I found Valley Eye Professionals to be a very well run professional office. The waiting room was not crowded. The office staff was pleasant and efficient. I was seen promptly. Both the Optometrist and the Ophthalmologist were easy to talk to, responsive to my questions, professional and knowledgeable. INTILI, who was pompous and wanted to be treated like she was the one paying for the service. She needs to come off her high horse. INTILI was the most RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL Dr. I have EVER met. I was going here for years and loved it but for the last year, I'm not sure if it's under new management, but they have no respect for your time and respect as a patient. DR. Went here first years. Its changed drastically. This is the second time (and last ) that the prescription they wrote did not work. I paid $200 for contacts -non refundable. I put the contacts in and all print was a huge blur. Went back. The new dr spent 10 minutes with me. Wanted me to open the 1 pack of contacts I am able to get a refund for. He only had 1sample so he couldn't test but told me it should work. This after I sat in the room 1 hour after my appointment time. Well....it did not work. Had an 11am appt today and I'm still sitting in the waiting room. 11:30. Haven't even been called to the room where I will sit and wait. Out 3 personal days and $200 which they will not work with me on even tho it was their error -and hours of wasted time. Apparently only their time has value. STAY AWAY. read more

Very poor front desk experience . Listened to front desk staff berate a patient and caregiver ,talk about the patient in the open where everyone could hear their rudeness. Very unprofessional and had to wait for over an hour for my scheduled appointment. Trying to get someone to pick up the phone to make an appointment was impossible, and after reading the reviews i should have avoided this practice. To the front desk staff that talked horribly about a patient imagine how you would feel if that was your family member that was berated in front of others in a Drs office. You don't belong working at a front desk if you cannot be professional and act decently. Horrible disgusting experience and will not return. read more

I am a new patient and was trying to make an appointment with them. First time about 2 months ago, after many tries of the answer machine, I finally was able to speak with someone. She asked me about my healthcare information, I needed some time to pull up my healthcare card from my wallet, after like 5 secs wait, she just hang up. When I called back, no one answered anymore. Just recently, I needed to see an eye doctor again. I figured maybe give them a try. I called 5 times to schedule an appointment, no one answered. So I left a voice mail, a lady actually called back and asked for more information, when i called them...you could've figured by now, answer machine and no one ever called back...I don't understand what management would allow a business to run like this...very rude and disturbing. read more

WARNING if your time is valuable to you do NOT book an appointment here. I waited over an hour for each visit. My last appointment I walked out after 50 minutes. Absolutely absurd!!!! First off, the staff is rude. No manners. The check in time is a mess. Then you have to wait 2 hours to see a doctor.

I only went there because this was close to home, waste of time. Horrible experience, especially with the rude front desk personnel. Impossible to get medical information regarding past visits and what was done, per my Family Doctor request. Ridiculous, I will have to pay again for the same eye-exam I did in this office and paid out of pocket, again, with my Family Doctor referral, because this office is unable to provide ANY information. People, stay away! Also...I guess "seasonal allergy" (which I do NOT have) is the only reason why I have gritty eyes for more than six months, and the "artificial tears'' is the only remedy. read more

I've worked in the healthcare industry for 45 years, & I've rarely seen a practice so blatantly dedicated to making money rather than delivering service. Their providers seem to have good credentials, so I hope their professional efforts are good. However, I showed up early for my appointment, & was surprised to hear another patient announce she had an appointment with the same clinician at the exact same time. I was taken back by a technician 20 minutes after my appointment time for preliminary services, & it was 40 minutes before I saw the doctor. I've usually had more thorough eye exams in the past (& I've been wearing glasses since I was 7, so I know the difference). I have a different type of practice, so maybe this comparison isn't fair, but ... I never double-book appointments, & I rarely start with a patient more than 5 minutes past the appointment time. The final insult was this. My eyeglass prescription was printed out, & I was told to retrieve it at the onsite optician shop. The optician was occupied with someone else & I had to wait another 10 minutes before I could get the damn piece of paper. Well, even if I had been thinking of getting my glasses there, this experience would have made me change my mind. Shame on them for treating people this way! read more

As a new patient trying to make an appointment, it was as if they were doing me a favor by answering my call. They were rude, unapproachable and made the appointment scheduling uncomfortable. If my doctor did not recommend them I would have hung up immediately. When I saw the doctor she was great. Now trying to make a second appointment, I got hung up on the first time. Hopefully they will call back. I truly hope they restructure their front end processes or they will not be in business long. The doctor was great but if the patients can't get to them, it doesn't make a difference. Poor management and customer service and with all of the other reviews you would think they would have made some changes by now. read more

It saddens me to read the prior posted reviews on yelp. The physicians in this practice are highly educated, top notch ophthalmologists and ophthalmological surgeons with the finest skills in the Philadelphia area. I'm a discerning consumer and I have compared this practice to others from Philadelphia to Boston (Harvard). These physicians are caring for many complex patients In addition to routine eye care. They do so with great skill and compassion. As a patient, I was not just an account number. I was educated completely prior to, during and after my surgery. I never had problems with direct access to care at any time. I was always given the time that I needed by the physicians to "walk with me" through my course of therapy which lasted six-full weeks. They were there for me when I needed them and I'm certain that that's what every patient wants, a talented compassionate physician who takes care of them until their therapy is complete. I promise they are worth much more than you or your insurance company are paying for their services. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. My health especially my vision is worth budgeting a few hours worth of time. Without your health, all the time in the world is for naught. I know many of us have spent much more time waiting for other service industries to help remedy our televisions, computers, plumbing and heating issues. Again, my health is worth much more! read more

If you look at google, there is a similar review. Their front desk staff, especially - Shannon, needs some customer service training. I never even made it to see this doctor, as Shannon was absolutely unhelpful and cold in the making of my appointment. I work in the customer service industry and can usually communicate well with anyone - but the when my questions about my appointment specifics were meant with one word replies, including not even telling me the name of the doctor I was to meet with- I canceled the appointment later in the day. When I asked to "please speak with someone else", Shannon's reply was "i don't take my phone calls personally". My response - "well I do as I am a new patient". It's ashame as my neurologist recommended this doctor, but I cannot deal with their front office staff. Shame on them. Patients are calling in need of specific eye tests, which can be stressful and uncomfortable - making the appointment shouldn't be stressful. read more
