, they're saying the same thing again--that it's painted and needs to dry. This is absolutely absurd and frustrating.

I do have to add a disclaimer that the extended time may have been my fault, as I was asked if I needed my car back by a particular time and I made the potential mistake of saying I had the day off and was going to wander around the suburb, "so no hurry". I was advised that I'd get a phone call before any work above and beyond the service's standard labour was done - "should be soon, around an hour or so". Three hours later (when I was a bit done with wandering) I figured I'd better call them, in case they'd gotten my number wrong or their calls hadn't been going through while I was burning through data on my phone, or some other excuse. No worries, hey! They only just had my car up on the blocks. Again, like I said, I will claim responsibility for the delay. Make sure you give ABS a pick-up time and I reckon everything should be fine. I was quoted decent prices (eventually, but still in advance) for the additional stuff my car needed, the gents were all lovely, and in the end the timing turned out quite well for me - I got the "come and get it" call just as I'd finished lunch. I would definitely entrust my car's servicing to Bob and the crew at ABS Woolloongabba again.

Being a female, its really hard to find a mechanic that will actually do the job they're supposed to do and I have had some pretty bad experiences with dodgy mechanics. They're a little pricey, but you get what you pay for and they explain everything without making me feel like a silly girl who doesn't know anything about cars. I've never had a problem with any of their work. They're also really close to Milton train station so its convenient to get to work once you've dropped your car off.

I'll never deal with WestPoint again. A few years ago I…read morebought car through the WestPoint Nissan, they were an absolute nightmare. I had a cooling off period because I bought a demonstrator and wanted to make use of this time to confirm some basics things that I forgot to confirm during the deal - stuff like, has the car been serviced, will it be serviced if it missed services - how will this affect the warranty, can I buy the tint and have this applied prior to delivery. They refused to speak to me because they didn't want me to give me a reason to pull out of the deal (not that I planned to) - typical car sales technique. So I decided to use my statutory rights and cancel the deal because noone would speak to me. That is when the fun began! The sales manager called me up and abused me, told me they would change the time stamp on my email so that it was no longer within the 24 hour period, advised they would keep my deposit and if I wanted it I would need to take them to court. It was an absolutely horrible experience when buying a new car is meant to be exciting! Out of fear of losing my deposit I stuck with the deal. When picking up my car they applied a WestPoint sticker to it, even though I has asked them not to! So I peeled it off while it was still fresh before I drove away. The sales manager came over to me and told me how rude I was for doing that. WTF... it was my car and I specifically asked them not to apply their branding and they did anyway! After getting the car, of course it had not received a single service despite having a few thousand KMs on the clock and despite the Nissan service centre being attached! They did rectify that and stamped the logbook. The service people and the bus driver were great, it is just the sales people that made this such an awful experience. More recently I bought a new car through Alfa Salters. Unfortunately Salters was acquired by WestPoint and I got my car serviced through them. The Alfa service was horrid. I was charged $200 more for a logbook service than was quoted over the phone. And they advised me that I did not have a suspension issue when I clearly did. I told them this was not right as I can feel the suspension issue and also hear it when going over bumps, they said I could bring the car in again but if they 'found nothing 'again they would charge me for the check. Today I took my car to EuroMarque in the Valley, they checked out my car and new suspension parts are being flown in from Melbourne because they found a very obvious problem. They even washed my car and treated me like a valued customer. I don't care that this service centre is further away from home, I'll never deal with WestPoint again.
