She was so sweet and seemed really happy to be able to help us, she brought the cannons out and charged me. She did let me know not to look at the screen because it does say the gender when charged. Once my transaction was done she made sure it disappeared from the screen so I didn't accidentally see the gender. She also used a black out marker to hide the gender on the cannon. I wish I would have gotten her name because she does deserve the recognition for going above and beyond for us. (Thank you!!) While I was looking for candy I asked for balloons (baseball theme) I've gotten balloons here many times. I got a total of 6 balloons. One was a number 6 the other was a baseball set with 4 regular size foil balloons and one baseball foil a little smaller than the number 6. I was charged $20 helium fee that was equivalent to 24 balloons because according to her the number 6 was equal to 6 regular balloons. I spent a total of $96.00 at this store She did not disclose that there was a helium fee and I never actually said I wanted helium. I was distracted shopping still and going in and out of the store to talk with my sister in law about the size of the balloons because our babies were sleeping in the car. After I paid she quickly put the receipt in the bag with a smirk. I asked to see it and then proceeded to question the charges. The lady had the nerve to say out of respect she didn't tell me the price and that I should have asked before hand. She refused a refund and refused to answer my questions or explain the calculation behind the (14) helium $20.00 charge. I left very emotional because she was trying to make me feel stupid and then was annoyed I couldn't speak Spanish. I will never be going here again because her attitude and not disclosing hidden fees. This bouquet of 6 balloons cost me $50.00. Do not spend your money here.

My friends and I are both fully grown adults inquiring about squishy's, and the employee could not be more positive, kind, and helpful. This interaction made me remember that some people actually do love their jobs.
