My husband and I went to Valle for dinner on a Friday night and were impressed! The ambiance was perfect for a date night. We were lucky to get street parking right in front of the door but there is also a garage very close. The food was fantastic! For antipasti, my husband had the octopus carpaccio and it was very fresh, while I had green asparagus with prosciutto and Parmesan, which was also very good. No over cooked asparagus! For our entrees we had the spaghetti with Parmesan and truffle and the ravioli with mussels. I was afraid the spaghetti would be too heavy with cream and the truffle overwhelming but it was actually light and subtle with a perfect balance of truffle. The ravioli was also delicious. Dessert was not needed but we indulged in the semifreddo and like everything else, we loved it. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Stuttgart but not a lot of good ones. Valle is my favorite because the food was authentic (I have spent a lot of time all over Italy) and the service is great. The ambiance is nice and somewhat modern which is a nice change. Came across a photo of their Spaghetti Frutti di Mare (seafood pasta) online and was blown away by the colors and peoples reviews so I decided to give this a try. Dropped by when they were not that busy and chose a seat next to the window, told them I was there alone but the server came by ANOTHER two times 1. Trying to pour my water into the other glass 2. Asking me if I'm alone again. If you are a busy restaurant and my area is full of people, sure that's understandable, but I was the only table for that whole half of the restaurant so what's the excuse here? It was SO HARD to get on hold of anyone to 1. Get water 2. Order 3. To pay, and literally they gave my desserts to me when the entree came like are you kidding me? What service am I paying for? Back to the food: If the flavors are out of the world I would forget how bad their services is, but it was okay. No wonder they say it is "the best Spaghetti Frutti di Mare in Stuttgart" because it is really not special if you are out of there. Adding black truffle gave it another layer of flavors which made it more interesting but I definitely didn't get a bough seafood as what I saw on other reviews, the shrimp is hella dry and one of the clam was empty. The sauce was ok but I have tasted much better ones in a lot of places. Only thing that stops me from giving a 1 star is their tiramisu, it is really good!!portion is great and it gathers all the good points which a good tiramisu has. I wish it was served after my entree is finished tho don't know why they were rushing. After waiting for ages the server finally came back to give me the bill, in between he literally served new tables, did everything but coming to my corner, and that's when I know I would never ever come back here despite of how good their food looks on social media. This place is pretty good and consistent. Came here twice with colleagues. Ordered a custom penne with pesto sauce the first visit and the spaghetti w truffles the second time. The bread is hit or miss, the bruschetta is decent but if you get stale bread chances are the bruschetta will be stale. Unlike many other restaurants in Stuttgart, the staff here is super nice/awesome. I've had better Italian in Stuttgart, so I can't give it 4 stars and very few places actually deserve 5. Make sure you come early for dinner or have reservations as it gets super crowded. read more

Came here with a group of friends for a friend's birthday. One of my friends is actually from Italy and she liked this place, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Bruschetta Caprese and it was disappointing. I've had better bruschetta. This did not even taste fresh at all. I also had the truffle pasta and it was okay. I personally think it needed some chicken in it but that's because I'm American. My Italian friend would kill me since it's not how Italians eat their pasta haha read more

Just ok Italian food. Nice ambiance though. The pizza isn't traditional Italian pizza, it was a bit thicker and a bit doughier. We ordered the margarita pizza, it wasn't bad but wasn't great either. We also ordered the eggplant appetizer with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. Nothing special, wouldn't recommend this. As for a pasta, we got the spaghetti with black truffles and Parmesan cheese. The portion is huge so don't order too much. The pasta was al dente which I really liked, not enough shaved black truffle on top but overall the taste was quite delicious. If you're just visiting Stuttgart for a few days, I wouldn't go to this restaurant. I'd try to find something else. read more

Had our lunch here before we left for Denmark. Pretty busy for lunch. Best dish- Spaghetti with Parmesan cheese and shaved black truffle. Really super yummy and very fascinating how they make it. We ordered pizza, grilled antipasti, salad, mussels with pasta and salmon. The spaghetti was the best dish. I only paid 107 Euros for 5 people's lunch with drinks. I went to Valle late on a Friday night and they were able to accomadate my friend and I immediately. We ordered some wine which I HIGHLY recommend. We had the pizza and the truffle pasta. I wanted to like this place. Before the food came out, I was already saying "we should come back here!" I liked the casual atmosphere, yet they had real white tablecloths, candles and wine glasses on the table. But... The €14.50 truffle Parmesan spaghetti was cold and the truffles smelled like sperm - are they supposed to? There was too much tuna on the tuna pizza - it was weird - and the tastes didn't meld well, though the crust was good. Finally, we were too full to try dessert. : ( I hate it when that happens. We stopped at Valle while visiting Stuttgart's Christmas markets one weekend. The restaurant was packed, even at 6:00, but they fit us in a small table in the back with the note that the table was reserved at 7:00. We had a 7:00 appointment so it was perfect for us! They got us in and out with a delicious dinner within an hour with time to spare. The waiter didn't speak English and my German is spotty, but between the two of us, we were able to order without a problem. All the staff we met were personable, efficient, and nice. The mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto was quick and delicious. For an entree, I got the truffle spaghetti and my husband ordered the veal. Both were good on their own, but together they were great. The creamy truffle sauce needed something salty to offset it and vice versa for the veal. If you're in Stuttgart looking for a solid Italian meal at what we considered reasonable prices, definitely stop by! read more

A really pleasant and authentic Italian restaurant. We were very nicely surprised by the tasty Sicilian wine. As for food, the pasta was delicious and so was the carpaccio. The Italian staff is friendly even though sometimes it took a bit longer to get served. Provided the atmosphere we did not, however, mind waiting. It was a very nice chilled evening. read more

Ah Valle, just thinking of my last dinner here makes my mouth water. This is a truly authentic Italian restaurant with great ambient and a very big menu. The truffle pasta is my favorite!
