Mario was a recommendation to us for our wedding, and man, was he worth every penny. From the get go, he was soooo easy to deal with and was charming, funny, and very fair with his pricing. We found him to be very flexible and were impressed by how organized he was. We met with Mario a few times before the wedding to discuss everything and inform him of our concerns and needs. On the day of, he did a phenomenal job and really gave us an unforgettable party. The music was great, his energy was outstanding, and until now, we have guests who rave about him. Definitely not your ordinary DJ. We were sad to say goodbye when the reception was over, but will most definitely book him again for any events in the future. When I told this other DJ that Greg DJed our wedding and "look we're still together!", he took out his phone and snapped a picture of us and said he'd show Greg, which I thought was really cute. So Greg is an RCMP Officer who happens to also own a DJing business (!) He's very personable and nice. My husband and I have an eclectic taste in music and we had some quirky songs we wanted him to play, and he actually found the songs and played them for us. He also snapped some pictures during the wedding and printed them out on his little portable printer so we could have some real photos right away and we were also able to give some out to guests. His prices were also really reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience with First Choice Entertainment. I definitely recommend First Choice Entertainment for DJing Services.

This company exceeded my every expectation and this was the consensus of everyone at the event. The attention to every detail (which elevates a provider to a professional) was exemplary. He ended our wedding 15 minutes earlier than we had agreed to and didn't announce us as husband and…read morewife (just our names with no title. He was booked until 10 and ended our wedding at 9:45. He called the last song at 9:42. He also didn't introduce us as husband and wife. I have videos with time stamps to prove all of the above. He announced mother and father of the bride and groom and the rest of the wedding party and then he announced us by just our names which was pretty lackluster in comparison. Just because I didn't take my husband's last name, it doesn't mean that we aren't married. It doesn't mean that we aren't husband and wife. He could have said "now, as husband and wife, Kristen and Aaron!" There was also a misunderstanding when I asked him not to play too many slow songs. He took this to mean no slow songs. TECHNICALLY 0 slow songs is not too many but I wished he had asked what I meant if he was confused. I didn't realize until the end that no slow songs had played. We would have liked 2 or 3. I guess this is partially my fault for not being clearer. He did the ceremony and provided us with microphones at no extra cost, but it doesn't change the fact that he ended our once in a lifetime wedding day early. He said he would never end a wedding without the bride and groom's permission, yet he ended ours early. I promise with every fiber of my being that we would never ask to end our wedding early. After he announced that it was the last song at 9:42, I turned to my husband in front of the DJ booth and said "wait, don't we have him until 10?" DJ Carl suggested that I should have said something to him in the moment while it was happening. I shouldn't have to beg the DJ to stay for the full contracted time that we both signed and agreed to. We already had a million things to worry about that day and I didn't want the confrontation. We didn't want an argument on our wedding day and he had already announced that it was the last song. We waited a year to review because we had just had our wedding and we wanted to take a break from wedding stress and then family things came up and job changes and we were busy for so long. I remembered after our anniversary when we were reflecting on everything. I wish we got the experience that other reviewers got and I'm not sure why we didn't. Did he just not like us? We treated him with nothing but kindness and respect throughout the process and paid for his plate of food and his drinks so that he wouldn't be hungry or thirsty. TRUST ME when I say that we were both VERY aware that he ended the wedding early when it was happening but we didn't want the confrontation because we're both terrified of it. Trust me when I say that we would never forfeit a single minute with our loved ones on our wedding day. What hurts the most him ending our wedding early without our permission is that we can never do that day over. We will never get that day back. We would like 15 minutes more of dancing, laughing, and holding our loved ones on our wedding day. We would be crazy not to.

Just refuses to discuss our wedding details and so we now realize he intends to keep our money with no intention of showing up to provide music services. Despite a contract - he out of the blue says we now owe more money and that payment is due in full 30 days before the wedding, although the contract CLEARLY states the balance is due the DAY of the wedding. Now less than 6 weeks before our wedding and we have to find an alternate music solution since this guy refuses to answer his phone (a few months ago he removed his voicemail), and sends us nasty emails in response to use telling. him he needs to either call or or return our deposit.
