They should update their hours - we drove an awfully far way to get there so it was a bummer to see 3 staff members walking out closing doors saying no more customers. I'm not sure if we will ever find reason to go back there since we were out of place visiting a family member in the area. Seems like a really cute shop - probably a great local spot and unfortunately just a weird fluke experience. The employees were really friendly about it but it was just a bummer. If they want NEW business I think updating hours online would be beneficial.

I will post an image of the strawberry/matcha muffin (which they call a loaf, but it isn't) and it's half the size of a typical muffin. The reason this will possibly be my last pastry? They just charged me $5.50 for the tiny muffin. I can almost hear Vince Vega tell my Mia Wallace , "that's a $5 muffin." At least it was moist and tasty, but it's not like it came from Ibis bakery in K.C. or Blackhole even, which is amazing. The baristas here are nice, but this is one of the few places where I've noticed the baristas change frequently. Anyhow, the coffee is still perky and tasty.

I just hustled over to the counter to order my drink and went to the library. Again, loved the drink and would have loved to have stayed. Sigh...this was a nice place for quiet evening options in the L.S. area, particularly for places that open until 9; however, they began hosting karaoke, open mic nights, and the like. Nice option, if this is your cup of tea, and understandable because they needed the business for the evenings. Kudos to them for getting more business this way. It appeals to the folks around here. Maybe, I'd find it appealing if a coffee shop had an open mic night for poetry and prose, sort of how the Beatniks did it in the late 50s to 60s, but that's just me.

The service was friendly, I was greeted when I arrived and thanked when I left, they had a good selection of syrups, I don't believe they were house-made so I appreciate them at least having a wide variety. It was spacious and the bathroom was clean. The latte was good, nothing to write home about, I got one with banana and toasted mocha syrup, the quiche was the better of the items, it was tasty and a modestly sized piece, nice for a small bite. I would definitely visit again if in the area!

I love that this provides business and entrepreneurial students with real-world experience. This is a fantastic idea. The employees were great, explaining the shop's backstory and their plans for this next year of students. The employees also mentioned that a lot of the pieces on the property were made by other groups. There's a giant metal coffee cup at their entrance which was welded together by the school's student as well. Students also created some of the artwork in the building. This is the type of shop that the community needs! I had a great experience, and their coffee was top-tier. The prices are relatively low, and the quality is excellent, making this the perfect place to spend time. I got the birthday cake latte and felt that I got a good value for what I paid for. It was so tasty and better than other birthday cake lattes I've had in the past. There are multiple spaces inside and outside that can cater to any group. Upstairs, there's a large dining table with plenty of seats, great for meetings. The inside and outside seating areas can accommodate smaller to mid-sized groups. I will be returning, as I could have stayed there all day and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and great coffee.
