I received home medical equipment (oxygen) from you in June after being hospitalized for pneumonia. I came home on supplemental oxygen, and contacted your company as soon as I got home to make sure oxygen would be delivered to my home before the tank the hospital gave me ran out. I was assured you would deliver it within three hours. However, three hours later, as my oxygen was running out, I contacted you to see when you would be delivering and was told you forgot to tell the driver and I wouldn't be receiving oxygen for another hour because the driver couldn't get to me until then! I should have known from the beginning there were going to be issues! Unfortunately, another issue was that you were always out of oxygen when I would come to swap the tanks, and exasperated I finally changed to another company one month ago. Your company picked up my equipment from my house one week ago, yet since the equipment has been picked up we have received a letter and multiple phone calls saying we need to drop off the equipment! I have tried to call you three times to clear this up, and am told I am the first person in the queue, but each time I have sat on hold for over 20 minutes! I don't know what is going on with your company, but I have none of your equipment so please quit harassing me! read more

This company doesn't deserve to survive as an entity. I dealt with the laziest, most unprofessional and uncaring people. Every step of the way they screwed something up, and refused to answer phone calls or emails from me or my Dr. or my insurance. When I finally got my approval and my equipment, the supplies were 6 weeks late and didn't fit the unit they gave me. I can honestly say that they didn't do anything right in the painful 8 months I dealt with them. Do yourself a favor and run for the hills if your Dr refers you to them. When I used to order supplies through Valley Home Medical their service and billing was fine. However, my insurance does not cover them. So I stopped buying supplies. I told the office staff and I thought that would be the end. NOPE! I have been getting robo calls at least 2-3 times per week. Every time, block their number they literally call in on a different line. I honestly do not know how to get it across to them that I have no need to do business with them at this time. PLEASE! This is a terrible service! They bullied my husband. They told us they came out to our house to deliver oxygen tanks... They never came but pretty much told us they did... We have no reason to lie about this. Recently he called to get new tanks delivered and said they only come out every 3 months. When did that change? They did a couple of no shows too. My late mother is being sent notifications about her oxygen concentrator not being paid for by the insurance company and that she still has the machine, which is odd, since it was picked up. My brother, son, and daughter were all at her apartment clearing it out when the O2 concentrator was picked up. Of course if she is deceased the insurance company isn't going to pay, she's not breathing so she doesn't need the oxygen..... What a rip off! If only a score of 0 starts was available I would have preferred to give that score. I have never felt so taken advantage of and ripped off in my life as I did after my dealings with this group. They got me out the door with unusable equipment. Of course it had a satisfaction guarantee but they failed to mention that only one employee could work with this and she was gone the day after I got my CPAP for almost the entire guarantee time. Trying to make an appointment to come in and return the equipment was very difficult, I was accidentally hung up on and then for three days no answer to my calls until I used a different number to call from and then they answered. Then for the second time I came in for an appointment they scheduled only to find no one there who could help again. When I finally got them to accept a return only a small portion of the equipment was returnable and now there are insurance issues. I work closely with Valley Home Medical to set patients up with home 02 and other durable medical equipment on discharge from Acute care. I find they are easy to work with and I can always count on our Valley Reps to make sure the initial set up in the home (or home like setting) is taken care of in a timely manner. We've also used Valley to set up multiple Trilogy Machines for our more complicated respiratory patients and they have come through with flying colors when other companies have been very disappointing when we've requested this type of equipment. Providing oxygen service for our Medicare population is very difficult for any company, these companies don't get reimbursed very well, but Valley still takes it seriously and personally, regardless of the payor source. No company in this business is perfect, they have a very difficult job as they have to balance service for the patient while keeping within Medicare regulations which are very stringent. Valley works with us to insure our Medicare patients are taken care of. Valley has helped us out multiple times with some of our most fragile patients to insure a safe discharge when our patients need oxygen for transport and set up at home. Out of the multiple available Home oxygen and DME companies in SLC, Valley is one of two companies that I truly trust to get our patients set up properly. read more

Honestly, if I could give then less than 1 star I would. They have mishandled the billing to my oxygen concentrator, CPAP machine and supplies so many times. This results in countless phone calls to their billing department (who are useless in resolving anything) and my insurance company. They cheat, steal and lie to elderly people and send inaccurate invoices that the patient has to then show proof of their inaccuracies, in order to resolve. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They were referred by my PCP (who they bribe with office lunches and treats, in return for referrals). read more

Having worked in Medicare home health and hospice for 30 years and with many dme companies. This place should be shut down. Noooo customer service and bills for supplies that I as the patient never got. I finally called their supplier and got it straightened out but stay far far away from this Valley Home Medical. I am going to file a complaint with Medicare and the State of Utah. read more
